Really incredible staff here. I lost my phone in an Uber and the girl behind reception desk was incredible. She was googling how to contact uber, allowing me to contact my family in the UK to get help. She even messaged from her private phone when the hotel phone could not make a call. It was above and beyond and she is a credit to the hotel. Also the smell of the hotel is incredible. I've asked many times what it is, but nobody is sure. If I could purchase a bottle of the airfreshener or room spray they use, i would in a heartbeat!

I recently stayed at H4 Hotel Hamburg‑Bergedorf, and overall it delivered a satisfying blend of comfort, convenience, and thoughtful service. The staff was exceptionally helpful, making my stay pleasant. The breakfast buffet was another highlight—well-prepared and offering a good variety. I also appreciated the comfortable bed, which made for a restful night after long trip.

Central location in Hamburg-Bergedorf. About 5 minutes on foot to Bergedorf station. 2 minutes by car to Autobahn 25. Very comfortable beds, adequately spacious rooms that are well kept. Generous breakfast buffet of above average quality. Reasonably priced underground parking.

If you look closely there are spots where it is lacking maintenance and feels dated. Purely cosmetic issues, though.

All went as expected from a 4stars hotel. Rich breakfast. Very good service personnel during the breakfast time! Room was cleaned daily. Good coffee and tea in the room. Good bad! Silence during the night. Bergedorf is a small and cute place for small shopping and walking (clean and fresh air park in the down town). Hamburg Central Station is reachable in 20min by S-bann (S2 Or S21) and about 50min (S2 + S1) to the Airport.

There was a small misunderstanding in regards to missing hand soup. Next day, the replaced it and was all right.

We recently stayed at the H4 Hotel in Hamburg and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was impressive, offering a wide variety of choices that catered to all tastes. It was a delightful start to our days. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were outstanding; their friendliness and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly stood out and contributed greatly to the positive atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hamburg!

Hotel staff where friendly, spoke good English (an important point for international travel) and have helped and guided me on using the German rail service. The hotel has ample parking and is situated in a quite area of Hamburg which added to the relaxing experience. The wifi was at a reasonable speed and had good reception all over.

Parking is a bit expensive (like most EU cities), and the room did not have that may free plugs. The entrance of the hotel was a bit difficult to find as the instructions to the entrance was in German.

The Check-in went smooth and we could even check in a bit earlier without adding the early check-in add-on. Prior to check-in a few days before optional benefits could be booked for the stay (Dinner, Late check-out, early check-in, Wine in the room) The Room was big, had everything we needed. Clean, tidy and 2 small free water bottles were included + a snack on the bed. A Coffee-Machine was available with 2 options of coffee.

The Shower in the Bathroom haven't had a separate door to close. It's easy to spill water throughout the Bathroom when you're not careful. The Room didn't have Air Con (at least I couldn't see one) but you can open one Window to get air.

Everything was ok. Spacious, comfortable,clean room and bathroom. Water, coffee, tea in the room.Nice staff. Very good breakfast. Underground parking, for extra money. Far from the centre of the city, but the train station is only 7 min. walk. It takes aprox. 20 min. to Hauptbahnhof. A shopping mall, a food market just nearby.

Maybe some fish at breakfast. No minibar in the room. A persistent smell of perfume in the room. I noticed that it became a habbit to use perfume for the curtains and carpets after cleaning the rooms in many hotels. But there are allergic or asthmatic people, for whom this can be a problem.

The room, bathroom and the beds we very clean and tidy. The breakfast menu was a joy in the morning and they have extensive hours on the weekends which made it easier for us. Except one occasion, the courtesy of staff was remarkable, especially at the restaurant.

Not clear how the parking payment works and the signs in the parking are confusing. An automated payment machine at the parking could help a lot. Also the parking costs sound a bit too high for the location. In the beginning we encountered an impatient and unhelpful receptionist which made us hesitate to retun to the desk to ask our questions before her shift was over. Thankfully that was only one person and the rest of the staff were kind and respectful.

Nice hotel 20 minutes ride with the S-bahn from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the station in Bergedorf. Stayed only one night so I cant say much about Bergedorf. Had a splendid dinner at the hotel restaurant and a refreshing beer at the hotel bar.

Nothing
