The quaint old school type room gave a nostalgic vibe and a pleasant stay.

No express checkout system and the room tariff was collected while checking out and not during check-in, and that's why express check out was a difficult possibility. Although, after requesting them they did still take the tariff fee 1 day prior to check out and showed us where we could drop the key so we didn't lose out on much time during check out.

Located in the charming Altstadt (old town) of Harburg, it is very easy to reach Hamburg with S-Bahn in about 20 minutes. The room was confortable and had everything we needed for our short (1 night) stay

The lack of an elevator could be an issue for some people

It had old fashion charm. They even used actually keys. Once on the train, which is a few blocks away was 20 minutes from Hamburg Central Station

On the fourth floor with no elevator

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate. An easy 5-minute walk from the S-bahn station "Harburg Rathaus", which took us into the center of Hamburg within 25 minutes. Rooms were small but adequate for our needs. We stayed there for four nights.

The hotel is right next to a busy highway, so we had to keep the windows closed at night. The windows blocked out the sound very well. The price seems high for the size of the rooms, but it was still substantially cheaper than other options for Hamburg.

Great location, close to metro station for easy transport into Hamburg. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Staff was amazing and helpful at ever turn. Parking was easy onsite. Bit tight but nice. Felt secure with the loaction

Very nice location in Hamburg-Harburg, easy to reach by public transport. Numerous restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Friendly staff at the reception. My single room was clean and equipped with everything I needed. I had booked without breakfast and therefore cannot rate it.

Check-in only until 10 pm. No lift. Check-out officially until 11 am, but at 8 am the cleaning crew was already standing in the room. Maybe they should get information about the departure days of the guests.

I've asked them 3 weeks after my trip if they could give me an invoice (which they did immediately) and they also send me my hot water bottle that I had forgotten there! They were also very sweet on the phone :)

If you are on the third floor; you get some great exercise! But reception will carry your bags up which is nice

very central in Harburg although a bit annoying to get to Hamburg since there was a construction on the S-Bahn line. That said, not the hotel’s fault. Rooms are nice and adequate

price was a bit high but I think that was due to an event going on in Hamburg over the weekend.

Excellent choice if you travel for the fair - 30min far away by S-Bahn, but moderate price, quiet surroundings, clean room and comfy bed.
