The room we reserved for the week turned out to be the handicap access room, and was very small. At the evening bonfire with other guests and the owners, we mentioned that we did not know it would be so small. They did some fenagling and on the 2nd day moved us to a larger room at no extra cost. These people are awesome! Friendly and personable. The rooms are clean, have everything you need (mini fridge, microwave, toiletries, etc), cleaning staff was efficient and personable. The pool was nice, and there were even BBQ grills we could use. The location is quiet, right on the highway, has an awesome restaurant/gift shop right across the street with great food (Stingray's), and is 11 minutes to the public beach.

Staff & owner are very friendly. This is the nicest motel I've ever stayed at. Very clean and modern. The room had everything I needed that I was afraid it wouldn't. Such as a full body length mirror, luggage holder and a place high enough to hang all my dress clothes for the weekend. It had all the other amenities listed on their site too! The bed was rather comfy "clean" and they had 2 extra blankets on the side in case you were cold. Bathroom was very clean as well. Will stay again for sure. Thanks to the staff for their kindness!

Front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was exceptionally clean and maintained. The small amenities in the room were a happy little bonus. Loved the vibe and aesthetic of the entire place. Right smack dab in the middle of everything - beaches, trails, convenient stores, restaurants, and bars. I will definitely recommend this spot to friends and family and anyone really! An absolute gem that I will be returning to in the future. And can't beat the price!!

What a great place! It’s a little resort that so cute with vintage trailers and beachy decorations. The pool is lovely and clean, The rooms are very clean and comfortable, adequately appointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have bunnies, chickens, turkeys that are so entertaining. It’s also dog friendly with a nice dog walk that leads you to a beautiful cornfield and fig trees. Across the street is a great restaurant that you can get take out and bring back to your room, which has a nice table, Microwave and refrigerator. Or you can eat outside at the picnic tables. I believe there is also a fire pit and grill I will definitely return.

Cute, clean, no frills but perfect for us! Affordable! Retro style motel. Very quiet. Love the lawn area right up front where you could grill or go to the fire pit. Loved the cute little farm animals that you could see. There's a private area in of the back of the motel with cornfields which are beautiful!Cozy pool we had to ourselves which was nice. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean . It had a Keurig, microwave and small refrigerator which was nice. The barn door on the bathroom had a nice touch but you had to use the luggage holder to keep it shut. Wewould definitely stay here again! Very affordable and conveniently located.

The sliding barn bathroom door was adorable but it wouldn't stay shut unless we propped the luggage rack beside it.

Everything! Cape Motel has been on the Shore a long time. The owners have updated it, but kept it quaint. They have paid close attention to important details. The rooms were very clean with a very comfortable bed, a nice sofa, a Keurig, mini fridge ( decent size), and microwave. Each outlet had an adapter to allow for multiple items to be plugged in. The ceiling fan made the room comfortable and the window unit allowed you to adjust temperature as needed. The grounds were well maintained with a lot of “local flare”. There is a pool and ice picnic tables. You have great photo ops all around the property including a “Cape Motel” wall. The laundry room/ ice room was even decorated to the “T” The reception area was charming with a retro style. The staff was beyond great. Our stay was amazing. It was definitely a “10”! I regret that I didn’t take pictures.

If we could provide 1 suggestion, it would be to add a deadbolt to the door. I felt safe, but that added security would have been nice.

The property was clean and quiet. The room was updated and had everything we needed. I accidentally booked the room for the wrong night and the staff was extremely accomodating and moved our stay to the next night. We checked in late and the office left our keys in a secure location making it easy to check in. Check out was super easy. We just had to drop our keys in a key box out front. The pool was nice and clean

Everything about the facilities were great. I didn't like the change that Booking, com kept sending me about the price. It was listed at $82, but I received the bill for $89. Then I received a bill for $97, but was then billed $107!!! You should advertise a price and then stick with it. I do not plan on using Booking. com again.

Wonderful spot with nice renovations that respect the heritage of the motel with added fun things on property (signage, pirate statue, available bonfire, grills, etc) that make you smile at every turn. Stay made even better by wonderful other guests we met at pool who are repeat visitors. Had pleasure of meeting owner who has made all this happen with her unique vision and hardwork. Will return as soon as we can. . . .

Loved the vibe of this place! We had been traveling for several days and the Cove was a breath of fresh air! So clean and well-kept, lush fluffy towels, welcoming and friendly staff, and animals! Chickens, turkeys, and rabbits! Wilma was a bit of a talker and seemed to love company. 😁
