Breakfast was great! Staff was so busy but made sure we were taken care of. I liked the coffee bar. Our room was so nice. Spacious. Bed was super comfortable. Location was far enough from the center of town. We liked it that way.

Breakfast buffet was too pricey for what was provided. Should have some sort of boardwalk to the ocean as it was difficult to walk from the hotel. Chair and canopy rentals should be available throughout the week and not just Saturday and Sunday.

I enjoyed almost everything about this hotel! Great food from the restaurant, great view from balcony. Great pools & hot tub.

The only issue i had with my stay is there were 2-4 inch medal bars sticking out from one side of the bed. I will include a photo, as well as the bruises it left me with. Although me and my dad would constantly bang our ankles off of these, it was easy to keep forgetting the bars were there (because normally you don’t have to be cautious getting into your bed) leading to hitting our legs even more. It was a great hotel other than the 3 medal bars sticking out from the bed.

better pillows, i requested 2 additional pillows which was fine but the pillows were still lumpy and soft. (just my preference for a firm pillow), the location of the vending/ice machines were annoying but understandable to the layout of the hotel. The mini fridge we had in our room smelled and needed some baking soda to settle the smell. other than that it was a nice stay for our anniversary trip!

I was there for a convention, which went off very well. The hospitality room was well stocked and the staff was friendly. My room was upgraded because it was not ready at check in, so that was nice. The view was ok, but I was not expecting one, nor would I have appreciated it as I was hardly in the room. The stairwell and elevators made it easy to get to my room. It's hard to be critical of the cleanliness because of the recent, rare snowstorm which contributed to some of the dingy atmosphere of a surely lovely summer destination. The restaurant had a good view, and the attitude of the staff I encountered brightened up the place and added to the wonderful experience of my conference there. I would definitely return should circumstances warrant.

I love this place! Very clean. Very comfortable. They have a restaurant bar there. The drinks are a little pricey. But you’re on vacation and it is convenient. The food at the restaurant is very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the huge beach. It is not crowded. It is a way from the boardwalk. They have some volleyball nets there and a patio sitting area. Very beautiful view of the ocean from the rooms.

I don’t understand some of the negative reviews on here. The water in the pool and hot tub was a little cloudy. But it is hard to keep up when there is so much use. some people on here complain about the smell in the pool and hot tub area. It is not that bad considering it’s only in the pool and hot tub area. Anywhere you go where there is a pool and hot tub. It’s going to smell like a pool and hot tub area!. This place is the best kept secret around. Will always be the place. I stay when I go to Virginia Beach!

The room was very nicely appointed, comfortable and essentially felt clean. The carpet could have used a cleaning, but it wasn’t too bad. The beds were comfortable and our ocean view from the balcony was fantastic.

The hotel is a non-smoking property, but the guest on the balcony below was pretty much chain smoking cigars. The unpleasant smell was rising up into our balcony, and the room when we had the door open to hear the ocean. I did mention it to the desk, but they said they didn’t really have a way to police that on the upper floors.

I liked the location away from the boardwalk. Staff were very friendly. Food was good at the restaurant. Short walk to the beach, and the beach wasn't crowded. Beds were comfortable and the AC was cold. Loved having balcony where we could sit and listen to the nightly music.

The room could have been much cleaner. Dated rooms, but the beds were comfortable. If you want to go to bed before 10 pm, then ask for a room away from the outside seating where music plays nightly.

Balcony was nice. Great Entertainment. Restaurant/Bar convenient and reasonable. Location is wonderful if you like less crowds. Bed was very comfortable. It was dated and dirty in the common areas (elevators, hallways, etc.), but we had a great time.

The hotel was dated. While the bathroom and bedding, etc. Was very clean. The carpet in rooms and hallways are extremely dirty. No luggage carts were available.

I loved that we were on the 16th floor, and they have a private beach and that your four-legged friends are welcome to stay. I didn't bring my pooch, but there were plenty of furry friends just running around and having fun! They also had live music every night we were there. My granddaughter just loved the pools!

Some of the front desk staff seemed like they wanted to be elsewhere. The all you can eat breakfast was a little pricey seeing how you had to pay extra for coffee, juice, toast, pancakes, and waffles. The restaurant staff were delightful

Location was ideal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The suite room was well laid out and allowed our large family (6) to stay spend time together very comfortably

We had to walk by the garbage dumpster every day on the way to the beach and it stunk! The toilet set would not stay up so as a male who needs to urinate, I had to hold the seat with one leg while I took aim to urinate into the toilet.
