Staff in TULU bar and restaurants are excellent customer services

Today 7/11/2022 my wife and me get stocked on elevator No.1 for about 20 minutes, about 10:00 am and we call Emergency for 3/4 times and the operator only say "help is going on the way" but we never get any help, finally I believe that some guest call front desk of maintenance and finally the elevator was open. This hotel needs a personal In Charge for the elevator. We were very scared for 20 minutes and no one gave us any apology or explication about this incident. If you want more information about this situation, you can contact me any time. I mentioned this problem to one of staff in front desk that she (was a lady) say "sorry" but no more.

I loved the location and the esthetics.

Head of Security Matt Spinelli was rude and aggressive, I pray he gets the help he needs. If you’re a mom and want to take pictures of your child here, save your breath. I’d hate for a grown man to get in your personal space and tell you that you’re trespassing while having a room at this hotel. There’s also no signage stating no pictures, and according to marriott there is no policy against taking pictures. Overall the hotel was beautiful, but he was horrid.

Location is excellent, beautiful beach. Roof top restaurant and bar is fabulous. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.

Air conditioning units outside the balcony prevented us from enjoying the ocean view. Staff was borderline rude/very indifferent and annoyed when I asked about changing rooms. She said she would check with manager and did not get back to us. Additional parking fee on top of daily resort fee. Volume of music was too high during the day. I understand having a lively atmosphere during the evening.

The restaurants were very nice … the location was perfect …. The pools were very nice. Beach chairs were nice ….shouldn’t have had to pay for beach umbrellas

Partitions between the balconies would have been nice….no privacy Parking should have been included in the price of the room ..and a microwave would have been nice.

Haha Little fire alarm malfunction around 01:30 handled very professionally!! 31 years as a Virginia Beach Firefighter no biggie!

It was one of the most beautifully decorated properties I have ever seen. As soon as you walk into the building you are greeted by very pleasant staff. My room was very clean, they have room service for breakfast, lunch dinner and drinks.

We were pretty high up and the balcony was very narrow. I simply opened my door open to look outside but I didn’t sit on the balcony. I am terribly afraid of heights so that was not something I wanted to step on to. I would also love if they had a jacuzzi. I don’t think they do.

This was our first stay at the Marriott. Breakfast was outstanding. Location was perfect, with a private beach. Balcony in the Panoramic King Oceanfront room was private and HUGE! Fantastic view! Great Customer Service throughout the resort. We have stayed at several hotels along the Boardwalk but will only stay here from now on. Initially we had booked an “Ocean View” room but then noticed our balcony was on the side of the building and not oceanfront so we re-booked the oceanfront room. So be mindful if that when you book. The oceanfront rooms are more expensive but worth it!

Beautiful hotel on the beach and located on a quieter end of the beach where no boardwalk exists and the architecture and decor. Ice cream shop in house and Starbucks!

Charged for every little thing from the hotel owned private parking garage ($30 per day for hotel guests), possible $20 per pool/beach towel card paper card, a ton of fees that took the $300 per night stay to $350 per night due to many different taxes not mentioned at booking or check-in and the beer prices were $10 for average beers and $6 across the street at their upscale $500 per night sister hotel, the historic Cavalier. 🧐

I actually had my breakfast next-door buffet 😋 I got up too late the first day, 😩 But my Dinnr was awesome 👌 then my lunch was good too. Then my last dinner was at the GG e pier, having the salmon 😋

The pool should be opened 24/7 , if it needs to be closed while cleaning, atleast keep the pool open until 1am. That way late arriving guest can unwind relaxing in the pool then go to sleep 😴. With all that you can do here, being able to cool off and relax in the pool would be nice. I didn't want to go 😩 I had to be out by 11am. Just enough time for breakfast and pool to finish changing to leave. I needed more time. The view from the 22nd floor made me want to live there.

I liked the design of the hotel, the room, sea view the pool food , bar and Restaurant’s roof are awesome

I just get two chairs and I used like 2 hours and they charge me $55 wow this is insane. they should not charge a resort fee and parking fee and 500 per room when you are going to charge chairs and umbrella while you are inside, this is really looks very bad.
