location and view to the ocean was excellent. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We had a few minor issues in our room and facility maintenance came immediately and repaired. They were super friendly and fixed issues in least than 5 minutes.

Every visit we get surrounding room's that have smokers on balcony. We have been coming to Oceanfront Inn for several years now and this is a continued issue with other guest smoking cigarettes or Pot. The smell is awful when you are trying to enjoy the balcony. Not to mention a fire safety hazard. Hotel doesn't have strict policy on NON SMoking faciliy.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything. I parked and never used my car again. Loved the oceanfront view. Great for people watching. I would stay again.

I hate Resort Fees, they should be illegal. They should just add these to the room rate. When booking on booking.com I was not informed of these fees until after I had paid in full. Then got charged when checking in. The restaurant was not open the entire time I was there (midweek). That was a shame as it would have been so convenient. There are lots of alternatives nearby however.

We really enjoyed the pool and how convenient to everything was. Step out back door and your right on the ocean front, and pretty much center to every store and not far from pier

Need a smoking area closer to rooms my Mom is 78 years old and it was difficult for her to go up and and outside whenever she needed to smoke

I had a wonderful stay at The Oceanfront Inn in Virginia Beach! The price was more than reasonable, especially considering the breathtaking ocean views from the private balconies. Waking up to the sound of the waves each morning was a blessing. The indoor pool was a great bonus — relaxing and perfect for both adults and kids. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable; they were friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. I also recommended this hotel to several family members who joined me for our 5-day, 4-night getaway, and they were just as pleased. Everyone felt at home, and we all agreed that this would be our go-to spot whenever we returned to Virginia Beach. Highly recommend The Oceanfront Inn for anyone looking for affordability, comfort, and a front-row seat to the ocean!

The tables in the rooms were disappointingly small. They’re really only suited for one person — definitely not enough space for two people to eat comfortably or to use the table for any meaningful activity. For a hotel meant to accommodate couples or families, a larger table would make a big difference. It’s a small detail, but it affects the overall comfort of the stay.

The staff was friendly and it was a great location. Very clean.

You cannot beat the location for the price. I am from Maine. I love the ocean, but to stay on the ocean in season would cost thousands of dollars. This place rivals anywhere I have stayed for the location, right on the ocean, open the doors and you can hear the ocean. Its a dream place to stay due to the location. The pool was beautiful. My son and I went from the ocean to the pool and back. It was very safe, we even had camp chairs I brought in my vehicle that I traveled in from Maine, and we would leave the out and watch the sunrise in the mornings. My hotel room was cleaned daily, and tidied up, which I appreciated so much!

The facility itself, the hallways needed to be vacuumed, the floors outside the elevators needed some deep cleaning, The elevators needed to be wiped down, floors washed. If you can overlook that, sit on your balcony, with wine or a coffee in the a.m., you will do fine.

The location was fantastic and the staff were very kind, helpful, and professional. Give credit to those that handle the day to day operations and cleaning. The two double beds room was spacious and clean. Amenities included coffee maker and fridge. The balcony was oceanfront with an absolutely stunning view. The beach was easily accessible. Parking was onsite and there were plenty locations within walking distance. A bonus was having a restaurant on the premises.

I wish the room had a microwave and the tv could use an upgrade. Otherwise it was a delightful stay and I would stay again!

Only stayed for 1 night but it was lovely waking up the next morning to smooth jazz playing over the speakers outside in the landscaping it really set a relaxing chill morning and was lovely sitting outside on the balcony enjoying the music and the beach. Even though we arrived super early 11am checking not until 3 or 4pm we called ahead letting hotel know we had reservations during the check-in window and hoped we could get our check-in earlier. The hotel 11am checked us in gave us our parking pass for the lot or garage depending on spaces and advised to come back at 1pm to see if our room was ready since the hotel staff was still cleaning the rooms from the previous guests stay. We went to the beach for a few hours and came back at 2pm just incase they needed more time to clean we gave them some wiggle room and we were able to be fully checked in. They even asked us if we had a floor preference which was very thoughtful. We stated we are flexible and it's not a must but we would prefer to be on a higher floor for better view of the beach and they said not a problem we got the 4th floor out of 6. They have 3 elevators which is rare and super helpful to have during the summer with all the families and events and tournaments going on in the area bringing so many people to the area. The restaurant attached to the hotel "Clayton's" was delicious and affordable they are not connected to the hotel so you cannot charge the bill to the room but they had an awesome happy hour & inside dining and cover patio dining with plenty of sitting. Very happy with our short stay.

The location was great, I loved the indoor heated pool. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very nice & clean. The shower was awesome!

There was no microwave available... It took a few days for my room to get warm. No seating in the lobby area. I had to kill a roach on the ceiling over the closet☹️😞
