This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Virginia Beach sandwiched between the boardwalk and the shopping strip. Every room has a beautiful ocean view. We were able to check in early and were offered a choice of floors. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I was impressed by the variety of food and how well it tasted. The pool area was nice and having a gym available was a great bonus too. Can’t beat the breathtaking sunrise view though… All in all, we’d stay there again. It was affordable and gave you a lot for your money.

We chose the top floor so we could have the best view but didn’t consider the fact that we might be waiting awhile for the elevator. This hotel has two elevators that run all day and stop at practically every floor (at least that was my experience anyway)… While it was clean, it needs some updates. The elevator smelled horrible and made some odd noises. It just sounded like it was struggling, especially when it was full of people. It would also be nice if hypoallergenic bedding and pillows were used. I’m allergic to down feathers. After the first night, I woke up with hives on my face. I acknowledge it’s my own fault for not checking the bedding but it also wasn’t disclosed anywhere.

Breakfast was great, loved the location. Beds were comfortable and the lighting in the bathroom was fabulous.

Well the first night there it was just my daughter and I laying in bed watching tv almost asleep and we got a phone call from the front desk saying they had a noise complaint coming from our room. It was jarring and really accusatory. In my opinion they should have had staff check prior to accusing. Additionally this was a Friday night at 930. We could hear doors opening and shutting near us and footsteps but nothing that would have prompted a noise complaint that early on a weekend night! Additionally, we split the room with friends the second night and we had two cars so one of us was left paying $35 for parking in a garage. I understand parking is limited but would be nice if you could partner with the city to find better solutions or make a discounted rate at local garages.

We booked a room with two queen beds for two adults and two kids, but when we arrived, we were given a room with one king bed instead. It was very cramped with the kids, and the extra bed they provided was uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. When we asked the staff about the issue, they said it was Booking.com's fault and that the reservation they received was only for two adults in a king bedroom. This was frustrating, and it made our stay less comfortable than expected.

The location is great, right on the boardwalk with a great view of the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The parking lot in front of the location is small. It's not until you check in that you get the location of the 2 other parking lots, and those are very helpful.

Everything was great! The location was perfect, and you can’t beat free parking and free breakfast!

Our upstairs neighbors were smoking weed, and after we figured out who it was, the front desk staff handled it promptly and we didn’t experience any other issues. The pool was a bit small, and oddly shaped that made it a bit dangerous in my opinion. It was great to be provided free parking, but the main lot was very crowded and impossible to find a spot there to park. Walking a few blocks with elderly folks and kids was not super ideal either.

Location was good. Right on the boardwalk. Very Short walk to the beach. Very clean lobby and rooms. Beach was clean. There was indoor pool but we didn't go in it. Looked clean! Breakfast was awesome. It was better than a continental breakfast. They had scrambled eggs, veggie omelets, bacon, sausage links, turkey sausage patties, breakfast potatoes and sausage 'n gravy. They had Biscuits, toast, pancakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, cereals and yogurts. Coffee, Tea, Juices and milk. All condiments are available. Coffee/Tea is actually available all day. They alternate some breakfast items every other day. Room was clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. They provide Dove products: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and Lotion. No sample sizes. All big bottles so you definitely have enough and will not run out. These bottles are locked in place so you can not walk away with them :) Our room had a small Keurig machine stocked with 6 coffee and tea k-cups. With sugars, powder creamers and stirrers. We also had a small microwave and a mini fridge. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom. The ice machine worked good on our floor. We were on the 7th floor. Staff was very nice and professional! :)

The sink faucet was loose, it needs to be tightened. Toilet paper holder was bent and broken. A Smart TV would have been nice to watch netflix, prime, peacock etc. I asked for a late check out and was told no because there was a maximum late check outs for the day. Parking needs to be closer if you have to park in the 2nd or 3rd lot. Would be nice to have a ice machine in the lobby.

Everything - location, cleanliness, amenities , value for money and especially the staff. Me and my family were there to celebrate my daughter’s ninth birthday and I asked the receptionist if they can share a goodie bag with here as a surprise? But instead the manager went outside to buy a cake, candles and showed up at our room singing happy birthday to my daughter. Thanks Emily, Alex, Alisa and Joy for putting a smile on my daughter face. Love you all!

Nothing i didn’t like, I just wished there was an outside pool.

The facility was one of the cleanest we've ever been to. Our room was straightened/cleaned up daily and towels/toiletries replaced by staff. Staff were very friendly and always greeted guests.

The only disappointment for me was that the room temp only went down to 68 degrees. Which is relaxing for most, but I like my room to feel like I'm sleeping on an iceburg in Alaska when I sleep, so it was too warm for my liking. That is legit the only slight negative I can report. Everything else was wonderful!

The hotel was very clean. The entrances, lobby, and rooms were all very clean. The staff were all very helpful and they all seemed happy. The room was laid out nicely and the beds were very comfortable. The pillows were even great. The shower was somewhat unique and excellent. Balcony views were awesome. The free breakfast was quite good every day and we looked forward to it. This hotel was renovated a couple of years ago and everything has been taken care of very well as it's entire appearance is that of a brand new hotel.

The TV would only show maybe 10 channels of the 50-60 listed in the programming guide. The Internet connection went down for a long period (but only on one day). The walls between rooms were pretty thin and allowed conversation to pass from room to room. We had another group of rude folks in the next room that woke up around 6 am daily and started yelling at each other at that time. You can't do a lot about people's upbringing. The parking lot is pretty small (it is adequate if you get there at a reasonable time) but satellite parking is available

Breakfast was good, I like the swimming pool as well. Close proximity to the beach and boardwalk.
