I have a family of 5. My oldest daughter was moving into college!!! Before we moved her in, I wanted to stay at a hotel near her college. Since her college was next to VA Beach...I wanted the best(vacation for all of us) before we dropped her off, a balcony room looking at the beach next to EVERYTHING. I searched every motel and hotel within my budget. I'm a researcher. You have to be with a family of 5. Cost, location, strategies and plenty, plenty more for my beautiful 3 daughters and my Queen. Location - This hotel is located in the middle of everything on Atlantic Ave, plan on walking...it was fun and got my two youngest tired for nite nite time. It's an Oceanfront hotel and that is the room I rented. It has 3 rooms-1. room with two double beds. 2. Bathroom. 3 Kitchen, Fridge, TV, pull out couch bed and a long table attached to the wall. Then there is your private balcony. They also have non ocean front rooms as well. It was clean. Easy access to beach. Showerwalkway.Do your research on how to make the best time on Vacation and of course use your own common sense on how your family moves as a unit. In life there is always going to be positive things and negative. The negative for me at this location the parking. But since I read about that already We only moved our car 1 time on 5 day stay and got back early. The elevator. But since I read about that already, We walked the stairs and only used the elevator in extreme situations and at night time. I smoke Newports. My wife does not like it, my kids complain...across the street they have smoke shops. I purchased those nicotine vapes. If you want to smoke, smoke outside...everyone is doing it!!! Its not better but for my girls and Queen, I heard 0.00% complaints about the smell of Newports and 1000% more fun and I want more ice cream from our girls. They also have a pool. It looked very clean. We didn't use it because we are BEACH LOVERS. AND I forgot and remembered that old phrase...

What could of been better? Nothing. I researched all the ups and downs about this location......and the staff there helped out 100% of the internet complaints to overcome their issues. There will be some type of issue with any location, that is why there is staff. For my issues. Staff was GREAT!

Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great! We ate some meals in but used microwave not stovetop. Appliances all worked adequately. We would stay here again in the off-season but we prefer quieter areas during the summer madness.

There was a minor issue with the elevator when we arrived but it was fine after that. Some minor things in the suite on arrival - one light in the bedroom did not work and the opposite side charging USB ports were dead, but there are a lot of charging ports available so not a big deal.Building is a bit dated.

The location is great. The fact that has part of the parking covered is also a great plus. The people handling the business are very helpful and going beyond expectations.

The sofa bed/couch had stains on it-it needs either to be cleaned or replaced. A service restroom in the/near lobby will also be a great addition. I could not find from what floor but we stayed at 7th floor and too many times, opening the balcony door pot smell was entering inside. Absolutely disgusting and unfortunately looks like the entire resort is plagued by this kind of people.

It smelled really clean. It was close to shopping and food. The balcony was oceanfront. The bed was comfy. There was a kitchen with a full fridge. The towels and rags were clean. There is shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Tv was a nice size, there was a safe.

This place looks a bit outdated. There are holes here and there. The paint is messy. The floor felt...dirty under my feet. There was a dark stain on my pillow case but i wasnt worried. It looked like a stain that had been washed but wouldnt come out.

The hotel location is ideal. Beachfront on the boardwalk and within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. Every room has a balcony. Perfectly clean with the bedroom separate from the main room. Full kitchenette with dishes for 4, utensils, dish soap, towel and rag. It has an outdoor pool and free parking space. It also requires your room key to activate the elevator and entry door from the beach. I love that added touch of security. It means no random person can just walk in from the beach/street. The only place I’ll stay

The only negative thing is it has one small elevator that is shared by 8 floors. So in busy times you will be left waiting.

Everything was nice. They provide you with cooking utensils, plus fork, spoon , knives for eating, plates, bowls, drinking glass, dish Washing soap, dish rag, dish rack, and sponge. In the bathroom, they provide you with shampoo, condition, and body wash, which, by the way, smells really good. Hair dryer, iron, and iron board. We had a nice time there.

Couldn't smoke on our balcony. I had to walk downstairs at night to smoke.

The location is mid-boardwalk which was great. We had a 2 full sized bed and 1 pull out bed room. It had a full size fridge, a stove top, and a kitchen sink. The shower pressure was great. The room was very clean and housekeeping came daily. The pool was on the 4th floor facing the street, but had a great view of when they did street performances at night. Our family of 6 loved this hotel!

The parking is tight and the pool is a little small.

The check in attendant Sheila was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I stayed at this motel 2 times recently in the past 2 months. Very good experience. Sheila recommended places to eat and helped with my checkin and other rewards info and best way to make reservations directly with Best Western for future travel.

minor things like coffee pot had not been cleaned out and garbage in the receptacle on my 2nd stay.

Location was awesome. Right on the beach. Close to shopping, food and fun. We walked just about everywhere. We even walked late at night and it was quiet. Even the larger stores were just a short drive away. I will stay here again the next visit to Virginia Beach. We also visited the Aquarium and Zoo. Both were a short drive away. Staff was amazing.

We did have a small mishap with our room. However, the staff took care of it right away.

We really enjoyed the location, room was clean and big with a full kitchen (except for a spatula!). The WiFi was good, but reception was not always constant. We also loved the balcony overlooking the boardwalk and beach (ocean). There is a very nice ice cream shop just beside the building on the boardwalk side. This hotel is located pretty much in the middle of the boardwalk length so this means that there are many restaurants, mini-putt, and souvenir shoppes nearby as well as a pharmacy. There is enough parking for one car per room and you can park either on the first floor (which is covered) or the second floor (which is exposed to sunlight). Overall, it is a great hotel for the money!

The elevator is a bit of an issue as there is only one and the wait can be quite long. The room were supposed to be cleaned every three days, but no one came during our entire five day stay, which was not much of an issue for us as we cleaned the floor with the broom provided and we changed the trash ourselves (you can ask for extra garbage bags). You can also get more towels, toilet paper, and paper tissue at the reception whenever needed.
