We were so surprised, the curbside appeal was more than we expected, we went in and were greeted by an exceptionally pleasant young man, who gave us a rundown of the facilities and a map of everything in the building. There is ample parking, right to your assigned floor, and there was an unexpected pleasant smell in the hallways, it was clean, and when we entered the room we were immediately comfortable. It had everything you need. It a was laid out conveniently and was sparkling clean. They provided, pots,and electric skillet , dishes, glasses mugs, cooking utensils, strainer, large bowl. All stainless kitchen, with an apartment sized refrigerator, a combination overhead microwave, oven, air fryer. A coffee maker and a dishwasher. The bedroom and the kitchen /lounge each had a huge smart screen, we each could watch the programs we wanted. Everything was absolutely perfect. The view from the balcony, every morning, dozens of dolphins play, for about 4 hours straight. I love ocean sands, and we will certainly return there as long as we are able.

There was several things in the room that needed to get fixed. The whirlpool didn’t work by pushing the knob, you had to take knob off to push button to get it to work. The utensil drawer was off track or broke so when you opened the drawer out it would fall down. Coffee maker lid was broke so when you would pour coffee lid would pop off. Some of the dishes were chipped and the dishwasher should have instructions on it on how to use for this who may never had used one before. Light in bathroom in ceiling looked like it was coming down and we didn’t have a hair dryer in any of the drawers. Just letting them know so maybe they can try to get those things fixed :)

Our room was very nice and clean. Beautiful ocean view with our spacious balcony. I loved the one bedroom suite we booked. The kitchen was up to date with appliances and had everything we could need. Nice big tvs. We did have issues with Netflix and Hulu app on the bedroom tv but the living room tv worked great for those streaming services. We were able to watch live tv in the bedroom. All staff employees that we came in contact with were very sweet and attentive. Overall great location.

At times there were long waits for the elevator to come down. Other than that, it was great experience.

Everything was very accommodating. Places nearby. Lots of restaurants to choose from in the area. Hotel was awesome. Easy to find, Oceanfront. Balcony views are amazing! I will be rebooking anytime I visit Virginia Beach!!

Cleaningness of room was 8/10. Just a few dust balls in a few areas but other than that, everything was great! They give you utensils to wash dishes if you use/need them. Clean linens. Shout out to Kesha in the Linen department for taking outstanding care of us during our visit by making sure she provided clean & fresh towels.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Sands Resort. I really appreciate that they granted our request for connecting rooms, which were perfect for our group and gave us the ideal mix of space and convenience. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool—especially since it stayed open until 11 PM, giving us plenty of time to unwind. One of the highlights was definitely the in-room kitchen; being able to cook our own meals added such a nice, homey touch to the trip. The ocean view was absolutely stunning, and we were lucky enough to spot several dolphins during our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience that we’d happily repeat!

Well I paid $35.00 extra to get my room cleaned I had to empty my own trash and according to the pictures I seen on the website didn't mention that you can cook in the room I spent a lot of money on food also m wife is allergic to dust and there were dust balls in the corners of the room but I cleaned it up and everything was fine. Also I'm a veteran of the army and didn't offer no military discount but it's alright. I will be back hopefully soon like August sometime.

I like that it was very accessible to the beach and to other stores and restos! The hotel has a complete amenities which was awesome! I will surely be back again😍

It was that no one asks for cleaning, one day we cleaned the room and removed the trash, was looking where I can dump our trash while I was in the hallway a janitor pointed me to throw it outside and never ever offer to help. Cleaning is a self service as I consider it but this is just a small case coz I can really do it.

I liked the view and the convenience of the boardwalk and stores within walking distance. The room was clean and had everything necessary for cooking.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable maybe outdated. No broom to be able to sweep up leftover sand that my family and I brought in after being at the beach since no room service is provided. I was there 4 days so it made it uncomfortable to walk around on the sandy floor with out the option to be able to clean up.

I am an owner…the unit I stayed in for this trip was very nice. So much nicer than the unit I own on week 33. It is a small unit and has a ceiling fan. My unit for Week 33 is bigger , the front room gets very hot yet there is no ceiling fan, no pictures on the walls and the couch is worn and very uncomfortable to sleep on , you can feel the metal bar. It seems to me that ocean sands maintains the rooms they rent out much better then they do the units that their owners use. That part was very disappointing
