We had a wonderful stay at this hotel – it was absolutely perfect for us. We stayed in Room 106 on the ground floor, which had a convenient door right next to ours leading directly to the stairs and car park, making access super easy. Before booking, we saw reviews mentioning smoke from upper floors, so we requested a ground-floor room. To our pleasant surprise, the hotel is now completely non-smoking – fantastic news! The room was well-equipped with a fridge and a tea/coffee maker, which we appreciated. One of the highlights was stepping out onto our balcony and having the beach right there – such a treat! Just a 5-minute drive away, we discovered Harris Teeter, which has now become my favourite supermarket. It had everything we needed – fresh fruit, healthy snacks, great bakery items, and a lovely calm atmosphere. It was the perfect place to stock up for beach days or quick meals in the room. The hotel also has a pool, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, it was the ideal stay for us: beachfront, easy parking, smoke-free, close to great shopping, and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Highly Recommended Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My fiancé and I were extremely satisfied with our stay here. The hotel was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help with any concerns or questions I had. I was very pleased that they have a coffee machine in the lobby with different latte/coffee/cappuccino choices. Loved our little porch with a beach view. It was extremely convenient to pop out to the beach. We stayed on the first floor. Loved that they gave us the option for which floor we wanted. I also liked that they have a parking garage built into the hotel and that they lock it up at night for safety purposes. I’ve stayed at several different hotels at VA Beach throughout my life and this one was definitely my favorite. We will probably be staying here again the next time we go.

The view was amazing on both sides front and back this was my first time staying here and I'll definitely be staying again , the staff was nice ,love the pool and the price wasn't bad at all we really had a wonderful family vacation

They were out of Xtra beds and while checking in they couldn't find my reservations but the guy there was nice to get his boss and she help us with no problem and got us right , the beds were smaller then I thought but other then these minor things the stay was great

Views were AMAZING though and there is free drinks in the lobby 24/7. There is also vending machines down there as well. Across the street from bars, stores, and restaurants. Activities always within short walking distance. We even seen dolphins right from our balcony! I would for sure stay again. Our room was pretty clean! TV worked no problem as well. The customer service was also great! We asked for extra towels a couple of times and it was never any issue. Oh & the indoor pool wasn’t cloudy or anything - was super fun when it was raining outside!

The only minor concerns that we seen, but didn’t really affect us, was the balcony door knob was a bit loose - but the door still opened/shut. Also, the body wash in the shower was empty, but we always bring our own anyways! Lastly, it could get kinda warm in the hallways.

Staff was very friendly. We arrived early and they allowed us to park and change in the lobby so we could go on out on beach. They made us recommendations for eating and fun. The next day after check out, they were very friendly and still allowed us to park and enjoy the beach another day and then use lobby bathrooms to change before driving home. Room was clean. View perfect. Balcony was a very nice size. There was a nice free coffee machine in lobby.

The only thing I would say is Queen beds over double---the double beds were small to share with someone, but they were comfortable. There was enough lobby area where they could offer some sort of breakfast.

I loved that it was right in the middle of everything. The bed was comfy. Room was cool & relaxing. My husband loves coffee, so that was a plus.

I didn’t like that there was sooo much space under the door that if someone looks under my door they can see what’s in my room. (Had to keep it covered with a towel) I didn’t like that the customer service was not friendly at all. Basically had to beg for clean towels & rags. & even when we asked for them, the lady just walked off with no answer. No one comes to pick up trash. & I didn’t like that at check out time, a worker comes knocking on the door yelling check out!! Suppose I had a sleeping baby. Oh annndd Elevator door got stuck.

Our room was located right on beach which gave us a morning view of the Dolphins swimming past every Moring!

The pool was small and only allowed 11 people at a time. The hotel itself was dated and in need of upgrades. The parking garage was only a one way which was scary in the event that more the one person was trying to enter or exit at the same time.

Location, Location, Location. This was just like other resorts less than 100 yard from being on the sand and at the ocean. Being able to open balcony door to have waves to help sleep with the sound was amazing. Loved the quick walk to the beach & shopping/tourist stuff to do. Room very comfortable.

Some staff need to learn English.

Liked the higher floor view, less noise from the lower floors & street. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

The adjoining room blasting music up till 1am smelled like they were smoking weed as well. Could hear them talking like in the same room. The Door handle to the balcony was about shot so the wind noise blew through it a lot in bad weather. No working exhaust fan in the bathroom.

The location of the hotel is the highlight. It's right off the highway and almost directly at the center of the boardwalk.

Last time we were here, granted it was an Econolodge at the time, they had breakfast, but now they do not. I know this beforehand, but maybe adding breakfast back, even if it's very basic and requires no cooking (like cereal, toaster items, etc) would be appealing.
