Wonderful room, easy and free parking in garage connected to hotel. Nice sitting/lounging area downstairs, coffee/tea available all day. Nice clean little pool. Clean rooms.

Only 1 single restroom downstairs, which is a hassle during breakfast and check in & check out time. Check in time is quite late- 4pm. But then check out time is 11 am, so they really eat away at the time you can use the room. I expect more from a Marriott Hotel. Also parking is free, but only until 2pm on the day you leave, (which doesn't make sense since check in is so late, at 4pm). So that's also eating away at your time at the beach the last day, but not sure how much this parking time limit is enforced though.

Hotel was in the middle… it was close to everything Hotel was clean and kept up Service staff were friendly and helpful Continental bfast was abundant and had a variety of good items to select from Parking was easy and plentiful

AC in our room wasn’t working to well (wasn’t cooling enough at lowest setting) Front desk staff could have been a little more friendly and willing to speak (at checking-in; 4 were behind counter and saw us come in, we waited for a few seconds as we stood there bc no one said anything or offered to assist us, we had to walk over to the group and we had to say hello and one finally greeted us….and during evening/night when returning; staff didn’t greet ppl coming in … not a big deal just an observation)

The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The view was great! We liked being close to the beach and boardwalk.

Please more hooks and/or shelves!! This is a beach hotel...people are coming in and out from the beach/ocean. They are in bathing suits with beach towels. Also, lots of showers. There was only 1 hook in the room!!! There is nowhere to put wet clothes and towels!! Nowhere to put anything! Also there was no dresser, just a tiny end table-type thing with a few drawers. PLEASE more storage, shelves, and hooks!

Very clean place and room, large bathroom, nice large desk, comfy sofa. Parking is large with plenty of spaces, breakfast offers lots of choices and we loved the waffle maker. 24 hour coffee was a nice touch. Easily accessible beach with a life guard + swimming pool was an excellent combination for a summer vacation. I wish they had a restaurant too.

Only one thing is a deal breaker for visiting this hotel next time. The artificially capped Internet connection, so that you pay more. The other things would be minor inconveniences like very cold hallways, slow TV, cramped breakfast area, not very comfortable pillows and tiny fridge.

Very close to the ocean/ beach and in the middle of the street life that comes to Virginia Beach.

The cleaning crew was very nice but the times they went to clean was very random. Me and my wife did stay in the hotel room a decent amount during the day so it was harder for them to do any cleaning but would have liked if they had a certain time they where planning on cleaning the certain floor so we would know to stay out of there way. But other than that we tried keeping the room as clean as possible.

We were here for a race and the hotel was right at the finish line. We were able to walk back to shower and watch the rest of the participants finish from our balcony, which was awesome. The front staff were very helpful and provided us with lots of information. The breakfast was closing as we finished the race but the staff was kind enough to grab us a few items before everything was put away entirely.

There is only parking for one vehicle, so I had to pay to park elsewhere. Thankfully, they do inform you of this before you arrive so that you can be prepared.

We were satisfied, however we would prefer to be on a lower floor on our next visit. We did not interact much with staff but our check in was seamless and the location of the hotel met our needs to reach specific areas of the beach. Our next visit is (9/2 - 9/4/23) where we will request a lower floor.

I did not ask this bonus question from the survey "Bonus Question – You stated a preference during booking to have parking at no additional cost. Was Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront able to fulfill your request?" I asked for foam pillows and my request was accommodated.

Ithe hotel was on the Ocean front as advertised, staff was very nice, the breakfast was good, beds very comfortable, room was clean

The hotel had a smell, I don't know what it was but it wasn't a fresh smell....maybe carpet. The exercise room was tiny with little equipment

WE GOT TO WATCH THE CHRISTMAS PARADE AND THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE BREAKFAST WAS FANTASTIC AND THE PEOPLE THERE DID A GOOD JOB OF KEEPING THE FOOD FILLED AND CLEAN. THE POOL AND HOT TUB WAS RELAXING AND NICE. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. I LOVED THAT THERE WAS BODY WASH, SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER IN THE SHOWER. LOVED SITTING ON THE BALCONY AND WATCHING THE DOLPHINS AND THE OCEAN. WE ALSO LOVED SEEING THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ON THE BOARDWALK..

Second floor handicapped room really helped us. The view was fabulous. Wached sunrise every morning. Breakfast was terrific to start your day. Something for everyone.

Nothing you have control of; just the noise from the fighter jets going right overhead. However, whatever we need to keep our country safe is ok with us.
