We just returned from an incredible week-long stay at Aqua Vista Resort at 1719 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, and we can’t stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm hospitality, making us feel right at home. The resort’s prime location right on the beachfront offered stunning ocean views and easy access to the vibrant Virginia Beach boardwalk. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed with modern amenities that made our stay both comfortable and luxurious. The beds were incredibly cozy, ensuring we woke up refreshed each morning to enjoy the sunrise over the Atlantic. The resort’s facilities, including the pool and dining options, were top-notch, with every detail thoughtfully designed for guest enjoyment. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect, offering helpful recommendations for local attractions and dining. Whether we were lounging by the ocean or exploring nearby activities, Aqua Vista provided the ideal home base for an unforgettable trip. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! I liked the location of how the beach was just there and you didn’t have to go far. I also liked how easy it was to check in and out and also the hotel had a pool. The people were friendly and environment seemed very welcoming. That was my favorite part of being there. I can say that this place is really nice because it’s very chill and you could be late at night walking and police will not arrest you or anything.

I liked everything. It seemed like a good place. The pool could have been a little warmer but it didn’t bother me. Everything was good location, friendliness, easy process of check in and out.

I was looking for an affordable place to stay for the weekend, did not care for extra services or amenities since we were there for outside activities. This was perfect, precisely what i wanted, absolutely perfect location in the middle of everything. Beach and boardwalk are the back yard of this hotel, and the busy/active street has everything you need on the other side. Walk everywhere from hotel. Cars respect pedestrians. And we had a VERY CLEAN room and pool was squeaky clean. Parking could have been a challenge but the awesome staff had a perfect solution, for free. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Had a perfect weekend beach getaway with my kids, thank you so much!

After reading all of the reviews, we decided to pay a little more and get the superior oceanfront room. It was as clean as a beach hotel gets. It's an older hotel, so it presents as such, but for this price, it was a good value. Beds were comfortable and well-made. Balcony was small but big enough for us to sit outside and watch people go by. I'll stay here again because it is so close to the new Dome venue.

Parking is across the street, which is an inconvenience, but not a deal breaker. It could use some updating, but again, not a big deal. The room itself was in good condition.

What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the service—especially from Shiva at the front desk. From the moment I checked in, Shiva went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. He was incredibly professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area, offering great tips on local restaurants and attractions. Whenever I had a question or request, Shiva handled it with a smile and genuine care. His hospitality made a lasting impression, and he is a true asset to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic stay with outstanding customer service. I’ll definitely be back—and hope to see Shiva again on my next visit!

We had such a wonderful stay at Aqua Vista! From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming. A special thank you to Shiva, the manager at the front desk — he went above and beyond to help us and made our birthday celebration truly special. His kindness and support meant so much to us! Our room had an incredible ocean view!!! The hotel is right on the beach, just steps away, which made everything so convenient. On the first floor, we enjoyed some really good coffee — such a nice way to start the day. Both check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. I had booked this trip two months in advance, and everything went exactly as planned — no missing info, no confusion, just great service. Yes, the hotel and the rooms are a bit older, but they keep everything clean and tidy. Our room was fresh, the beds were made well, and we had all the essentials: towels, a microwave, a fridge, even an iron and a hairdryer. The TV had lots of channels, although you can’t connect your phone to it, but honestly, we had more than enough to watch. There’s also parking just across the street, reserved for hotel guests, and plenty of space. There’s a small 15-minute spot in front of the hotel too, just for quick check-in. All in all, we had a fantastic experience. Huge thanks again to Shiva, he truly made a difference. For the price we paid, this was one of the most affordable hotels in the area, and we still had such a joyful, relaxing stay. Would absolutely come back!

Priva (front desk) was excellent in going above and beyond to give us a room that met our needs. The facilities staff provided additional towels when requested. Our room was beachfront and on the first floor, which was helpful as we had a stroller.

The room was clean but dated, and a ceiling tile fell during our stay. The front desk was apologetic -- obviously not their fault. In staying on the first floor, prepare for noise as guests return to their rooms, even late at night.

Ruko TV. Able to watch my training on You Tube. The wi-fi was great. The hotel crew was amazing. The few items that were missing from my room ( ironing board and wash clothes) missing were provided quickly.

The entire block lost power for 3 hours. The local service crews , about 5 trucks, got the power back on. Cannot blame the hotel for that. Shit happens. The parking lot is only half a block away.

The location of the hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and nice as well. At 1st wasn't happy parking wasn't at hotel but it was across the street behind a restaurant so really wasn't bad. Hotel was quiet and peaceful, good vibes

Believe the mattresses need to be updated, they were sunken in a bit. All the staff was friendly except for one who worked overnight. Overall wasn't bad though I'd stay there again

Great location. The rooms were ready early..They put us on different floors but the lady after me was 2 doors down from me. They could have given us that room. They said no towels when we asked for extra. I waa still pleased. They did not give me a bill even though I asked at checkout. So I dont know if I was charged for wifi. I did call and ask for the password. The room was clean.
