The staff maintained the pool very well. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

You can tell that this hotel has been around for a long time. For my family it was a plus as we weren't worried that our youngest would ruin things but if you're looking for something upscale you might be disappointed.

The size of the room for the price is amazing. Having a kitchen was convenient. We also liked that the living room was separate from the bedroom. It was only a couple of blocks walk to the beach. The pool was great! Everything was pretty much clean and smelled clean.

The beds were uncomfortable for us, and we woke up with back pain and bodyaches each morning. Everything is outdated.

I loved the room 301! It was huge and spacious. The big bed had enough space for me and my husband. It was only like a 10min walk from the motel to the beach. :D I will definitely be back soon! The personal were really nice and let is check in early and the guy that checked us out was really helpful too! Me and my family enjoyed our stay and whenever we come to VA beach (5 years) we always stay here.

Everything went well except that room 302 had a bizarre sour smell but it wasn’t too strong and after a few minutes or so you wouldn’t notice it lol but i didn’t have any problems with the other 2 rooms and all 3 of them were very clean! :)

I loved everything about this hotel. We had rooms 510 and 511 as we had family in with us. The rooms were very clean and spacious and comfortable. The staff was awesome and made sure we didn't need anything. They were very accommodating to my mother in law, even when they were working on the elevator. It's right in the middle of everything and never really had to move our car, everything was walking distance. And the pool was great. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel everytime we come to VA beach!!!!

The room was good. Loved that it had an actual kitchen we could cook in! And had a table to sit down and eat at. Or play cards. Was able to hang out on the couch and watch tv. Felt more like being at home instead of a hotel.

I wish the kitchen had cookware and utensils. We did have to buy a few things for that. And possibly a few more hangers for the closet area. But wasn’t bad at all.

Location was perfect. Short walk to the beach. Staff went above and beyond during my stay. Wonderful place to stay.

the only thing I didn't like was that the pool was closed. it would've been nice to wind down in the pool after a day spent at the beach.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and easy to work with. The beds were insanely comfortable and we didn't upgrade rooms because they were so comfortable! The location is perfect and close to everything.

The building is old and could use some upgrades but nothing that would keep me from booking again.

Staff was incredibly nice. They made sure kids were following pool rules. Pool was clean. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. About 5-7 minute walk to beach and boardwalk. Great price considering the location.

Nice staffing, clean pool and area, rooms are comfy, was nice to have a bedroom and a living room and not pay an arm and a leg! Pricing was great.

Lights shut off on us twice. Beds were a little hard but still able to sleep in them!
