Super close to all needed amenities, shopping food highways. The staff was incredibly nice and professional breakfast was really good better than most hotel breakfast and offered so many options I really liked the yogurt bar! Fruit was very fresh!

The pool was awesome and super warm loved that but it’s really cold in the pool room when you get out of the pool would have been nice to have a little heat in there also the pool could have been a little cleaner.

Everyone was nice and extremely helpful! The awesome ladies that took care of the breakfast area was nice enough to bring us turkey sausage because we don't eat pork bacon. Very very sweet!!

The pool area smelled a little and they don't have microwaves in the room. You can use the microwaves in the breakfast area but only when breakfast isn't being served.

Location was good and convenient, comfortable beds, room size was ok, but smaller

Price was definitely too high. The breakfast was mediocre at best, they served powdered eggs which were cold, home fries were not cooked and cold, juice was watered down. I had better complementary or otherwise breakfast at many much cheaper places. The room was nice but not as nice as what I would expect from the Hyatt.

Liked everything

We skipped breakfast due to morning brunch somewhere else with friends. We "peaked in" to see what it was like, and it was not overwhelming. The room was nice and the extra space was very convenient... maybe one of the best room setups we've been in. The closet track needed attention, as well as the bathroom light and ironing board. None of this took too much away from our time at the Hyatt.

An early check in fee, when the room was available early, didn't seem to be the most hospitable thing to do. We drove through the night for an event that evening only to arrive at the Hyatt a couple hours early. The "customer will return to us" idea lost out to the idea of making a little more money even though there were rooms available early. Might have been a great idea to make money now, but you've lost us for the future.

Loved the staff… booking.com needs an option when traveling with service animals. The hotel did not receive my message I was traveling with her and I paid extra for a room I could not keep because it was a “ no pet floor” I was told the hotel refunded the extra amount. I will see when I check out. The staff is wonderful!

The staff was wonderful and helpful

My husband fell the first morning. He used the shower because it was so slippery. My advice would be to put some kind of texture bottom to the bath tub floor. He had a huge knot on his head and purple toes for a few days, but he would not let me report it.

Everything. Probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. We travel a lot to that area and that is our new place to stay. We are on a travel ball team so we are all now staying at the Hyatt in Chesapeake. Clean, big, everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. Very impressive.

This place was incredible. Perfect location next to shops, food, my favorite running gear store. The staff were consummate professionals and treated me like I was their most important customer. They explained everything thoroughly, and I felt like they really cared. Breakfast was great, my room was extremely clean, spacious and I felt at ease. I certainly felt like I got a great deal on my room.

The front desk and custodial staff are always so friendly. Rooms are consistently clean. We enjoy the couch sitting area and rotating TV. The beds are firm. Both a soft and firm pillow are provided for your preference. The Hyatt is our first choice when we’re in Chesapeake.
