Breakfast was good. Location was ideal for my needs. Desk clerk, Bryan was very helpful in answering my questions and went above my expectations to assist me with a minor problem. The Friday, 7/21, night clerk was very helpful as well but I don't remember her name.

There was a small amount of mildew on the caulking around the bathtub ledge. I also thought there should have been two separate clothes hanging bars in the wardrobe closet. These are minor details but I believe they're note worthy. I also thought the price was a bit high, but I haven't stayed in a hotel in a few years.

Breakfast is always amazing! This is being said for stays at multiple locations and states. The employees are always looking to help our needs. House keeping was helpful. The rooms were adequate for our needs.

The water from the shower tasted like saltwater.

The room was really nice. The bed was comfortable, and the size of the TV was great. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The fact that I was able to have dinner delivered to my room and the free breakfast added to my enjoyment!

I have no complaints. This hotel exceeded my expectations because it is over 20 years old.

Hampton inn Norfolk/Chesapeake Greenbrier area a great hotel to stay 20 minutes from the beach great price clean 10 silence 10 great service the receptionist kj very attentive and polite not to mention the cleaning lady Jenifer who besides being attentive has a great sense of humor I will definitely be back to stay here again.thank you to all the hotel employees.

William who checked us in, was very pleasant and made us feel welcomed. Our room had a really strong smell of bleach, which took awhile to get used to. The kids were able to swim in the pool for a bit and they really liked that.

Polite and helpful staff. Always greeted me with excellent customer service and a smile. They have washer and dryer on site.

Carpets in the room could use a good cleaning and air conditioning units had lots of dust on them.

I had a situation with Boking.com not letting the hotel know that I had changed my departure date. Management on Thanksgiving morning was very pleasant and helpful and helped me resolve the problem. Also the breakfast had hot items.

Always clean, always friendly staff. The hot breakfast is always a plus, you save money on having to go elsewhere for a wonderful hot breakfast. My wife and I stay here at every visit to Chesapeake, VA.

Breakfast buffet was always full and fresh. Karen took great care and made sure all the guests were greeted, had clean tables, cleared dishes. Very warm and friendly. In fact, all staff were like that! I've never stayed anywhere where all staff were so accommodating.

My room upon arrival smelled like cat pee. The man at the front desk apologized and gave us another room. I was happy with his quick resolve!

The location was convenient for the event I attended. I enjoyed the breakfast and cookies in the evening. The rate was pretty reasonable.

I didn’t know that the property was pet-friendly until after I got there. I definitely would not have picked it otherwise. I have had a bad experience with pet-friendly hotels in the past.
