The front desk staff was incredibly friendly when we arrived, provided each kid with a goodie bag and were accommodating with our parking needs. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and the hotel common areas were constantly being cleaned. I’d stay here again without question.

Literally my only issue was that we couldn’t extend our stay one more night at the front desk. They were able to see that our room was available, but we had to call the reservations number to extend the stay and even then we would have had to move rooms. We were told nothing was available though, even though the front desk could see that it was. Oh well! We’ll just have to stay longer if we go back.

We stayed in room # 1101 A I loved the staff. A text was provided to me with an option to request any type of service needed [towels, questions about how to use the WiFi and so on]. The response was quick. The parking was great.

Only one elevator was in use. The shower knob needs to be replaced, being it would not stop dripping. The toilet handle needs to be replaced, because when you flush, you will have to lift the handle back in the upward position to keep the water from constantly running. The ceiling near the sliding door was patched with a different color and the air conditioning was a little bent, also the balcony poles were rusted. They could use some paint. Overall it was a nice and I would surely come visit again.

I couldn't be happier with the 2 nights we stayed at the Boardwalk Resort and villas! The room was clean & up to date and had everything we needed. The amazing view was a huge bonus!! The location is perfect, near everything you could need and the words right on the beach mean exactly that!! Truly the best part was how welcoming and helpful the staff is. Victoria, especially, was as good as it gets! She is a gem and should be recognized for her work ethic and customer service! My little guy kept saying, "she should be your best friend" There is no question this is where we will stay everytime we go back to Virginia Beach!!

The front desk staff addressed me by first name, we felt super welcomed and like we were the only guests in the hotel (perhaps true for a Tuesday night?). Room upgrade is clutch, we also liked to have the restaurant downstairs for a late meal and the jacuzzi after a 26 miles hike.

the problem when traveling off season is that the will be doing maintenance in the building, we did not consider it a big deal but we can see how others might disagree.

They didn't have outdoor pool and ants were mating on beach in Ocean. They were all over the beach.

The property was excellent. Loved the room. Loved the location. Would definitely stay there again. The staff was professional. The room was fully stocked.

There was only one working elevator which was a pain. We spent a lot of time waiting on an elevator. The morning of departure when so many people were leaving with loaded carts, we had to wait for almost half an hour. Also, the hot tub had a large amount of brown scum all around the sides and brown chunks of froth floating in it.

There was a lovely member of the staff who was warm and welcoming to us and made us feel at home. The location was fabulous, especially with kids. Close to food, attractions and the beach. It was easy to get in and out quickly. The pool was wonderful. It was great to have a little kitchen. We were able to prepare our own meals or bring home carryout and watch the waves on the beach from our table in our room -- an absolute treat!

I don't have much to say that was bad. The facility shows some signs of age, but that would be expected due to its close proximity to the beach. There was a period when the door to the garage was broken, but we were able to access the parking through alternate doors.

The location and price couldn’t be beat. The staff was very nice and helpful, and on-site free parking was very appreciated. We were so happy with the spacious room and amenities. In fact, we loved it so much we added on a night to our trip!

Our first night was on the 3rd floor which had a door to the parking garage. The doors are heavy and close on their own, but they slam EVERY time. Normal room door usage in addition to that door slamming over and over is quite disruptive at night. The second night we were on the 7th floor, and that was not an issue at all.
