I love the family atmosphere. The staff is kind, the guests are nice. It's very family orientated, which we prefer. It's a good value for the room. The part of the ocean beach we like to go to is right across the boardwalk, super convenient. Not far from the concert venue, an easy walk. This was our second year. We intend on going next year.

I would prefer muffins during breakfast hour, there is only fruit, but that's not a deal breaker. Sometimes they let the coffee run out. If you want to be by the boardwalk bar action, it may be a little further than you'd like. I could see if you didn't like children, you may not like this.

Room met our expectactions, housekeeping staff were excellent, front desk folks personalble and informative. We did like having a restaurant in the building that served three meals a day. Walking distance to the pier, so getting there to fish was just a short stroll.

We weren't really prepared for the loud volume from the bar downstairs. Not really a dealbreaker for us, but some folks may have a problem with it. Parking was one and a half blocks away...didn't really care for that at all. Screws had come out of swing bar door latch, so it didn't provide much security (also looked like it had been moved a few times). Made you wonder why it had been torn out of the door at least twice before. Just saying! No one came to fix it after I reported it. Bathroom fan was loud!

We didn’t like the room we were given. We were on the first floor and the room was at the far end of the hotel with a set of doors you had to go thru. The hallway reeked of marijuana. The lock on the door was missing the striker plate so didn’t lock properly. We called and maintenance said they would have to order the part. The shower was an older one with a tub which was fine but it needed a mat as it was slippery. The carpet had sand in it and you had to wipe your feet off before getting into bed. The air conditioning unit was very loud. We asked to be moved to a new room the next day and they put us on the 8th floor which was much nicer and the balcony view overlooking the ocean and boardwalk was beautiful.

The parking was the worst, no one vacationing should have to park their car a half a block away from the hotel. There were some parking spaces on-site most of the time was used by staff. In my opinion , no employee with the exception of the Manager should be allowed to park on-site, for their customers to have to walk a half . The a.m. manager was very polite , some of the front desk staff require some customer service skills to move forward in the Hospitality field. I enjoyed the Ocean view room and the balcony was a plus. All the gift shops, restaurants, escape rooms, and attractions surrounding the hotel were great. This was my 1st visit to Vaginia Beach, I will most likely use this area as one of my vacation areas, to bring my grandchildren. They even had horseback rides on the beach.

The staff is amazing and very helpful. The location is excellent! A beach front hotel with plenty of restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Outdoor pool along with Virginia Beach within walking distance. Trolly pickup location is near hotel for another fun way to see the area. Clean room with a view of Virginia Beach! The pier is within walking distance and recommend eating at Ocean Eddies for some good food while visiting.

Very limited parking but a parking pass is given at time of check in. Just be prepared to walk back to hotel if Valet is not available. VERY slow flushing toilets-have to hold handle down to completely flush

The room was very spacious and the pool was nice and clean. We had to have wheelchair accessible room and it worked great. The location is very wheelchair friendly also. There’s a ramp down to the pool area and the restaurant was also wheelchair accessible. The food and view at the restaurant were amazing!

Parking was farther away than I’d prefer and very expensive if you have more than one car, only 1 pass for free parking per room.

The hotel was clean! Sparkling white sheets.

Maneuverability in the parking lot is atrocious! There should be a service elevator for employees. we shouldn't have to wait for 10 minutes on an elevator and it's extremely inconvenient when we are trying to be somewhere by a certain time and the elevator is already full with cleaning cart,etc. There needs to be an ice machine on every floor.

Great location right on the board walk. Our ocean view room was wonderful. Rooms were modern and well equipped with mini fridge and microwave. Nice free coffee service in the morning. Nice casual beach bar, "Calypso" right in the hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was free one block away, with valet available if desired.

Pool deck was a little small and did not have a view of the ocean due to a wall enclosing the pool.

I liked Natalie the desk clerk the convenience to the beach parking is terrible right at the hotel because it is such a small parking area otherwise you will have to park around the corner from the hotel that they reserved for the guest the restaurants were great scenery was great my only issue was my ocean view which was more of the rooftop of vents than ocean view and I wanted just ocean view so I could sit out on the balcony at night and just take in the beautiful view of the beach considering I was on vacation from my high stressful job however everything else was great!

Housekeeper taking all the towels even after I told her we were fine that morning left out came back all towels gone with no replace clean ones
