I used to be a Realtor from 1992 to 2008. I can appreciate the structure with all its run down from time and hurricanes it has seen. The construction is brick, the rooms inside are updated for function, not luxury. If you want luxury, do not book here. If you want value, this quaint old timer relic is a must. The price was low enough and the site was two blocks from the beach. It just felt like a win. Beds were so comfortable, and the room smelled so clean when we walked in. Check in felt like "they get me!". Yes its old. Its really old. And functional. And, two people on site 24/7. Yes it was loud with youth booking for their summer fun, and families with babies. You want more than a clean room and nice sleep comma like bed room with soft sheets, go somewhere else. Want to save and be in close enough to walk to where the beach vibe is, book this!

I could hear all the shenanigans on other rooms, but it was just young people having fun, mostly looked like university students, or families with babies crying. It felt bad to even feel upset about the noise...headphones with noise canceling and the nice beds,....goodness the bed!, that took care of it. Fun 3 nights in Ocean Front. Will repeat later this year.

Location was great able to walk to beach in minutes with out being directly on the strip.

The top blanket had burn holes and it's dated but for the price it's fine. I read previous reviews on a couple different websites so I brought a sheet and my own blankets and pillows and just laid the sheet over there blankets and slept.with our own bedding. The floor was weirdly slippery I think the cleaning chemicals they use need to be changed because with socks on I definitely almost got really hurt just walking. But I took the socks off and used water and there towel to wipe the.floors to make it better

Great location, can walk to the beach and many restaurants to avoid paying for parking. Friendly staff. Housekeeping came daily to ask for trash and dirty towels and offer new clean towels. Working fridge, microwave, and flatscreen TV. Typical heating/cooling unit that works quick!

It’s just an old building, nothing wrong with some character.

So dirty, cover with gunk, rust, insects, blood, urine smell!

Tina, the receptionist, was outstanding and very hospitable. She did a walk thru of the room to make sure everything was working properly. Great personality and extremely professional.

I liked the convenient location. We walked to the beach and dinner to not have to worry about parking as there was lines at the garages and it was pretty hectic.

The parking and motel don’t look the best but it was decent regarding the price and location (compared to other hotels in the area).

The staff was extremely helpful and dependable!

The lady who worked the desk was simply a sweetheart!!! She walked us to our room and was just very accommodating@

The atmosphere was incredibly laid back and relaxing and it was above and beyond what we were hoping for when we "ran away" to find the "break/distraction from life's stresses" that we were in desperate need of. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to in the future.

This is one of the few times I can honestly say that there was nothing I could even think of to improve upon. The lone staff member was unbelievably over-worked, but still managed to offer exceptional service. Additional staff would make her job more reasonable, but she's definitely pulling it off somehow.....
