Very nice clean room, beautiful view Was happily surprised to find kitchen supplies and dishes available to us. Bed was cozy and clean. They also had free laundry facilities if desired to use them.

Staff was unsure if pool was cleaned, or being cleaned. We asked if it was open and was told it might be. Pool had orange cones around it so decided not to use it. We were told we could go across the street to use another motel's pool but it was 46° out. I wasn't taking my baby out into the cold, across the street to swim. Only to have to come out, wet in the cold to return to our room.

Wonderful, quiet location near nice restaurants. Easy to walk the area. We enjoyed renting bikes as well. Nice balcony and great ocean view. My husband worked at the "kitchen" table for several days quite comfortably and really enjoyed that view, while I enjoyed the beach. (Haha!) The desk staff was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly, especially Jonathon. Breakfast was pretty good, though not well staffed when we were there.

Main complaints are fairly minor: cramped parking garage is best only for small cars- but there IS on-sight parking; kitchen space is tight with the standing counter parallel to the stove/sink/fridge- but there IS a kitchen space, and it's fairly well equipped; bathroom really tight for larger people. Very disappointed they advertise that they have beach chairs to lend, but there was only one low one that my small, short frame could be comfortable in, and it was usually checked out. The taller camp chairs just don't work for me. We would have brought our own but since they supposedly had them, we didn't. That should be an easy, inexpensive fix that would surely be much appreciated by guests.

Right on the beach!

The 1st floor through the 5 or 6 floor there is an open space between walking to your room and parking lot. We happened to be there when it was cold, so I froze every time I stepped out the door, to go swimming or anything within the property. Also we were on the 1st floor and people at night some how enjoyed sitting by the waterfall, but we heard everything they said in our room, it was after 10 pm and we were trying to get to sleep. The language was not appropriate for our grandson’s to hear either.

We had a great stay at the Oceanfront Hotel! The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the oceanfront view of the sunrise each morning was simply breathtaking. The hotel is located at the quiet end of the Virginia Beach boardwalk, away from the downtown noise, and we were very happy with this choice. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, which had all the utensils we needed. We were overall very satisfied with our experience and would definitely recommend the hotel — we look forward to coming back!

Two bags of coffee were provided for our three-night stay. we bought our coffee for that 3rd day The only downside was the couch in the living room, which had noticeable stains and definitely needs to be replaced.

The location was great and the rooms are spacious and well laid out

I stayed at Ocean Key Resort across the street last summer and they use smart TVs that allow guests to log into your their own streaming services instead of cable channels. One of the televisions in my room was not working the first night but was promptly replaced in the morning. The safe was not working and there was broken glass on the floor in the seating area and in the kitchen when I arrived and since there are no housekeeping services, I had to clean the mess. The coffee machine doesn't fit on the counter where the plug is as well. I think there is room for improvement in the services you offer guests but overall it was decent.

Perfect location on the boardwalk. Plenty of local food options within walking distance. Hotel staff was very receptive to our needs. Came in the off season so the rooftop pool/restaurant was closed but there is a small restaurant/bar outside on the 7th floor. Cant comment on the food offerings but it looks like a great place to be during warmer weather!

A little outdated. The electrical sockets were either loose or coming out of the wall completely. Bathroom setup was a little different - shower/large tub in plain view as you enter the room, but toilet was by itself in an impossibly tiny closet to the right of the entrance.

Oceanfront is always a plus! Staff friendly and courteous. Inside heated pool was a plus as well since our stay was in February.

The parking garage and kitchen area is entirely too small. Two people could not stand in the kitchen at the same time. There is a wall in front of the stove, basically as a counter top where the coffee maker is kept. If you stand in front of the stove and turn around the wall is directly right there. The parking garage is extremely tight as well. When going up to higher floors you have to be extremely careful not to hit anything, particularly the walls.

THE VIEW. Holy moly, the view. The floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ocean. It was shoulder season, so the bugs weren't an issue, and we were able to nap to the sound of the surf. Heavenly. On a practical level, the facilities are dated but obviously well taken care of and kept very clean. The pools, exercise room, and spas were all in good working order and well-kept. We would absolutely stay again. Close to several very nice restaurants at varying price points.

The bathtub/shower lacks privacy and is something of a challenge to enter and exit. Virginia beach itself can be loud even during of the off season due to flights out of the nearby military base (not a problem with the hotel, just something to know about the town).

Staff was always friendly and responsive. Replied to requests very quickly. Location was excellent and rooms were very clean and neat.

Beds weren't comfortable (too firm for us, but it could be a matter of preference). Parking garage is tight, especially when trying to turn corners to get up or down levels. Witnessed another customer with a long vehicle scrape up the side badly. So the facility should post a length warning along with the height warning. They do have overflow Parking available very close by in an open lot that worked well for our larger vehicle. The towel bar in the bathroom was loose from the wall and some outlets were loose as well or exposed (no cover) but since they were just bought out by Hilton I think they'll probably get some renovations done.
