Hotel was amazing it was very welcoming when you first enter the hotel smelled very clean and fresh. Front desk staff was excellent they explain everything to you to make sure you understood and explain how to get rewards points. the housekeeping staff was friendly and did excellent job with the rooms being extremely clean. The garage parking was awesome you could park right by the floor you was on. The breakfast in the morning was excellent,and the staff they kept the food coming you never had to ask for anything. I can only say one thing this hotel has my vote of Excellent I will stay here again.

Better pillows

Pet friendly with vinyl flooring. That makes me feel the room can really be cleaned between stays. Nice bathroom and counter space. Liked pillows.The bottled water and cookies were appreciated. Breakfast was good also. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Over all the Pros outweigh the Cons, except for the parking charge.

Door to balcony was almost impossible to open. Very hard to slide. Nothing to show how to connect to wifi or a channel guide for the TV. Pen and small pad of paper would be nice. It wasn't business so I didn't have supplies. Biggest issue was the charge for parking. Your ad stated Free Parking but that's not the case. $9.43 + tax per day during off-season peak is really unnecessary. PLUS it should be stated. I payed over $18 which I feel should be refunded. The parking flooring I was on wasn't even 25% full. Small night light would be great since hall and bathroom light very bright for sleeping. I hated leaving the bright bathroom light on all night. Cons are small EXCEPT FOR THE PARKING FEE which wasn't advertised.

The remodel was excellent. Very clean.

Paying for parking.

I have stayed here two other times. The renovations they did were much needed. The hotel is much nicer now than times before. I stay here because it’s pet friendly and right in the heart of things.

The only issue I had during our stay was the one staff member who knocked on my door and rudely asked “do you plan on leaving today?” At check in I asked the lady working the desk could I pay to do a later check out. She told me I could check out at 1pm instead of 11. It was Christmas morning. We would have stayed another day but my daughter and I both had to work the next morning and we live three hours away, so I just wanted a few extra hours. I didn’t care for her attitude when she was at my door. The rest of the staff was amazing.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Traveling solo I felt very safe due to a key needed at every entrance except the front desk area, and the location was convenient for local attractions, the boardwalk, fishing pier, food and shopping. I also took my pet, which I was concerned about house keeping coming in and him getting out. But you have a sign to put on your door to let them know and a sign if you don't want disturbed. I felt very confident and safe in leaving him in the room, and for potty breaks there was plenty of grass and a doggie station.

The only thing I didn't like was the main entrance. It was rather confusing at first and hard to see. The main entrance is kinda hidden by the parking garage with a very small sign and a very small parking lot. I was just expecting a big entrance where you could drive up to the front door in a big circle driveway lol.

The hotel is on the beach, and anyone who has been to Virginia Beach knows that it is an absolutely beautiful beach. It is set up very well. This hotel has been renovated recently. The rooms are very nice. They do allow pets. We will be coming back. I’ve seen some negative reviews, and I’m not sure if this is the hotel that they actually went to. There was always plenty of hot coffee. The staff was very friendly.

I have zero complaints about this property. We went from December 26 to December 29, 2024. The staff and facilities were wonderful.

It just was the perfect amount of everything. Clean establishment with a comfy room and not at all that noisy considering the lively area. The staff was polite and there were nice breakfast options with plenty of seating.

Seeing that this is a beach town, additional effort should be made to remove sand during housekeeping visits. I cleaned the majority of the sand from our beach visit myself -pre housekeeping. There was very little for the attendant to do, yet it was subpar at best. There was sand in corners and crevices- clearly not a thorough cleaning. Perhaps retraining or updating methods of cleaning are necessary.

Loved the ocean front view & balcony. The room was clean and spacious, with great lighting in the room and bathroom. I enjoyed having a fridge and microwave in the room. I also appreciated having parking at the hotel.

Housekeeping came while I was getting dressed. I asked them to come back later, but they never did, so my room had quite a bit of trash until the next day.. There was also a fire alarm prompting us to leave the building. I walked down 8 flights of stairs just to get downstairs to nothing actually happening and casually being told it was a false alarm.

It’s right on the beachfront and the view was extremely relaxing. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed making my own Belgian waffle. They also have fresh oatmeal, biscuits, country gravy, fruit, different juices, breads, yogurt with granola, fresh coffee. Just outstanding value for your money this time of year.

They are under construction on a few floors but it really didn’t affect my stay. I parked on the second floor and that’s where they’re renovating the whole floor so it was just a little creepy walking down the hall lol but it shouldn’t affect your stay either.

Beautiful view of the ocean! The room was a great size! The bed was comfy and the pillows were my favorite. The bathroom was a big size especially the shower. The AC/HEAT worked great. The tv had lots of channels.

The breakfast was 50/50 Unfortunately the reviews were misread. The eggs had no flavor and the other stuff I didn’t really like. The waffles were ok but needs more toppings and options.
