The room was as expected. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was quite small but had everything. I liked the mini fridge and coffee maker. I was impressed by the constant cleaning of the hallways etc.

The breakfast was ok but limited. The eggs were very runny. They had sausage, toast, cereal, juice and coffee. There were no pastries or bagels or muffins. One day they had apples but not the next day. More variety would be nice like pancakes or waffles. The breakfast room was very crowded with not enough tables. People were taking their food to their rooms to eat.

I enjoyed the comfort of the beds,and it was cleanly. It was close to the boardwalk and many shops around.

I didn’t like the fact that no where on the website did it say that the hotel was under renovation, so we were not able to get breakfast or use the gym, and the renovation noises were extremely loud in the stair well.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable.

The property was not located on the ocean it was across the street with limited view and no balcony. There was a person in the breakfast area asking for peoples room numbers which I felt was not appropriate. When I declined to give out this information he got irritated and insisted that he worked there and that this was common practice.

The property was not what I expected it to be as the pictures didn’t show much on the website. The facility was clean, the staff was very nice and friendly, walking distance to stores and restaurants, and the rooms were spacious. The photoshoot of the facility was taking place the day before i checked out so the website will be updated soon ☺️

Only thing was that my room phone was not working. My cellphone was on silent the entire vacation because I wanted to enjoy that time with my children. My mother was in a different hotel and decided to walk down to my hotel. She was trying to be let up and had the receptionist call my room but could not get ahold of me because the phone was not working. I did finally see the missed call on my cell and was able to let her up

Clean, easily accessible and spacious

No one told us when and where breakfast was o I didn't know about it until I loaded up to leave. The noise level was not great. The walls were thin so after 11 pm I kept hearing a lot of noise down the hall.

Extremely clean hotel and friendly staff. The continental breakfast was very very good with enough for everyone. It also had lots of options so everyone could choose what they wanted. I didn’t see butter for the toast though. Maybe it was out? Anyways. We had jelly on our toast which was very tasty also. Thanks for a great stay!!!!!

I didn’t like the shower. It had no lip on it to keep the water in so the entire floor got wet when taking a shower. Also we wished the pool was inside so we could have used it but it was still closed and outside.

Everything. I stayed at this location before when it was under the name Clarion and even then, the room, staff, price and location was super dope. Under this name and franchise it's so beautiful the blue(Azul) aesthetic touches to the room and building really help it stand out. The room was clean the housekeeping came DAILY and on time and were thorough and polite. The breakfast attendant has such a beautiful soul to her! She's dope and hard working. I am very pleased with my stay I actually decided to extend my stay from checking out Thursday to Saturday. That bed baby is COMFORTABLE!!!

The only thing I was unhappy about was the shower/tub. It doesn't drain quickly. I'm sure a pipe cleaning would fix that but it needs to be looked into because nobody wants to be standing in their own dirt while attempting to actually wash lol. Shower pressure was good just the draining needs work for sure. Did not take away from my amazing experience tho just added a bombastic side eye lol

It is very close to the beach and boardwalk, just one block away. We could see a tiny piece of ocean from our room, it was nice to see sun reflecting from the water in the early morning hours. Facility and rooms are very clean and updated. Bathroom is clean as well. Staff is very friendly and ready to assist. It’s a good option for a price. It also has a pool, we didn’t use it but it looked very well maintained and cleaned. It also close to cafe and grocery stores.

We expected more from breakfast, it was very disappointing, looked like packaged scrambled eggs and some oatmeal. Not sure who ate the oatmeal as it looked unappetising at all, and probably went to waste.

The room we had was a very nice size - had two queens and a sofa, and the beds were really really comfortable. I liked that they had overflow parking right beside the hotel and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. The elevator was slow, but almost all elevators are slow in Virginia Beach. I used the steps every time so I got some exercise in. Swimming pool was great - not crowded You have to let housekeeping know if you want clean towels.

Only thing negative was the slow elevator, but it’s really really busy weekend for sand soccer so I wouldn’t even say it was that bad.

Front desk staff was super nice, the room was pretty clean and the breakfast was a nice option. Not the classiest hotel I’ve ever seen but if you’re looking for something affordable and still pretty nice this place is good. Great location. I’d stay here again.

The walls seemed sort of thin, as I could hear the people next to me, those down the hall, and even people talking in the parking lot. I had a housekeeper that stood outside our room on the phone for about an hour that was extremely loud. Still not a dealbreaker for me though, it was bearable.
