Bar Mason staff & food was the highlight of our stay and it is in a good location suitable to us as a family!

We paid for a suite to accommodate three adults, sure someone had to sleep on the sofa which is expected but the sofa mattress was so uncomfortable my son could feel the springs digging in his back! We informed the hotel & asked them to simply put a mattress topper but they gave us instead a mattress protector! How much of an investment to have a few mattress toppers for people staying 8 nights!! Very disappointing

The hotel is very clean. I find it very quiet at night which makes it great for sleeping. There is a restaurant called Bar Mason that is inside the hotel next to the lobby. There is a large lounge area across the front-desk where you can sit down and chill. They provide free bottled water. There is a shopping plaza that is within a 5-minute walk from the hotel called the Campus Estates Shopping Centre where you can grab breakfast, lunch, or whatever else you need.

The Bar Mason restaurant offers a small selection of food and they are expensive. I don’t recommend eating here if you are travelling on a budget. The hotel does not provide free breakfast.

Cleanliness of the Hotel and surrounding front entry. I loved the cafe! And was exceptionally pleased, when I arrived, very early, waited for 4 hours until opened, but, I rested, as I was in a little bit of discomfort, travelling. Great breakie! was very filling and good! Easy access to the UofG buses, to travel downtown etc. Didn't realize there was a pool at the excercise centre, just across the parking lot, and very close to the UofG to explore as that area is so beautiful....

I did not like: That there wasn't any area(s), to use a hotel/pay for use computer/wi-fi for guests!!!! Most hotels I have stayed in for more than 4 days, each one had a least 2 for guests to use..... Thinking it is a Conference Center??? Maybe a few more 'sample' guest soaps, etc. Have my room prepared and ready, no matter WHAT my arrival time is. Isn't that the meaning of a RESERVATION??!! I had to wait an extra 4+hours, before I could unwind and relax... 😒.

Food was great.

Room - we were given a room with 1 king bed and a pull-out sofa for 2 adults and a teenager. The mattress on the pull-out bed was so thin that the springs on the bed poked from under the mattress. We ended up putting the mattress on the floor. So, we paid for a room to end up having my teen sleep on the floor for a week.

Beautiful, gorgeous building, very elegant, spacious and attractive. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly appointed room, two room bathroom was a delight, with lots of mirrors. Quiet building, nice views from upper stories.

Breakfast not included, which is a little surprising, but easy to use mini fridge to have your own breakfast in the room.

The staff was kind and helpful. The place was clean and bright. The room was comfortable.

I thought that the price was extremely high. We received no Marriott rewards because we used Booking. Com, but for 5 nights, we should have received some acknowledgement of our stay. We also come annually, so some consideration of our being regular customers would be appreciated.

in lobby asked for a coffee at 12:10 pm person said ok begrudgingly and when I asked for a yogurt gave me a stern lecture how the close at 12 noon on Sundays after I just paid for 2 nights, food etc and had all our students stay at the delta

The hotel was perfect for what I needed. Location, facilities, cleanliness, the room and the beds were all perfect.

The only negative thing for me was the fact the airco or ventilation unit of the restaurant was quite noisy. You have a constant zooming sound in the room. However after a few minutes, I was ok with it otherwise I would have asked for another room. Still something to mention, because maybe it can be improved and maybe some people will not get used to it.

The hotel is conveniently located near the University of Guelph, which is our main purpose of travel. The hotel offers a sense of antique, but its facilities are in good condition. Hotel staffs are very helpful when we need to store our luggage and also to use microwave.

The hotel room shown on booking.com for 4 persons with sofa bed but the sofa bed wasn't comfortable at all. Also there was no AC for the sofa bed (sitting room).
