Small, beach front boutique resort (about 20 rooms plus 2 private beach front cottages). Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Afghan arranged for an addition lamp and charger adapter, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The outdoor bathroom is huge and spa-like!! Free delicious breakfast and bikes. There are no cars, so super easy to bike everywhere. Excellent snorkelling right in front of the beach. Tons of turtles. Bring water shoes as there is quite a bit of corral on the beach and in the water, but otherwise GORGEOUS water!! About 100 meters from the “nest” a underwater art installation also a must! The staff are so gracious, welcoming, and hospitable. Everyone greets you with a big beautiful smile and genuine care. The restaurant is AMAZING, we ate here every night and Woody provided excellent, professional and fun service. All items we ordered were delicious so you won’t go wrong with anything! PLEASE, be a good GLOBAL traveller and ambassador from wherever you hail from. The islands have been through tough times, hurricanes and Covid lock down and yet the people are so welcoming. PLEASE show your gratitude and tip GENEROUSLY….they deserve it!!!

The property is right on the beach. We walked right out and snorkeled with turtles (we saw at least 2 turtles every time we went into the water!). For snorkelers, the water clarity comes and goes but there are always clear areas to snorkel in. Breakfast and lunch were really good with lots of choices. In the evenings, we walked down the beach and ate at other places. The staff was extremely friendly and personable. Purnam was the best! There are no cars on the island so the adventure begins from when you arrive at the ferry dock. We took a horse cart across the island to the resort. We felt very safe and everyone we met were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a huge outdoor shower.

We stayed for 4 nights at Mahamaya two families with children. The hotel is located at a perfect beach in Meno, which we later noticed that is the best sea in all Gili Islands. Water is great and turtles are all around, just in front of the hotel. Hotel provides free snorkeling equipments, and equipment quality is very good. Hotel restaurant is fine, but the location also allows to explore other cafes and restaurants nearby

The breakfast options were poor, even a simple fried egg is extra. The coffee is not good, we really missed a good coffee.

What a beautiful place to spend NYE on our honeymoon. All of the staff was so welcoming and helpful. They made sure that we always were happy and satisfied during our stay. The accommodations were beautiful. We stayed in the Cookie Villa with the beachfront view and it was spectacular. The location on the island was top tier and we could use snorkel gear provided by the hotel to go right out front and swim with turtles. The breakfast was great with a buffet and made to order option for eggs and fresh fruit juice. The pools were very well maintained and it was a nice touch to have shade over them while the sun was at its hottest. It was great to have excursions planned and coordinated through the resort. We had a blast snorkeling with a private guide. It was very convenient getting picked up in front of the resort. NYE dinner was delicious and very special to have on the beach while watching fireworks and a fire dancer with live music, such a treat. Thank you for an extra special experience on Gili Meno for our honeymoon.

The hotel Mahamaya is magnificent, with a wonderfull location to see the sunrise and also the sunset. In the south part of the island, it’s right in front of Sea Turtles Sanctuary. The staff at Gili Meno’s make us feel at home and are always taking care of the guests. The hotel has also a restaurant with very good food. The breakfast is also a plus, with a large variety of quality food. The hotel provides customers with free snorkeling equipment and canoeing boats. Loved everything about our stay at Mahamaya. It was the perfect place to relax & enjoy the beautiful beach. We swam with turtles right in front of the hotel which was amazing to see. The staff here are fantastic, so friendly & attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Really did not want to leave. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Gilli menu to stay here. It’s paradise.

Everything was perfect.

We were accommodated in a villa on the beach, the bathroom was nice and spacious, everything was clean, hot and fresh water for showering which is not common on the island. Breakfast was rich with a lot of choice. Possibility to rent a kayak with a glass bottom. We ate outside the resort so I can't rate the other meals. Salt water pool available. Pleasant and kind staff.

I deduct a point for the wifi, which sometimes didn't work at all.

Nice location at the beach, close to a dive shop,, very kind and helpful staff, comfortable beds, well sized room and bathroom.

WiFi is anything but quick or reliable - complete disaster, especially having had to work from there (their description says high speed internet ... maybe for 1995, but not 2024). Restaurant overpriced and average at best. Room furniture very dated. You will hear music from Gili T until 4am, but that is not hotel's fault or stg they can change.

It was simply amazing! Everything was just perfect. The location, great staff, beautiful hotel, so jummy breakfast and all this right at the beach. The room is really nice and big, as well the bathroom. Everything was so clean and the staff made an amazing job. They were so friendly and very helpful with everything. The breakfast was included and it was delicious and great! About the location we don’t have to talk about, it was simply stunning, right at the beach. The water is so nice, turquoise and it’s very easy to swim there and snorkeling as well. We saw many turtles right in front of our hotel beach. We really had a great and amazing stay there and we would definitely come back!

Nothing, everything was amazing. Just the Wifi was running very slow and bad from time to time. But that was the only thing.

since the island is small, everything is very close. It takes 5-7 minutes by horse from the port to the hotel. the staff is very friendly and caring. they helped and organized a snorkeling boat, very cozy rooms, a quiet homely atmosphere. the hotel has its own bicycles for walking around the island, thermal bottles to take water with you, breakfasts and lunches with a view of the ocean, by the way, it is very easy to see turtles on the shore, as well as beautiful sunsets and all this in one place. amazing cuisine, the most delicious on the island. Definitely come back here again.
