Room was spacious, bed was extremely comfortable, I said this place is called drift because as soon as you lay down you drift to sleep immediately on that bed! room and entire hotel is aesthetically pleasing. The location is soo good! The pool was very dreamy to swim in. The restaurant and bar are excellent! The price is great! I needed a mini fridge for my insulin and they were able to accommodate me. I liked having a code for doors instead of a key. The only thing we didn’t like was Thursday art walk and music till 330 am to follow that and again on Friday night. It probably happens on Saturday night as well but we didn’t stay a Saturday night. It is so loud no earplugs will block it at all! The other nights nighttime noise didn’t bother us- we even slept with the window open. But that pounding bass till 330 was lil rough. I felt bad for the whole town having to hear this, it’s way too loud. The coffee and mezcal drinks are so good at drift. Every meal I ordered was also delicious! I’d stay here again just I’d try to avoid Thur-sat

Loved the quietness and the room's comfortable austerity. The air conditioning was great considering the incredibly hot, humid weather that was happening at the time. The pool was perfect for me to cool off in and get a bit of exercise in. Almost no one else used it, so it was great. Loved the location, perfect for good eating and art galleries all within walking distance even in extreme heat.

I could have used a drawer. I also like to keep my drapes open for light, but that was impossible being on the first floor with people walking by and being able to look right into my room. Not terrible just when I didn't want to be dressed but still see out.

Security and gated . Room service and staff was very professional and attended to their customers needs and concerns.

Wish It was more pavement to make it easier to transport luggage to and from hotel. Also more accessible ways other than stairs to get to certain rooms. Got to take handicap individuals who not physically able or utilized a wheelchair need a means to getting onto the property and to their rooms.

Overall, a really awesome property! The hotel is beautifully designed and considered, and the price point was great for what you are getting. The location right in town was also super convenient.

My ONLY complaint is that it can be very noisy. We were there at the beginning of the week, so this was not an issue every night, but some of the local bars play extremely loud music late at night, so you are subjected to the thump thump base next door. We're personally used to some noise, so we were still able to sleep, but it would be a problem for someone who is noise sensitive.

Jonathan and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The vibe and overall aesthetic of the property is beautiful and calming. The food was convenient, casual and the shrimp tacos were tasty. The drinks were well priced and the bar options are extensive. It seemed to be in a more touristy part of the city, but it was in walking distance to tourist shops and some restaurants. The pool was small but there was always pool noodles, towels and seating cushions within close reach.

The text responses were a little sporadic, they had a slow down with the water (I think this was a city problem), the rooms are a little inconsistent (our group of 8 had 4 rooms total and all were different), the Wi-Fi made you re-log in consistently. If you’re on the B side of the property you’ll probably hear the loud loud music at night on the weekends from the bar across the street. There’s also limited surface space within the rooms, they could benefit from a side table or two.

The hotel itself is really lovely and beautifully styled, beautiful room and great location. Lovely welcome drink on arrival, the interiors were beautiful and little touches like dressing gowns/hats etc for use were really nice. The staff were super friendly throughout and very helpful when things went wrong

Unfortunately due to a technical error the hotel was overbooked for half of our stay but the staff were really accommodating and apologised and found us somewhere else to stay compensating us for the inconvenience. It's such a shame as we loved the hotel. The only negatives were the very noisy bar across the street (only a problem if you're a light sleeper like me it doesn help), also during 3 days we did stay we didn't receieve cleaners at all so the towels werent replaced or bed made.

Overall this spot was great. The staff at Drift are so welcoming and knowledgable about what beaches to visit, what restaurants to go to, etc. The welcome drink when we arrived was a nice added touch, and we enjoyed having the bar on site. It was a great way to kick off the night, before heading out! One thing to make note of, there is a club directly across the street. We didn't mind the noise at all, but it is loud. So if you are someone who is sensitive to noise, this may not be the spot for you.

We loved the rooms BUT the shower/baths in the middle of the room aren't very functional. Such a cool design but water goes everywhere when you shower. This was the only downfall of having a room with one of the baths/showers in the middle. If you do still wanna have one of the rooms with that option, just put towels down.

It’s beautiful

I paid for a king bed and got a matrimonial. The bathtub shower was not good for two friends due to lack of privacy. There is not a good space outside for sitting around visiting. No parkimg. You have is a late checkout then locked us out. It would be nice to have two beds in a room.

Warmly greeted upon arrival. Luggage taken to my room up 2 flights of stairs. Complementary drink delicious. Got great advice on local taco house - nearby and very good. Morning coffee great. Would stay here again - close to everything yet very quiet. Loved the decor. Felt at home. Thanks to all the friendly helpful staff.

Shower into tub felt a bit too rustic (just needed more pressure) - the shower over tub looked cool, but wasn’t very functional.
