Location is excellent for access to Potsdam, which is what we wanted. Berlin centre is about 30-40 mins away. Room clean, comfortable, well appointed Breakfast is really good. Great mix of fruits, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals, breads etc. Good coffee too. Wifi, TV, etc., all worked fine We had a problem with our bill (we got charged twice for our stay). We had to leave at 2am to get a train to the airport, and we asked them to order a taxi the night before. This was not done. The night porter was v helpful & ordered a taxi on his personal uber, which we reimbursed him for.

Hotel was clean and modern. Wifi was good. Very good breakfast - scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon (extremenly good) and sausages, grilled tomatoes etc. Variety of cheeses, hams etc. Pastries and sweets. Room is modern, has kettle, comfy bed and armchair, small refrigerator. The location was central, park Sanssouci was almost next to hotel, also old town and main pedestrian street. Lot of restaurants for any taste.

There was not desk in the hotel room, so not possible to work over there.

During my previous guided tour of Postdam I spotted the Maxx Hotel and loved both its location (just off Luizen Platz) and appearance. When I stayed, I enjoyed the friendly service and the moderate price.

Seemingly, the Maxx is a nice hotel. HOWEVER, it felt cheap... Might be the room floorplan, that reminded me fo a US 2* Motel, or - more likely the choice of materials: laminated parquet floor (i.e. plastics), formica finished furniture (again = plastics) and limited toiletries. Over all I got a cheap feeling, but it might just be me...

Staff were very helpful. We unexpectedly were able to check in early, having arrived that morning from Australia. Breakfast was very nice. Room great. Central location. Price much less expensive than Berlin and Pottsdam is a beautiful place to visit.

Room slightly noisy, due to outside activity - maintenance or rubbish truck operations etc, but with earplugs I didn't notice anything and the family weren't bothered by it. (I'm very noise sensitive)

Really nice place to stay at. The room vas tidy, comfortable and overall very pleasant. Very nice location, 2 min walk from the Potsdam Brandenburg gate and a bus stop. The bed had a nice elevation higher from the ground, thanks to a big mattress, which was very nice and will serve well to people who might have back problems. Everything necessary was provided within the hotel room with plenty of towels. The staff were also friendly and the breakfast was also good, with a large variety of desserts.

Perfect location! Easy to get to everything. And, the hotel provided vouchers for both of us through H-Rewards that allowed us to travel on U-Bahn, S-bahn and streetcars. A big help! Out of the side door was a trail to take you directly to the Sanssouci Palace! A/C in room, elevator and outside park like area for drinks and rest. We did not purchase breakfast but the buffet looked well stocked and had expected items. Would definitely recommend!

It is an old building, thus things do not shine the way as they do in some newer ones. Yet for me it was charming throughout, as in every place it seems that the customer has been thought of.

the room was clean and cozy and the breakfast was rich and of relatively good quality. Overall the stay in the hotel was more than satisfactory and the hotel is close to shopping areas.

The room was a lot smaller than the one that was offered in Booking. The bed was also hard, which is not good for people with back issues. For anyone else there should be no problem staying there,

The hotel was located right in between the old city and the palace gardens, two of the places to visit in Potsdam, and it was walking distance to both of these attractions. The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional, the breakfast was rich, and the room was very clean. I definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was wonderful so many choices, the staff were excellent and helpful with the parking gate.

The parking gate was an issue for ourselves and many others. Wasting staff time running down the stairs to assist. While it is great to have parking on site, something needs to be improved with the lights on the parking gate when leaving.
