Great shuttle service to bus stations and main beach. Good to be able to have code to get into dorm room area without having a phone. As I was a lot older I really appreciated both the staff and others staying there accepting me and were happy to talk to me or leave me be. Loved the free pancake breakfast and bbq and the free clothing to take and leave something as well. Room was clean and everyone I met was friendly and tried to be as quiet as possible. Special request for bottom bunk was given along with a card with my name on it and smiley face when I arrived which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely like to stay again should I venture that way again.

Cold outside area in winter but would be great in summer.

We had a really great stay here. The facilities were amazing and the room was really comfortable. The hostel puts on so many things during the week, it was so nice to have those things to get to know people and be part of the community there. The breakfast was such a great touch to have and the kitchen facilities were amazing. The pool was lovely and the tv room was great too. The bathroom and shower in our room were really great too. Our room was ever so slightly damp, I’d say this is just what happens during winter, but it might be something to get something to sort that. This was a very very minor thing though.

There really wasn’t anything to dislike about the property. The only thing I would say is that the long term stayers and some staff were quite cliquey and it made us feel slightly uncomfortable as a couple travelling. Sometimes they would take over the kitchen or move our stuff without asking to sit next to each other which was awkward. This is absolutely of no fault of the hostel though, and the majority of the hostel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Beds are comfortable, facilities great. There are gatherings every evening. The dog Spider is a cutie

The shuttle to the main beach could run more often On my first 2 nights I stayed in a 4 beds dorm and there were 2 men, one in his 50s and the other one in his 70s. As a solo female traveler I didn't feel safe. Asked to reception if they had a different room but they were fully booked that night so I had to sleep in that room. The next day I moved to a female dorm. But there should be an age limit and the administration should have that into consideration, it shouldn't be acceptable to have old men in the rooms with young females!

The communication, although a little last minute, was excellent and they were very accommodating with my late arrival and early departure. Stayed there to do the Noosa triathlon and they ensured that the kitchen would be open extra early for me on the morning of which was super helpful. It is also directly over the road from a bus stop and where a shuttle bus for the event was running. Although I didn't take advantage of them the communal facilities looked very comfortable and inviting, a very pleasant atmosphere. Also, Spider the Dog is the best breakfast and lunch companion in the work world...

The only thing was I didn't receive confirmation of my late check-in and the procedure for that until 5pm on the evening I was arriving, but once it did arrive it was very clear and simple. Otherwise nothing to not like in my short stay.

The best hostel we’ve done in Australia! The staff are amazing and helpful, everyone has a smile and it feels like they really care about their guests. The kitchen is well equipped, clean and a decent size for the amount of people staying there. The pool area is lovely and the events put on every night are a great way to meet people. Plus there are so many free things on offer!! Free shuttle to town/beach (although the public buses are also only 50 cents at the moment so getting around isn’t an issue at all!), free breakfast, free events and our favourite, free surfboards.

Perfect stay 10/10 Staff, Facilities, Comfy, Clean Quiet during night

Stayed in a 4 bed, comfy beds (bit creaky, no curtains) and got 2 pillows LUXURY. Decent bathroom and big shower. Staff so nice!!!! Pool was nice too. Best thing is all the free food, had hot dogs one night and then nachos, so much free stuff it’s amazing See everyone moaning about the distance to walk, it’s 20 mins to Junction or 15 mins to sunshine beach, I liked having the flexibility to be able to walk places but yes if you want to be in Noosa Heads and not leave don’t stay here

Nice room and cummunal kitchen. I liked that there was a small shelf and power outlet by the bed. Good, sturdy bunk beds and I really liked the curtains to provide you with some privacy and ensure you wouldn't be disturbed if someone turned on the light. I asked if I could get a bottom bunk, which they reserved for me for which I am very greatful. While it was mostly a youth hostel they thankfully turned down/off the music no later than 10.30 pm. + for Spider, the dog, whose purpose in life is to play fetch + for towel, hair dryer and hair straightener + for free breakfrast and the mostly free evening activities + for pick-up service

I do not like rainfall shower heads: being fixated it makes it harder to wash your lower body and their size reduce the water pressure so it takes longer to wash out shampoo from your hair - this becomes especially annoying when there is a sticker on the wall of the bathroom asking you to limit your shower to 5 minutes.

The staff were super friendly and helpful (especially Spider the dog), and the free shuttle from the bus stop was appreciated. The communal area was nice and the pool was nice.

Quite expensive for a hostel, but they all are in Noosa so can’t complain too much. The aircon in my room was a bit temperamental and made a loud noise when it did work, so not good for sleeping. Given how difficult it is to buy a bus ticket in Noosa, extra shuttle buses would be appreciated (at least to the junction where you can buy a ticket)

The bed was quite shaky, so any movement from the top bunk could be felt by the person below. Some bathrooms (sinks) were in the open hallway.
