Friendly and very helpful staff 10 out of 10, even late at night they respond quickly to your messages. Plus but also minus near the train station, minus that you can hear it at night plus that you can leave your car and travel by train to big cities without stress. The vending machines inside the hostel are very convenient.Free parking, it was difficult to find it at night the first time, but the friendly staff helped me at night. If it's not bad liva and the sound of trains at night, everything is fine here. I recommend it.Near several cities 🙂👍🏻👍🏻
The bed needs to be replaced, any small movement makes a big noise. You try not to move at night because you know the sound will wake you up. The trains are very loud, there is no insulation in the windows. The AC is not working, on a hot day it blows very warm air, it's more like a heater

The pillow was very comfortable for me. The mattress was decent. The air-conditioning unit is available and working properly. Shower shampoo and hand wash provided, towels provided. The kitchen has a few associated to it however the microwave is free and vending machines exist 24 hours Staff super friendly and understanding and helpful during out of hours. They solved a simple silly mistake I made with the A/C
This is not a hostel in any way, I would recommend owners change the name, it's unfortunately not even a hybrid, it's purely a hotel, no chill rooms available or gathering to make it more sociable or dorms exist. The kitchen is pay per use (5 EUR) To the center (20min walk). to the train station (15 min walk) lack of food options nearby, all were closed on a Tuesday probably due to the holiday season.

Check in information was comprehensive with photos to clarify. Room was modern (bathroom a bit dated but functional). Easy access to the University campus only a 8 minute walk away. Train station was close enough although with a lot of luggage I'd recommend a taxi. Many cafes in the area to get breakfast or dinner easily. Staff were friendly and helpful.
At times there was a lingering smell in the bathroom but this was tolerable and not persistent. Shower's water temperature inconsistent (kept going cold). The ironing board is a mini tabletop board which was difficult to use to iron dress shirts. Walls thin so could hear conversations and noise from other rooms.

Excellent location in downtown Pavia. Parking was easy. A neat little café is just downstairs for a gorgeously stereotypical Italian experience. I never actually met the staff, as I arrived late night, but I had no trouble finding the key and getting inside. The room was pristine clean, very silent, with proper air conditioning.
Just one thing. This is a pet friendly place, and indeed, it was very friendly to my dog! However, there is a steel ramp at the entrance for wheelchairs, which is made of a steel mesh. My dog's claw got caught in it, which was very dangerous! Luckily he's a chill old dog, who isn't moving quickly, but a younger pooch could easily rip its claw out as it's trying to prance, or just by panicking. Please cover this up!

So many things. But warning… the entrance may mislead you at first! It’s a bit low key… & not fancy. But the secrets of a great stay lay behind this veil. Great friendly staff. Absolutely beautiful renovated rooms with no expense spared in gorgeous marble, huge hand basin etc etc. Very clean & comfortable. For once, someone actually thought about lighting… it’s bright & cheerful. The host family are amazing people… lots of artistic talent & passions for life. The great bonus is that they have a bar/café/restaurant downstairs from the hotel… with a lovely atmosphere. For me, it was a great location because it was only a 20 minute walk from the Visconti castello & the magical historical area… with the university well worth a quick walk around… & squares lined with cafes, restaurants, & stores. I was able to leave my car parked safely after checking out, so I could walk into town… & they have an immaculate bathroom to use when you get back, before heading on your way.
The street seems a bit gloomy upon arrival… but this is just northern Italian urbanism! Everything else makes up for it… so don’t be put off! (Yes, I’m spoiled by traveling through France!)

This was a really good price, excellent value for the facilities, and efficiently run. It's 10 to 15 minutes from the train station - turn left at the entrance and keep left for around 10 minutes, over side turnings and near a roundabout, always with the railway lines on your left, and eventually you'll come to Via Lombroso. There are 2 buildings, both on the left hand side, and the reception is in the 2nd one (they will send you a message about all this). It's not what we would call a hostel in the UK, it's a hotel. The room was fine, and WiFi was very good

The staff were professional and helpful. The room was heated. The hotel had a comfortable common lounge at the ground floor in case you are visited by friends/family. The amenities - iron box, washing machine and a place to buy snacks were great. The outside green area was inviting. The ambience was great. Affordable hotel and near the train station. My properties were safe in the room even when I left to go to the city. The facility is near the city center. Warm shower. Plenty of water.

The facility was very clean, everything worked and it seemed well maintained. I was walking on the Via Francigena, decided to rest a few days and was happy to find friendly, helpful staff and a nice laundry facility. There had been a few negative reviews (as well as many positive ones) so I was prepared there might be “issues” but I found the property very good and a great value, particularly on the weekend when prices of other properties in Pavia went way up. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful.
Nothing not to like. A great value and a pleasant room.

The room was clean and very roomy. Checkin and checkout was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. A great night layover between Milan and Genoa.
It was quite a hike from the train station. Not convenient to restaurants or markets. Had to go to bed without dinner because I was too tired to walk 20 minutes to food. Didn't pass any cafes on way to station the next morning so no breakfast either. So be sure to bring food with you. The wifi signal was not strong and had to use data which also wasn't great.

We were in 4-person room and it was good. The room was big and clean. Everything in this hotel is GOOD for this price. I would recommend this hotel for business and tourism trips. There is kitchen, laundry and lounge zone at ground floor. In our room we had bathroom. The personal rly kind, the process of reservation and check-in was also really easy.
We stayed in hotel for 1 week. During this week there was one cleaning day. After this cleaning we found out that our things in room were dislocated and dropped on the ground. It was not critical, because everything else was clean and nice, but this is only one negative thing I could remember.
