Alright so it is a story of 3 lads traveling around Europe on bike. This was the absolute cheapest, most budget accommodation on our trip. The moment we arrived we were greeted by this very nice bloke at the reception. He was the most honnest receptionist I have ever met. When we asked him if we can chain our bikes outside the hotel, he was like "keep them in your room, trust me, its better for you! Don't worry about the bedsheets! ". The moment we opened the room door we were filled with joy and laughter. It's the perfect size - just enough space for 3 lads and 3 bikes. It was like playing tetris! The light were working, and so was the shower. The toilet flush had an intelligent "clening cycle " mode that made it super clean. The beds were so comfy and cozy, especially when squeezed by our own bikes. I swear that is where we met the only frenchies that speak English. It's close to a awesome buffet where you can have a great dinner. Also, the waitress there speaks English as well! The people there were very nice. The was a constant presence of dodgy looking men just chilling outside the rooms. Which is great, because they deterred crime in the region! I swear our bikes were not safer anywhere else on our trip! They were also very nice and quiet, won't disturb you in the evening hours (or any hours). We affectionately call them "The Boys". In the morning there is this very nice and kind and polite lady at the reception, but she is only in the morning for a good reason! In conclusion, I probably would not take a girl to this place, as you will hardly impress her. However, If you are a bunch of lads on a trip around Europe just looking to have fun, then this is The ABSOLUTE BEST accommodation that you can find anywhere in the western world!!!!!! We have not had that much fun ever since Brexit! (no honnestly guys, we really enjoyed it! )
We didn't get to drink with the boys

price appropriate to the quality, cleanliness, comfortable bed, I read about the lack of cleanliness and worms in the rooms, to tell you the truth, I was very afraid of this stay but upon arrival I was very positively surprised by the cleanliness and smell in the room a great plus
no elevator (but it's a 1 star hotel so you can't have everything) and breakfast, very little choice and very little space for so many guests

Good value for money for one night stay. Breakfast was ok. A bit of neighbouring noise managed with earplugs.
Was charged twice for the breakfast during check in. When I pointed this out, I was told "that's how it should be". Had to look up my booking.com confirmation and argue, was eventually refunded for the excess I paid.

1. We could park quite close. 2. We arrived quite late (9PM-10PM) but still reception was open. 3. Compared to our expectations (due to ratings) everything was clear and cosy. 4. Beds were comfortable. 5. At our night (we slept there only 1 night) eveything was calm and not noisy.
In the bathroom there is not enough space for 2 people. You have to play sokoban in the room if you are 3 or 4.

Excellent customer service!!!!!!! Praise to them for staying open longer so we could check in. Beds are very comfortable (though not really built for tall Dutch ppl 😂) and breakfast was very decent as well.

Just enough for one night in Dunkirk. Not too special, but good enough for solo traveller. I appreciated I could get warm water for tea at the reception.

Although adequate, we had booked rooms with just double bed as offered, we received double bed with single bed overhead which we found for a couple, awkward & if not extremely careful you could easily bang your head, apart from that the room was great

Took us a cpl of attempts to find the entrance to the car park. Check in took a bit longer as there was a bit of a queue in front of us. Room was lovely nice and quiet as well, outside eating area so could have the dog with us when we had breakfast which was also very nice. Was also good that there was a supermarket within walking distance and a petrol station 2 mins away so could top up before catching the Eurotunnel home.
Nothing to improve
