Regina hotel was in a fantastic location to everything you need , great rooftop restaurant and very clean tidy rooms

I was very disappointed at check in , when I booked these rooms over 12 months ago I paid for 2 sea view rooms ( prices are different) when we arrived 1 room was on level 3 perfect view the other level 1 with half a view of the roof across the street . When we questioned this at reception the gentleman on duty said that’s it ( that’s what you’ve got ) not apologetic at all .

The location was so perfect. Close to town and close to the Marina grande. The breakfast was plentiful and it had the best views. Our two balcony room was perfect and they had lovely patio accessories.

The tea towels they used for a hand towel in the bathroom. Also the other guest slammed the doors a lot. The doors themselves don’t have a quiet stopper on them so very noisy once in bed for late people.

All of it, breakfast overlooking the bay of naples, in the arms of Mt vesuvius. The evening on the roof terrace looking at the same thing but in a different light. The staff are there for you 100 %. The cleaning staff are amazing. You come back in the evening and your bed has been turned down, the towels have been changed again. It's these small things that make it special. Highly recommend a stay here. Before I go, the location is perfect.xxx

It's not a complaint. There is a venue in front of the hotel. Not every night, but they do have events weddings ect. Very good music by local artists, and if you're lucky a 5min firework display . We enjoyed it!!!

We loved our recent stay here, for 4 nights. The staff were all very friendly, efficent and helpful. The breakfast food was excellent, large variety and well presented, views from the restauanrt were fabulous. We loved the roof top bar, lovely cocktails and served with delicious canapes. Location is very good, just a few minutes walk to the centre of the town. The bathroom had lovely towels and toiletries, room servcied daily, turn down service in the evening. Everything was very clean and tidy.

We thought the pool was very small, and cold and uncomfortable sunloungers. There are a number of steps up to the front door, difficult with heavy luggage.

The rooms were spacious. I mention that because most rooms in Italy I have found are not exactly "spacious". The staff was great. They booked a cruise for me helped me situate my room properly and were always around for help or information. Service was excellent everywhere, bar downstairs, rooftop and the restaurant. I should mentions the breakfast, Wonderful!! It had plenty of variety, sat out on the balcony to watch the ocean and was fresh and tasty!!!!!! It was far enough away from the central part of town so there was very little noise but the walk was short and easy.

I could have done without the insects by the pool, but with the beautiful fruit trees and garden around..........

Great Location close to restaurants, shops and the Beach and the Marina where we could catch ferries to Positano, Amalfi and Capri. The service at the restaurant was excellent 10/10. Marianna who serviced our room was a “delight”. The room was always spotless including the bathroom. She is a true asset to the hotel. She made us feel “at home.” Orlando and Claudio at the Regina restaurant were terrific hosts and attentive, polite and helpful. Last but not least the views from the Balcony where we had breakfast and dinner were “spectacular” and especially the “sunset”. We highly recommend Hotel Regina when staying in Sorrento. The pool area was very pleasant and clean with catering available at outdoor tables or at pool chairs

Back in 2019 we made a one day stop at Sorrento and fell in love with it. The laid back almost bohemian vibe of the town and above all Leonelli's beach which has just the right amount of luxuriousness that still manages to stay on the friendly and welcoming side. Even when it’s full it never feels overcrowded like the beach in Positano. In 2025 things have changed considerably and Sorrento has passed the critical mass of tourist exploitation, but Leonelli's beach still remains the same. Boutique Hotel Regina is perfectly located for visits there. A five minute walk and you will be at the elevator that brings you straight down to the beach. The breakfast is fine, keeping in mind that it is a small hotel, but the view of the breakfast dining room on the other hand is quite breathtaking and one can take breakfast out on the balcony if the weather permits. The rooftop bar has the same view of course. They offer valet parking onsite and all the usual amenities one would expect from a hotel in this price range, like elevator and functioning AC etc.

The staff is a bit difficult to assess. The valet and the porter where excellent but the lady at the desk was a bit guarded and reserved, and addressed us in what we felt was a quite strict manner. It’s hard to know what she has to go through during her day, but that should never affect her manner towards new guests. The fact that they reserve 100€ for eventual damages is of course ominous and says something about the type of guests that they might sometimes have to deal with, though we never noticed any such problems. The only other downside is the rooftop bar, which is fine as long as you don’t drink anything. I got a mojito that was a bit like ice water with a mint leaf. Maybe the bartender was on vacation.

Everything. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. The room was perfect. Robes, open wardrobe space toiletries, towels, small safe, kettle, slippers, and fridge (with coca cola, water and beer - charges apply) were provided in the room. Our room 207, on the corner with 2 balconies overlooking the pool area and the other overlooking the sea. Breakfast was just delicious. There was a choice of juices, cereals, toast, scrambled egg, mushrooms (I think bacon and other things too), good strong coffee, lots of vegetables and fabulous cakes. Roof top terrace bar is very good (open 5.30 till 11.30 I believe). Enjoy a nice cocktail while enjoying the view. Sometimes there's entertainment on too. The pool area is small but nice, and they provide towels to you for the pool area, which includes toilets and a small bar. The hotel sorted our airport transport for 4 people for €190 which took away the stress of getting from Naples to Sorrento with loads of luggage. We also booked a transfer from here to our next hotel in Amalfi cost €220. Loved it here. I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

Absolutely nothing

The view, the breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast staff were lovely.

The house keeper was a bit invasive when cleaning our room & touching our personal items, we kept asking the reception staff for the house keeper to not come into our room, but this kept happening. The house keeper walked into our room without knocking while we were in bed! There are a lot of stairs to get to the hotel & with 4 suitcases this was very difficult and we didn’t get any help from the staff.

Honestly we absolutely loved everything about this hotel, the food incredible even at the pool bar. The staff all amazing so kind and helpful, we stayed here during our wedding and the hotel was just impeccable. We booked another hotel one of the grand ones and it doesnt compare to the regina... Hotel Regina is 20/10 and we cant wait to come back already. I can't Even rate the hotel enough. The photos doesn't do this place any justice honestly if i could say in all the 10 hotels we've stayed at this year sp far this one exceeded our expectations. The roof terrace is amazing 😍 the breakfast views honestly one of the best. Room 305 balcony view unreal 😍😍😍
