We loved how clean it was. We loved the complimentary breakfasts in the morning. We loved how it was walking distance from Thames St and the wharfs.

The room turnover could have been better. We ran out of toilet paper and towels and the garbage was not changed.

This was the definition of a perfect stay. The Inn is located in walking distance to everything you need and has a parking spot for cars which is super convenient. The whole house is super cozy and tastefully decorated and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean! The included breakfast is out of this world - SO GOOD!! And the staff is super kind and attentive. The coffee/tea bar and community fridge is a bonus as well. Everything about my stay here was absolutely perfect and I loved every second of it. Feels like a home away from home. Probably my favorite hotel/Inn experience EVER.

The breakfast was amazing! The room was comfortable. The room had it's own thermostat, which was helpful with the fluctuating temperatures. The mattress was firm, so be prepared. The stairs can be a little tricky as well, narrorer going up to the third floor, just be aware. The bathroom was a good size. The balcony was excellent, I could see the bridge and the church steeple very well at night.

Mother nature had lightning strike and brought down the huge evergreen in front of the property :(, I do hope that you plant a new tree in it's place.

The owner met us on arrival, even though we'd had instructions as to how to check in ourselves. She showed us on a map what to do in the area and restaurant recommendations and was incredibly accommodating each time we saw her, including each morning at breakfast. Breakfast was freshly made to order, with one key suggestion each day, although there was room to deviate or they were flexible to adapt. The room, not large, was beautiful with a fabulous deck which I think was specific to this particular room. We loved it. It was central and the restaurant recommendations were great so local knowledge was appreciated. If ever we were back in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

It might have been nice to know that there were other breakfast choices as the main selection of the day was offered and until I heard someone else deviate, I didn't know it was an option. This is a minimal thing though.

On the whole, this is the best hotel in my travels. I will give five stars because it feels very clean and the service staff is very close. It makes you feel like home. The appearance of the hotel is very beautiful at night. When you enter the room, you can feel the fresh air at the first time. This is the most important thing. The breakfast is Amazing, and the surrounding attractions are also very beautiful, because it is close to the sea, there are some bars and restaurants, and it is strongly recommended for all friends who like to travel! I will definitely come back because I like it so much, Thank you again, boss and all the staff. Thank you for your hard work.

Location- The place was located close to shopping areas and Thames St. It was nice to be able to park the car and walk. Condition of the room was bright and immaculately clean (and I am super picky!). Ashley greeted me warmly upon arrival and took her time explaining how the rooms worked. She was super hospitable and helpful, and very professional. Would stay again here in a heartbeat! Breakfast staff in the morning was efficient and worked hard to ensure that items were stocked and that the area was clean. 10/10!!

I was thankful for the parking lot but be aware that it is a little tight. Please be considerate of other guests and stay within the lines so others can park, too.

The Serenity Inn Newport was in a great location, we did a lot of walking. Just down the street was Thames street that had lots of shops, restaurants and pubs. We had room 12, the queen room that was very comfortable, but you do have to climb 3 flights of stairs so if you have trouble with that will want to book on the first or second floor. Breakfast was amazing each day, and they were very accommodating if you wanted to exclude something from the daily breakfast that was offered. The staff was amazing, very friendly and informative about the area. Would definitely stay here again.

The only downside was the bathroom was rather small and there was nowhere to put your toiletries. Even a small shelf above the sink would have helped.

Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Adorable inn from the inside out. It was decorated beautifully for the holiday season and made us feel like we were staying in a holiday movie. The location was perfect and walkable to the waterfront and many nearby restaurants. Lisa and Maria were fantastic hosts and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay, and took the time to talk to us each day. I won't lie, our favorite part of every day was the breakfast. Each morning there was a 10/10 homecooked meal that filled us up for most of the day and started out each day with a smile. If I ever return to Newport, there's no question of where I'll be staying.

The stairs were a little steep and curvy for my mother to navigate comfortable, so request a main floor room if you have mobility issues. She also said the mattress was a bit firm for her liking but I was fine. Parking was also a little difficult due to the narrow lot, but we were told this in advance.

Our stay at the Serenity Inn was great! The building is charming, the decor is lovely, and the location is amazing....just a few blocks from downtown Newport. We were able to find street parking right in front of the Inn, but it's convenient that they also have reserved parking spaces in a lot a block away. The innkeeper was wonderful and kind, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! We loved everything about our stay - and can't wait to stay again! I would absolutely (and already have) recommended Serenity Inn to anyone looking to stay in Newport.

The only downsides about our stay were that the bathroom had a bit of a strange odor when we checked in, but we managed to get used to it after a while. The room also got incredibly hot and dry at night, even with the heat turned off. Maybe because we were on the 3rd floor? I did also overhear that they are replacing all the carpets shortly which will look great.

Location: steps from Thames street. Parking included. Inn style of property: cozy and intimate. includes a delicious breakfast. high quality of accommodation: everything was beautiful, clean, comfortable, charming. Maria was a delight! Warm and friendly.

Check-in process. We were offered early check-in and made arrangements with host. Upon arrival host was not there and would not be there for another 15-20 minutes. An email with instructions was sent but ended up in junk mail. Perhaps consider adding a note via the booking app to check your junk/spam email for info as it is different than checking in at a hotel. Also if you offer early check in and agree upon a time, be there. Or at least check back in with guest to let them know you’d be late.
