I would suggest to improve variety of choices in Breakfast. like more cheese , or pastries. Breakfast was a bit poor for 5stars Resort.

great location / beach resort very secluded , great for snorkeling . very nice welcome on arrival also nice touch that they wave you off when you leave the jetty. room was just set back from the beach in a excellent spot and very clean.

we had a bit of confusion with the discount of 15% that we was told we could claim in the sister hotel and the beach bar only to find out after purchasing food and drink that alcohol was not included ,this should have been made clearer when we arrived. there was a young girl who was serving thin the eggs section at breakfast time who was very abrupt and shouted a lot in thai when you asked her a question and she did not understand english very well , also she looked miserable all the time which is a shame as all the other staff was excellent

First of all, the staff were amazing, super helpful, friendly and serviceable. Our room was fabulous. Initially we didn't have the 3rd bed made but after a request that was done in no time. For the rest the room was very comfortable with amazing views. It has swimming pool, sea and a beach on the good side on the island. Wind was minimal, while on the east side there was quite a bit of wind. It's a haven of peace, we adored it! Also, the boat trip to and from the hotel was excellent, very professional with 100% service!!

The breakfast could've been a bit better, but I am nitpicking. I mostly thought the coffee was really not good.. :-\ But having breakfast while overlooking the beach and the ocean does make it very nice, to be honest.

Because using Booking we ended up with one room more then we needed, it could be proactivly informed us that only on cottage with extra bed is enough. Not a big deal we ended with a great accomodation and a lot of space but we payed x2 😉

Bungalow with balcony and seaview through the palms, big size of room and bed, very clean bathroom, big enough safe, quietness of resort, superb beach, very good massage on the beach.

aircondition quite noisy for sleeping, would need newer aircon model with special quiet & sleep mode for this resort price, small street in front of resort has advantages for taxi pickup, but is also noisy sometime during day when taxis come this way, missing closet or other storage for clothes - you live with open luggage as no storage available, just one open thing for hanging up shirts.

Everything was wonderful. The staff at the front desk and around the resort were friendly.

Several guests were leaving their used towels on the sun-beds after they left the pool or the beach. Guests should be informed where they should place their used towels, possibly during check-in. It was difficult to figure out whether other guests were done using the sun-beds due to this problem. During our stay, our air conditioner stopped working properly from the second day, and it took a while for the hotel management to fix the problem. Although they offered us a new room on the last night, it was not of much use. Our stay would have been excellent had it not been for the issue with the old air conditioning unit.

Yes it was very good. We stayed for 12 days. The service is top quality. All the staff was friendly, helpful and service minded. Tanya really take care for us when we need. We have been there 3 times before and like to come back again on day. The beach and water quality is great. It is weary private and relaxing. Best from all our family

We loved our stay at Ao Prao resort. We went off season ( June ) and the resort was half empty and very quiet. Stuff was very helpful; and well trained . The beach was not crowded and there was decent surf. We surfed every day ( although the boards were a bit pricy for daily use) . Breakfast was excellent and so was the dinner at the resort restaurant.

Nice resort *very* spacious room (stayed at the Premier Sea View). Staff is extremely friendly and willing to help. Good breakfast buffet, vegan options available. Nice infinity pool and cozy private beach a few steps away from the room. Nice evening entertainment and wonderful Loy Khratong evet with fire show. Easy convenient access with speedboat to and from the mainland at various times during the day..

The stream in the shower was weak.

The location, at the idyllic and quiet end of Koh Samed’s best beach, is amazing. The cottage was spacious, clean and beautifully designed in a classic colonial / island resort style, with a super comfy bed and pillows. Walking down through the well-kept lush tropical gardens to the infinity pool, beach and dining area every morning was a dream. Our kids loved the pools and easy access to a safe and pristine beach (the seawater was the temperature of a warm bath!) I recommend hiring the kayaks or stand-up paddle boards (but do ask for a quick lesson before you head out). The staff were welcoming and helpful. You also get access to the facilities at the sister hotels along the beach (such as the gym and pools).
