We had 4 rooms booked and had the entire villa to ourselves and the villa staff were very accommodating - even our very late arrival (after 12 midnight) . Location is fantastic- right on the beach- rocky but you can walk along the rocks to sandy stretches . The Villa is walkable to attractions in Mirissa- including coconut tree hill and lovely little coves where we snorkelled with sea turtles. Short tuktuk ride to the main beach restaurant/ Bar strip which is lively during sunset/ evening.

Everything was as advertised- we didn’t have any issues.

I should explain that there are 2 Villas with the same name, side by side, with each Villa having 5 rooms. There were 11 of us staying in the Villa, so we 7 rooms booked. This meant that we had one full villa to ourselves and 2 rooms in the adjoining villa. As agreed in advance with the owner, we used the one villa for our food and spend the leisure time there also. The Villa exceeded all our expectations, from the Villa itself, the staff, the food and the customer service. Rooms were exceptional and the staff cooked a fantastic meal for the 11 people on our last night, that had us all wanting to stay longer. The Villa and garden area with the pool were maintained every day and everything was in pristine condition all the time. Breakfast every morning for the 3 days was a feast, with nothing an issue for the kitchen staff. We would all highly recommend this Villa, especially if you have a group that will occupy all 5 rooms in the Villa and have it to yourself.

Its hard to find any negatives about this Villa, but I have to say that the fact that you cannot swim anywhere along the stretch of beach in front of the villa was a little disappointing, but we knew that in advance.

I loved so many things. It was different from anything I had stayed in on this trip and was great value for money, it felt very luxurious. I loved the fact I felt so at home and it was all so serene. It's set on the beachfront in a quieter part of town where you can sleep with the wonderful sound of the ocean. I had a huge ground floor room leading out to lovely gardens and then the ocean. All so tastefully done with beautiful design and furnishings and the most comfortable bed I've come across on my trip. The equally spacious bathroom had an amazing rain shower and was beautifully designed. The hotel has 10 rooms and it was full when I was there but I only ever saw one other guest due to the clever design that gives everyone space outside and around their rooms. I opted for Sri Lankan breakfasts which you order the night before but they came around in the evening taking orders. It was a huge serving and delicious and I appreciated the effort to make it non spicy and the touch of the tea pot and tea box offering a variety of teas, nice touch. For those looking for a chilled spot, I highly recommend this place.

The fact I couldn't stay longer but I will definitely return.

A beautiful colonial villa in Mirissa for some much needed calm and relaxation. The rooms are spacious and clean, the lawn and pool are great to chill by with the sound of crashing waves in the background, service is very good and food served is also great. The location is a bit away from main Mirissa so you'll need a tuktuk or scooty to get in and out easily (unless you don't mind walking 30min), but depends what you want - if you need close access to main Mirissa then it's far, but if you want to stay away from main Mirissa then it's the right distance. Tuktuks are easily available where the staff will order for you - they often gave us better rates!

I enjoyed the pool, breakfast and the room.

I think it would better if there were a few more chairs on the balcony so that everyone could have space. The table to have breakfast on the balcony is nice but could be just inside as there is so much space there and it isn't really used much.

The pictures were not accurate because the resort is better than shown on the photos. Nice welcome, good staff and beautiful rooms. Sea very close but a fence divide the property from the beach. Good food. Nice swimming pool, simple but pleasant set up of the common areas.

Located on a quiet ocean front area, the resort is wide and plenty of space and not compact like other resorts in the busier area and it got a nice pool too. Bathroom is quite huge, i wish a bit of space was allocated for a seating area. Breakfast could be improved but its ok.

Its a bit far off from beaches for swimming which we knew already but for a week stay, we spent quite a lot of money for taking tuk tuk everytime. The room doesn't have a comfortable seating area to read and with the humidity outside it could have been nice just to stay in the room to cool off. Communication with staffs is a bit difficult at times.

The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Visited with 2 of my friends and we were very well looked after ! The staff were extremely friendly and were very attentive! The food was fabulous and the chef was very very good ! His lunu miris is to die for and we even got a jar of lunu miris to take away :) The whole process was delightful , from booking our stay all the way to check out ! The little private beach was also quite welcoming ! We had our very own private Little Rock pool and which was a pleasant surprise. All in all - a fabulous stay ! The staff were very discreet, sometimes too discreet, however if you needed someone you could press the service bell and a member of staff would appear. The breakfast was Ok , nothing special and the food could sit uncleared on the table for many hours . We stayed three nights and despite the leaflet in our room which said that room would be serviced on day two this never happened

Villa is lovely, has the vibe of a typical Sri Lankan home. Location is perfect, nice and quiet and overlooking the beach. Staff were always available to help with anything you asked them for.

Internet worked for the most part but did cut out a few times and we would have to switch between connecting to one of 4 different routers depending on which one was available. A storm caused a power cut while we were there. It only lasted a few seconds but they had issues with getting the power back for our side of the villa after that.
