We had a great stay at Iris Hotel — the service was excellent throughout. The staff, especially George and the morning team, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They served great coffee and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was just right — simple but had everything we needed, including lovely local olives and jams. The room was clean and sufficient for our overnight stay. It’s a perfect airport hotel, only 5 minutes (2km) from the airport, which made it ideal for a short stop before our flight. What really stood out was how helpful and attentive the staff were — they even recommended a fantastic local restaurant just down the road that turned out to be one of the best meals we had, and such great value too. ✅ Clean ✅ Convenient location ✅ Friendly staff ✅ Great value Highly recommended if you need somewhere close to the airport with great service and local charm.

Great option near the airport The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute drive from the airport, which is perfect if you need a place to stay before a flight. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a small balcony. There's plenty of covered parking available. Since we had an early flight and had to leave before the official breakfast time, we were given a packed breakfast to take with us — a really nice touch. Overall, a great choice for anyone looking for a hotel near the airport.

The only downside was the shower design — it didn’t have a proper enclosure, so water ended up splashing all over the bathroom when we showered.

A basic 2* hotel really close to the airport. Normally we stay at higher catagory hotel but it was for the 1 night and only 3 mins drive to the airport forced us to book a room here for the night as we had a really early flight the next day! It included breakfast which was a good enough deal. The bathroom was lovely as just renovated we seen. We could see that this small hotel is slowly doing renovations which is great news and we always need to see improvements and say Good bye to the old style hotels. A basic hotel but a good choice for the price & great location for us!

Maybe there could be a sign placed in the hall entrance to all rooms to state "after 23.00 - please respect other guests no noise allowed" I only say this as we heard noise until 01.00 next door to us and in the hall way.

Overall, everything was good, though there were a few small nuances. The location is convenient, especially in relation to the airport. The room was clean, with two bottles of water in the fridge, soft clean towels, and a comfortable bed.

There was loud music playing until 6 a.m. — it was incredibly noisy. If I hadn’t been so tired, I probably wouldn’t have been able to sleep at all. For light sleepers, this place could be a nightmare. I believe it doesn’t happen all the time — I was probably just unlucky.

The hotel is 5 mins driving from the airport: very good for catching an early flight. The room is clean and confortable and also has a balcony. the breakfast is tasty and complete, in real greek style. Theuy were kind enough to let us have breakfast 15 minutes eralier than opening time due to our early flight. It is remarkable that the hotel, despite being very close to the airport is really silent during the night.

The room is very small and the bathroom is really super small. The shower does not have a curtain on the front: it is difficult to use it without wetting the whole floor. The Breakfast shoutd be served much earlier than 07:30 in a hotel bound to be used by travvelers who have to chatch early flights.

The breakfast was very good. However, they have no option for lunch or dinner. We arrived late at night and it would have been better if there had been some dinner option in the hotel itself as the hotel is location quite far away from the city center and there is no shop or restaurant in and around the hotel. It becomes a little difficult then. We had to order food at a higher price. Other than this, everything was very very nice. The staff and hospitality are top-notch. I would always like to return back and stay at the property.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was in a great location to the airport. George at the reception desk was a blessing! He recommended a very nice restaurant for my wife and I to dine at only 8 km away from the hotel. I really appreciate his care and concern for us not to travel and dine in Thessaloniki but rather to the steak house called Anestis in the town of Peraia. The breakfast was really good also. We had a much needed and pleasant stay at this hotel. Thank you to all the staff at Iris Hotel!

The only thing was that the closet had a mildew smell in it.

This is the second time I've stayed at Iris, mainly for the location close to the airport since I had to catch a very early flight. Although you wouldn't stay here for a holiday, it's an excellent place very convenient to the airport (you can even walk if you have to) and the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the hotel will arrange transport to the airport 24 hours for only about 10 euros. I had to leave too early to enjoy breakfast but they even offered to make up a breakfast box for me to take with me. Highly recommended.

Nothing to complain about. Again, the location is more for convenience to the airport than anything else, but it's a very good place and excellent value.

The hotel is great for its value and perfect for a night before a flight. Super close to the airport and they offer a 24h shuttle service to the airport. The room was nice and clean, enough for a good sleep before a day of travel. Breakfast was really good, great selection and variety. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Public transportation to the hotel was also good, the bus station is just a 4 min walk away.

I did lack having a kettle for hot water to make tea and such. Also would be nice to have a microwave/stove top since there aren't any restaurants in the area of the hotel (which is in an industrial- airport parking lot area). The shower is good but the room is so small that the water sprays all over the bathroom and toilet ends up wet.

Excellent value £66 for room when arriving late at airport, taxi fare 12-15 euro from airport. Arrived after midnight to be meet by duty manager who made tea/coffee for us which was very welcome. Room is clean and adequate for 1 night stay only down side carpets in room old and worn and urgently need replaced which would improve standards. Breakfast was included in price and staff very good. Would give a 10 but state of carpet in room now give it 8 Overall yes lovely clean modern budget hotel if you arrive late at airport
