Nice, modern & secure building in heart of Wall Street. Large, clean room with good sized bathroom & walk in shower. Accommodated 2 adults & 2 children comfortably in 2 large double beds…an additional bed would have been a bonus. Large & fast lifts. Friendly & helpful staff / security-at reception 24hrs. Terrace (went in very cold December so didn’t get to use but good feature). Restaurant adjacent to lobby & Starbucks across road. Sea very close by with lovely view at night. Short walk to Battery Park where Ferry to Statue of Liberty goes from. Short walk to One World Trade Centre, Memorial & Charging Bull. Well known Joe’s Pizza (seen in Spider-Man) is in nearby Fulton Street & delivers to Placemakr…best pizza ever! All in all good choice for first visit to NYC-can walk to some attractions, Wall Street subway very close & just few stops to St Penn (Macy’s, Madison Sq Gd, Times Square) plus nice, calm place to come back to after being out & about in bustling streets all day.

Would have been nice to have room cleaned at least once during stay although getting additional linen, towels from reception was no issue & was brought up to our room upon request. Probably better to book direct as booked via booking.com & was surprised to see my card had been charged one day prior to arrival (booking.com stated ‘pay at property’) plus additional taxes charged (booking.com’s price stated all taxes/charges included).

The facilities are substantial. There is a dedicated room filled with washers and dryers for guest to use for free. Gym are available too. There are function rooms and shared kitchen to use in several floors. The room is spacious. We were a family of four with both our son and daughter already adult. We occupied Studio plus and it was nice. Coffee maker, utensil, microwave, iron and board, fridge are all there. They do have balcony too. We stayed for 5 nights to find a bigger room from the previous place in upper Manhattan to accomodate our daughter which came after and we love our choice. In fact, we are supposed to move to other hotel in the upper part but decided to come back to this place after our visit to Boston

Location wise is quieter than Upper part. We moved from a hotel within walking distance from Times Square before coming here. So it was a 180 degree different experience. Nothing much too see if you look for more vibrant atmosphere. However we can take whatever public transportation easily from here. Subway, Bus even Ferry are all within walking distance. It took us 10 minutes overall from this place to Dumbo Brooklyn with Ferry. You can also take a Heli Taxi which is also within walking distance :-)

OK. This is our 3rd visit to this hotel in a week-span. Yes, the first stay is by pre-booking. But the subsequent two, including this one, is our choice by design as we love this place with its facilities. The staff is greatly friendly. We had a delay on our way back from D.C. but the hotel send us an email asking for confirmation and also the assigned room. Nice touch. Kindly refer to our review from the first two stay. We occupied Studio + type, the same type as the first stay. Apparently, although the layout is similar but surely not identical. We were put in higher floor now (20) instead of 7 from the previous 2 stays. It's ok with different view, but to be honest, lower floor is preferable. 8th floor is where the laundry is (with pool and fussball table and vending machine) and 7th floor is where the gym located along with open terrace. Ask for these two floors on your visit for easy access to in-house facilities.

Well, this 3rd stay is our last stay before coming back to our country. The same type of room as our first stay with slightly different layout. We prefer the old room as it is located in lower floor and the room we had now is missing coat hanger and full body mirror unlike the previous room.

The concept is very cool, these appartments are comfortable and spacious. Not the classic hotel, it looks more like a we work appartement. Modern, functional and with a lobby. A place to do your laundry, a lobby with great barista and espresso coffee machine (la marzocco).

The size of the beds: they are comfortable but between a double and a Queen. If you are tall people, you will be squeezed a little

Amazing week-long stay at the Placemakr Wall Street, 10/10 experience! Great staff – professional and friendly at the reception, helpful and kind on our floor. Special thanks to Aleena for helping us with the package. Accommodation far exceeded our expectations: our apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable (this bed in the sleeping nook was just perfect!) and well equipped, we did not miss a single thing as everything was well thought out. Gym and great kitchen available to all guests are a superb option and add to this overall positive “fell like at home” vibe, which we really appreciated. Indeed, we felt like guests, not customers - huge thanks for that! Re location: all you may need is at hand, great coffee in the entrance hall, catering and grocery shopping options in close vicinity. Placemakr, you are head and shoulders above the rest with your exceptional service. We do hope to come back!

My family of four loved our unit!!! The vibe of the entire hotel was cool, including the furnishings in the hallways, laundry / game room, and the relaxing lobby - like your cool Auntie’s house. The design of our unit maximized the space by having lots of compartments/storage for personal items, outlets, and curtains to divide the sleeping areas - for privacy. Just needed more lighting in the bathroom. We stayed at the Wall Street location which was on the East River, close to everything we needed - restaurants, convenience stores, sites, public transit. The staff was very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay at a Placemakr hotel again!!!

Location was amazing for us because we don't like the craziness of Times Square. We walked to the World Trade center area, Brookfield Place mall, Battery Park. We took the ferry (literally across the street) to DUMBO and wandered around and had a fantastic dinner at Celestine. Great coffee across the street and great restaurant next door. Our apartment had a view of the East river.

Furniture: the stools much too tall for the countertop and the split navy blue sofa was so hard.

Great location at the financial District & close to pier 17 which has restaurants & nice views to Brooklyn bridge. The room was perfect & clean + really friendly & helpful staff!

The cafeteria at the lobby has mainly sweet things, I would suggest to include more breakfast options

The staff were great and very helpful. The laundry room was out of service and as we were saving our washing to do when we arrived in New York, the manager organised our washing to be done as a matter of urgency with a laundromat that washed and folded everything for us (family of 4). Great location, easy to get around. Staff organised a driver for us to get to the airport.

My bed wasn't too comfortable however the ones in the other two rooms were great. Didn't have the crib ready in our room that we requested a couple of times, we got it in the end, bub was just a bit overtired by the time it arrived. Otherwise everything was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Placemakr Wall Street! The location is excellent—right in the heart of the Financial District, with easy access to major sights, subway lines, and great dining options. The apartment was cosy and comfortable, with a compact but well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed for a short stay. What truly stood out was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff—they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish and convenient base in NYC!

The only downside was that the laundry room was closed due to maintenance during our visit, which was a bit inconvenient—but we were informed about it in advance, so we appreciated the heads-up.
