The location is good, walking distance from the city center. The room was okay, including basic needs such as a mini fridge, an electric stove and a microwave.

The furniture could be laid out differently, as there is not much space left with the current layout. The bed facing the main door just didn't seem right as it blocked the way and made it more difficult to enter the room. The room is okay but it needs some redesigning for a better review.

The apartment was an excellent base for exploring Akureyri and the surrounding area. The beds were super comfortable,, the living area was spacious and the kitchen was very well-equipped. The location was great - in a quiet neighbourhood but just a short walk from the city centre.

There is limited space in the apartment block's parking lot, but parking is free on the surrounding streets. However be careful to take note of local parking rules: https://www.akureyri.is/umhverfi-og-samgongur/bifreidastaedasjodur/parking-in-akureyri. We were fined a whopping 20000 ISK for parking facing against the direction of traffic, an extra expense we could have done without!

Everything about the place! Every single detail of it! So well organised and clean! Excellent !!!

Nothing actually about the property itself, just the fact that it’s in a way close to a big main road and sometimes during the night there where some people drifting their cars! As I said nothing related to the actual property itself!!!

Nice location downtown, easily get to all the stores we needed to restock. Check in instructions were easy and clear even though there were no staff on site.

Nice accommodations, quiet. Just to be aware, if you get the room with the kitchen, you are expected to wash all the dishes and cooking items before departure. My personal concern is, did the previous occupant do a good enough job in cleaning, does the owner of the accommodation check before the next guest arrives. This is not an up front piece of information. We were made aware of this information through follow on messages from the location after booking the place. Knowing that cleaning requirements could have swayed our decision to select this accommodation.

The apartment is in a great location. We walked to the cathedral, the shopping street, and the botanical garden. The apartment is spacious, with a beautifully decorated and tidy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely bathroom. Parking within the apartment complex is a bit limited, but there are plenty of free parking spots on the surrounding streets. The apartment requires that the kitchen must be cleaned thoroughly after use, returning it to the same condition as at check-in. Otherwise, a cleaning fee will be charged.

The Wi-Fi isn’t very reliable—WeChat and X HS won’t load, but Google works. I messaged the owner to fix it, but got no response.

Where do we start? Fantastic hosts, absolutely lovely people to deal with from start to finish. Apartment location is spot on! Just a very short stroll to The HOF, which is where the tours and buses go from. We were so lucky to have a little balcony overlooking the valley - which was unexpected and lovely! Totally spotless, super comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Bed was amazing, and the whole apartment was warm and toasty. Very-very highly recommended… I’d go back tomorrow if I could!

We booked this place last minute because of bad weather and they were very accomodating, they even managed to let us check in early despite the room being occupied the night before . TV and internet worked great, kitchen was simple but it worked. Very close to the city center, easy parking, walking distance from everything in Akureyri (including restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets...) Nice little balcony. It felt good to stay here, we couldn't have found a better place to stay at during a storm.

It wasn't sound proof at all. We could hear all the neighbours. The kitchen could have been a bit bigger, we were only 2 persons so it worked but the cooking plates were very hard to use with more than one small pan. The shower drain was a bit slow if you like a little bit of pressure.

Good location, good-sized flat and very clean. I would come back.

There was some issue with room booking, our room was already occupied... we walked into our room to find two (very nice) strangers drinking wine. Not ideal, for us and for them. However, the issue was solved promptly, and in less than 30 minutes, we were in another room. From conversing with the couple in our room, it sounds like there is one code that opens all doors (maybe the one used by the cleaners). It's not ideal and not the safest. If my partner and I had bad intentions, we could have walked into other flats. Hopefully, it will be just a misunderstanding, and if not, they will fix the issue.
