We booked La Mirage for two nights as part of our Wild Atlantic Way driving holiday. We had fantastic friendly and informative hosts which made for a really relaxed and enjoyable stay. They clearly genuinely liked and were interested in their guests. Liked the wee area that you could relax in on an evening and read or review where we were going the following day. Breakfasts were super and really set you up well for the day ahead. One of the recommendations given when we asked about evening meals was so good, we went back the second night because we liked it so much (and the food!)

The fact that our travelling plans meant that we could only stay for two nights!

Very friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgable about local tourist spots. Lovely breakfast and plenty of options - gluten free, sugar free. Great location - very close to Bantry and Glengariff with a beautiful view of the Bay. Lavender scented sheets felt so luxurious and cosy! Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom - perfect for longer stays or if you forgot anything. Really loved the herbal tea selection in the bedroom. All these little touches made us feel so at home. Thank you so much for a great stay. We will definitely be back

I would like to give this property 11 out of 10! The host was so welcoming and helpful, place was clean and smelled delightfully fresh, had everything I needed. The property was easy to find. just a 5 min drive from centre of Bantry. The breakfast was perfect, home-grown fruits and fresh eggs. The bed was so comfortable, pillows just right. I could go on and on...

Not a thing

The hosts were amazing, really friendly and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was outstanding, home made jams, scones and fresh berries from the garden made it extra special, we really enjoyed taking our tea outside to sit on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Well worth the money paid.

It was remote, quiet, clean and the host went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome. Location was amazing. Room a bit cosy, but still comfortable. Host had great knowledge of the local area. Host will engage with as little or as much as you like. Great stay, would recommend

A tranquil spot outside Bantry in beautiful countryside. A very comfortable clean spacious room and such a welcoming hospitable host who did everything to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Great breakfast and really catered to our request for vegan options. Hope to be back another time when visiting Bantry area.

Very friendly welcome and introduction to facilities. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and home cooking very yummy. Breakfast room had a stunning view of the Ocean. The owners made us very welcome and we would not hesitate to come again.

Everything was wonderful.

We travelled their on motorcycles and found it was a very lovely location on a small quiet road with safe parking and beautiful scenery. Warm welcome and lovely people. The accommodation had everything you need and more, and the Irish breakfast was amazing !! One we will never forget. And would defìnitly recommend to stay here, we will be back. Cheers Luke

Having to leave such a lovely place

Great clean and comfortable room with views. Lovely host and her daughter. Breakfast delicious. Parking right outside the door. Very conveniant. Will stay again as soon as possible.

Not that I didn't like it, but I would have prefered a larger bed. That won't stop me staying again, though

This was a fabulous place to stay. Siobhan made us feel at home. The choice available at breakfast was excellent with lovely home baking. She was also very helpful with suggestions on good places to visit and dine.. Would highly recommend this B&B as a great place to stay.
