Bright clean room with large comfortable bed. We had an upstairs room with view of the roof tops and the mountains. Very close to the night market and bus station yet away from the noise 🙂
The upstairs terrace was full of plants which was nice but the was ashes on the from smokers. It only bothered me because I wanted to roll out my yoga mat there. The hotel supplies plastic water bottles. We are trying very hard to reduce plastic consumption. If you have been to Thai beaches you know why. We asked if we could fill our own bottles but were told that that wasn’t possible. Please Hugga Pai consider using glass bottles and offer water refills from water jugs

We loved everything! There is daily housekeeping with fresh sheets and top ups of amenities (toilet roll, bottles of water, coffee and shampoo), a lovely terrace area that is quite private, and the bathroom is gorgeous. The area is less than a minute from several food spots and less than 5 minutes from the centre of town. There are also a few friendly cats that hang out around the terrace area. The wifi is very strong, we were both working from the hotel (video calls) and didn’t have an issue.
Nothing! Just be careful to not leave food out because the ants will get it! (but this is Thailand - there are ants everywhere) :)

Hugga Pai is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Pai. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cozy yet modern vibe of this small hotel. The **bed was incredibly comfortable**, ensuring a great night's sleep after long days of exploring. The **air conditioning was top-notch**, keeping the room cool and refreshing even during the warmest days. The **furniture was stylish and functional**, giving the room a welcoming and homey feel. Its **location is unbeatable**, perfectly situated near all the key attractions, yet it still felt peaceful and relaxing. Plus, the **price was very reasonable**, making it an exceptional value for the quality and experience offered. If you're looking for a charming, well-appointed place to stay in Pai, Hugga Pai is **well worth it**. Highly recommended!
Wifi was a bit spotty.

June 2024
I stayed 7 nights at Hugga Pai. The room was spacious with a cute balcony & a view. The room had everything I needed for my stay. There was no closet but enough hangers and space to keep stuff. The bed was a king size but not particularly comfy. The pillows were also too hard. Out of the 7 days I stayed, there were power outages on 2 days from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day. Although pre-informed by the staff on both occasions, they should look into getting some sort of power back up. It was rather inconvenient without A/C, wifi etc. Ants were everywhere in the room so make sure to finish that fruit or cake and throw away the crumbs/leftovers/fruit peels in a sealed bag or box. Also, they give you the standard 2 small bottles of water every day but there are no water filters at the property so you’d have to buy more water from the store. Location is good and Pai city center is quite walkable. The rooms are serviced every day. The cleaning staff can be a bit annoying. I didn’t hang the “please make my room” thingy on the door and the cleaners still kept banging on the door and tried to unlock the door while I was in the shower and another time I was trying to nap. I noticed they didn’t clean the cups well after I had coffee in them. I could still see the stains. The bathroom sink drained extremely slow. I really liked how there were lots of charging outlets in the room. The staff was nice and polite. There’s also a fruit store like next door where you can buy a variety of fruits such as mangoes, papaya, rambutan etc.

We were upgraded to the top floor and we are so grateful. It was absolutely gorgeous. Views all around the room of the mountains. Air con was perfect. Our room felt so private which was badly needed for us at this point of our trip. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, secure feeling. Friendly staff and very close to the walking street for night markets and dinner. Great pad Thai across the road. Worth every penny if not more! Super clean and stocked with all supplies daily. Nice outdoor space we could use and the reception let us borrow an umbrella in the rain
Only downfalls was there was a lot of ants but we expect this in Thai country side. Not the fault of the hotel. We had issues trying to get hot water in the shower too

Top floor room, separate air conditioned room for sleeping with a desk, nice sitting area and bathroom. Top floor also has a lovely covered terrace where I drank coffee and relaxed.
Staff and housecleaning was excellent and cheerful. We ended up extending our stay 5 days. There was nothing to complain about.

Great location near (but not too close) to walking street. Quiet. Nice wall of windows and small balcony french doors - very bright. Bug screens on windows. Comfortable bed. Staff cleans everyday (if so desired). They left a bag with toilet paper, tissues, and drinking water on the door knob when the do not disturb sign was hung.
Can't think of anything negative.

The bathroom setup was really good and the room a good space with hanging and bag storage area. Fridge, kettle, water and coffee provided. Stunning view of the hills and white Buddha, good sunrise position. Really good location, short walk y walking street for food and to the bus station.
The sink was blocked and took a long time to drain. There were no chairs on the balcony.

Hugga Pai is an excellent place to stay in Pai. Just a couple of minutes from the walking street market, yet very quiet. The room was spacious and the windows allowed natural light in. I enjoyed the balcony in the evenings when it got cooler.
The only issue I had was the shower didn't get hot enough. The lady at the reception helped me out by telling me to run the shower until it got hot, but it took over 10 minutes. It's a waste of water, so I took a cold shower which I didn't mind.

The room was spacious and had all the essentials. There was a large comfortable bed and a small spare bed that I used for my belongings. The bathroom was wonderful with a large shower complete with rain shower head and hand held shower head. There was a small private patio and a clothes drying rack.
There was no green space other than the bushes in front of my room but the location was worth giving up on that.
