Perfect location for the town and it was perfect for a family gathering. The breakfast included was fantastic. Really close to a lovely castle to visit.

The rooms are clean but dark probably need some updating we had a leak in our room so there was a damp smell but the staff gave a complementary drinks voucher to apologize. I feel the food and drink was overpriced for what it is in to comparison to other places in Ireland.

From the moment I walked in the staff were friendly, went to the room, everything there what you need, nice and clean, went into the Bar for a pint of Guinness, been a long time since I’ve had a true Irish Guinness with being an English guy… What a pint absolutely lovely, food was amazing - You have to try the steak burger - proper top draw … so will I salary again ? I not hope one day I’m passing through as “hell yeah” I’ll be calling in. Thank you to all the staff !!

The hotel is a delight. the staff are wonderful and could not be faulted. Our room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was slightly cramped, but usable. The breakfast was very good, with a wide range of things on offer. The evening menu was equally as good.

There is no parking on site, but there is a town car park across the road where you can stay for 3 euros.

The breakfast was incredible, they cook it by order, rather than having a buffet, so there's not the risk of coming down too late and missing some elements of the fry - I'd consider if one of the best breakfasts I've ever gotten if there had been beans included The room was spacious and comfortable, and nicely lit The staff were very friendly, the bar remained serving to residents until quite late, and there was music playing - the cocktails were lovely The location was ideal, right on the main street of Carrick-an-Suir so everything is walking distance

The curiosity that is the up and down, around and around getting to your room with heavy suitcase that we've seen in a few older Irish inns/hotels.

Great bar area, good selection of meals and snacks, excellent breakfast, staff that we dealt with were all lovely. Room spacious and had all we needed for an overnight stay (on a band tour).

We had to ask for the heating to be put on - it was on a timer, and the manager had forgotten to over-ride it, on what was a pretty cold day. This was dealt with very quickly, though.

some rooms needs updating. Working and faster boiling kettle in the room would help (however faulty kettle was replaced very quickly) on weekends gets very loud due to live music and find it hard to sleep until past midnight

Remarkable hotel in the heart of Carrick-on-Suir. Smooth check-in. Room was spotless with all necessities provided. Staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful, with a special mention to the bar staff. Check-out was just as smooth as check-in. I would highly recommend The Carraig Hotel.

Hotel is gorgeous, right in the centre of town , staff are friendly and helpful, our room was lovely, bed was super soft and comfortable. Great verity of breakfast, we also had dinner that evening, it was amazing

I like the atmosphere of the hotel. The woman at reception was efficient and we shared a joke as we were checking in. The food was good and service relaxed while getting it done. The room was clean and warm with a good shower. The breakfast was very good and plenty. Over all a great stay over. Keep up the good work and see you again.
