I really liked the location and history of the house, plus the setting. All the food we had was excellent, great dinner and a substantial breakfast. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The relaxation areas in the hotel looked really nice and comfortable but we didn't get a chance to use them, as we just stayed one night. We went to the Main Guard in Clonmel after we checked out and really enjoyed the art exhibition there-very knowledgeable guide.
The room was in an annex, which was OK, but it was not part of the main house, we went outside and accessed it through a yard. The bed was moderately comfortable and the bathroom, particularly the shower, was a bit dated.

I really enjoyed my stay at Raheen House Hotel. The Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming and the location is perfect. Only a couple of minutes walk into the heart of Clonmel but a million miles away from all the hustle and bustle (and plenty of on-site parking). Lovely room and modern bathroom. The little bar with the dog portraits looks so cosy. Beautiful garden and I loved the courtyard with the tree ferns. Hope to stay again one day. Thanks for everything Davie :-)

The hotel has character the decor and furniture being in a style more of the early last Century - the drawing room and bar were very relaxing . The food was very good and worth paying that little bit more for.Excellent Car parking and nice grounds - two outside areas to enjoy a drink if the weather is kind. The Hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre where there are some nice bars and eating places. This hotel would suit couples on a road trip prepared to pay a little more for a quality stop over - we only did the one evening and wished we had done two. Excellent Breakfast.
Times are still a little tough financially and the very amenable young lady who was on reception, table service and bar duties - she was a little stretched at times ( not her fault)- if we had say looked to stay in say the Autumn when the days are shorter it would be nice to think someone was on the bar to provide a little more “ Mein Host”- would I visit again ? Without a doubt

Lovely 1 night stay room was clean and bed was very comfy, nice en-suite and shower in the bathroom. Property is surrounded by beautiful gardens with lots of trees, lovely flowers and different types of birds also to watch. Full Irish breakfast was super and both check in and check out was easy with nice helpful friendly staff which made my stay so peaceful and relaxing which was just perfect. Great car parking area on site as well. Highly recommend Raheen House Hotel for a relaxing break. Thanks guys. Regards Brian C

Hotel and grounds are beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. Hotel is in walking distance of Clonmel town centre.
Not a major complaint, but the reception staff offered very little information and gave us no opportunity to ask questions. We were handed the key and pointed to our room. Checking out we were waiting as no-one was on the desk and when I paid cash there was no money in the till, so we had to wait longer again while change was sourced. It did not affect the enjoyment of our stay however. Just something to note.

The Manager, Claire, was fabulous and couldn't have been more attentive. All other hotels should send their managers here to see how superb customer service is done properly. The food was exceptional and there was plenty of it. The bed was really comfortable. If you're going to Clonmel this is the place to stay. Great value for money
The only problem was that there was no hot water due to a boiler fault. They need to get the boiler replaced as there was a similar problem the last time we stayed here.

Absolutely beautiful old hotel, 5 minute walk from the town centre, lovely decor and furnishings throughout this quirky building. A very warm welcome from all the staff, they were lovely and chatty and very helpful. Our room was tastefully decorated, very clean, lovely comfy bed and a great shower. Lovely food, breakfast cooked to order with plenty of choice. The gardens here are stunning with plenty of different seating areas. We will definitely be back!
Can find no fault at all with this hotel. It really is a hidden gem.

Great scrambled egg & smoked salmon, nice croissants & jam, good coffee.
Not a huge choice for breakfast, space for display of cereals, juices etc was tight. Only 2 choices of hot breakfast. No brown toast for 2 days. Coffee machine didn’t work after our 2nd morning. 2 weekend waitresses were a bit chaotic .

Staff were very friendly from the moment I arrived. They couldn't do enough. I was shown to my room. Room facilities were great. Very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Good variety. Very tasty. Breakfast staff very friendly also. All round very good.
My room was at the front of the hotel (#24) and it was a bit bright from the outside light. Maybe a blackout curtain. But I survived - first world problems.

Friendliness, help from Reception staff with all enquiries, especially a) when enquired about a meal, without knowing there was a big (Communion) celebration taking place in the main dining room, the very busy chef brought me a lovely meal. Then b) very early morning departure, night porter helped with bags, offered tea and light breakfast.
Loved everything about my stay. Room very well-equipped, comfortable, lovely decor. Other guests were noisy - banging doors
