Annaswood was easy to find on the sat nav and took us straight there with no issues. We arrived late on the evening but had everything we needed. The hosts Eleanor and Sean are super lovely people and we enjoyed our morning chats with them at a very accommodating breakfast every morning. We had our 5 year our daughter with us who also particularly loved it here. She loved the garden, the animals tbh everything. Rooms were clean, plenty of space and storage. The area was so quiet. We enjoyed eating our dinners In the peace and tranquillity of the garden with Milo their dog. We miss it already 😢

Friendly host. Nice breakfast. Very pretty outlook. Good location for walks and visiting Cahir and the Galtees the Vee and the Glen of Aherlow

The room was smaller than expected and we felt a bit cramped although there was a small sitting room at the top of the stairs. We could hear people on the stairs at night and the front door opening at 6.30 am. There was only one bedside table and no charging by the bed for the phone. The mattress wasn't very comfortable.

Everything!!! it exceeded my expectations! The beautiful, cosy and very clean room with all amenities! Very tasty and varied breakfast - gluten free friendly place😊 It is a place absolutely peaceful and perfect to fully enjoy your staying here! Very close to the quite noisy Cahir - 5 min by car. So, you can enjoy your day in Cahir and go back to Annaswood B&B to get full rest and proper sleep in a quiet beautiful place! And the most important thing The Owners - warm-hearted and wonderful people 💖

That I have to leave the place too soon😥

From my arrival to my departure I felt at home with Annaswood! My room was more than sufficient equipped with a desk, fridge, tea making facilities and ensuite bathroom with a shower. The shared seating area was the steal of the show with the apex window! Mountains, heifers and a cottage core garden - well up my street! Lovely quiet surroundings when I went for a short walk in the evening. A great cooked breakfast in the morning by Eleanor and some light conversation during this time. A short but enjoyable stay!

We encountered a lovely and friendly welcome ahead of our five night stay. Eleanor was personable, accommodating and made us feel at ease in her home. She gave us good insight with regards to places to see and things to do. Our room was spacious, clean and had plenty of storage. The bathroom was a good size. Adjacent to our bedroom was a lounging / TV area. It included a small refrigerator and glasses available for our use. Wifi was good, fast, free and reliable. There was a great choice for breakfast, the cooked variety was lovely and freshly made to order. It’s rural location is ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Views of the countryside (Galtee mountains, cows, guinea fowl etc) from the dining room and TV room were picturesque. The nearest town of Cahir was three miles away and boasted a few dining options and supermarkets. We were so glad we found this gem. Thank you Eleanor and Sean Beth and Alastair

Nothing, everything was brilliant

Beautiful location in the farmland of Co. Tipperary. Lovely owners of a farm. Catered to our every need. Very relaxing and friendly people. Quiet countryside for a real retreat and refresh. Enjoyed our hosts and their stories. Great for a relaxing getaway. Mountain view.

The rooms were a bit tiny, but sufficient with fridge and tea/coffee. Hard to navigate that area of the country without road signs and spotty internet. Once you're there, there is plenty of room for walking and reflection.

The surrounding landscapes are absolutely stunning—rolling hills, lush gardens, and peaceful views in every direction. It’s the perfect setting to unwind and reconnect with nature. The property is well maintained, and you can tell the hosts put real care into preserving the natural beauty of the area.

The location of this BnB was amazing. Very rural location, you are surrounded by fields. Eleanor made the most of this with a beautiful picture window on landing, with sofa facing it. Even though location was quite and in a rural location, we were only about 7km from Cahr.

The bed and pillows quite hard. Only thing I could think of.

Quiet and very relaxing working farm location with a delightful host Eleanor who could not have done more to be welcoming and share info about the area and their farm. I loved the upstairs scenic nook to sit and reflect in the evening. Room was well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and set me up for my day! Easy to find, set back from road with plenty of parking on gravel forecourt. Very quiet setting, perfect for me.

Small fixable things only. Bedroom door rattled a lot with through draft when my window was open (it was a hot night!). Snug bathroom with folding door that didnt quite close properly. Ok for solos but might be awkward for a couple.

Lovely house. Lovely room. Very friendly owner. Lovely location. We especially loved the animals!! Having a small fridge outside the bedroom to keep our milk fresh. Beautiful view of the mountains from the landing window, with a very comfy sofa to appreciate it all the more
