The setting was beautiful, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, breakfast was delicious. Our host, Tommy was the best, he was friendly and gave us terrific advice and recommended driving to several quaint little towns. We visited the Cahir Castle in Co. Tipperary - it was great. On the way to Kinsale he recommended stopping at the Vee Pass in the Knockmealdown Mountains in Cloghee, Tipperary. It was breathtaking and pink Rhododendron were in bloom everywhere! 😊👌 Brenda and Andy from the Boston area.

Breakfast was marvelous. Tommy asked questions about what kinds of things I might like or might not like and prepared additional foods based on our conversation. They also had the standards of cereals, fruits, etc. available, along with coffee, tea, and juice. The window in the bedroom also opened up all the way, which I greatly appreciated. Tommy also provided a great suggestion about visiting a pub in Fethard, which was precisely the kind of place I was looking for on this trip.

There isn't any air conditioning (which is common in Europe), but the bedroom window did open all the way, allowing for cool air to come in. The driveway was also a little tricky to exit, as it's very difficult to see oncoming traffic before pulling into the roadway. I would suggest rolling your windows down to listen for vehicles.

A great bnb! We loved the hospitality offered by Tommy and Joan, our hosts. They chatted with us, sharing their life story and learning about ours. Breakfast and room was great but as usual we should have packed our things in smaller bags so that it was easier to lug up the stairs! But the best part was the route Tommy suggested we take for our drive to Cork - the rhododendrons and Lismore Gardens were beautiful and amazing! Thank you Tommy!

The pancakes at breakfast could have been more delicate but otherwise everything was great! No complaints.

This is a charming B&B in a beautiful location! We were a party of 5, needing 3 rooms, and I was so happy to find this place just outside of very busy Cashel. After a day of long driving, then seeing the Rock of Cashel for several hours, Tir na Nog was a welcome respite. Tommy was jolly and welcoming, and immediately made us dinner reservations at Bailey's restaurant in Cashel, after learning our plans for the evening. We also walked down the road to the neighborhood pub for a Guinness before dinner. (It's like your grandmother opened a pub in her living room) Dinner at Bailey's was terrific, and it was very fortunate that Tommy had made us a reservation - the place was packed! The B&B rooms were clean and cute; a bit funky but that was expected. My room had a beautiful view out over green fields, with cows grazing in the distance. There was a pretty, hand-embroidered coverlet on the bed. Breakfast the next morning was terrific; lots of traditional Irish breakfast as well as natural yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, and toasted soda bread for us vegetarians. Joan and Tommy made sure that everyone was happy and well-fed! Overall, this was a lovely, quiet, welcoming place and I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you enjoy having a place away from the busy, noisy city. Very convenient after seeing the Rock of Cashel!

It does not deduct from the rating, but I didn't realize that this place is a "Cash only" payment. We had to scramble our cash together to pay. It is my fault for not reading all the fine print, but perhaps it could be made more clear when you book. There may have been a message about it, but with all the trip preparation, I didn't remember. Also, the rooms are all upstairs, so carting suitcases was a challenge, but that does not deduct a star! It's a cute, converted house, not a hotel with an elevator. Overall, there was nothing to "dislike"! A very lovely place indeed.

We stayed only one night, we really liked the house, very cozy and atmospheric, the rooms are equipped with everything you need, everything in the rooms is neat and clean, the breakfast is wonderful. The owners of this house are very friendly and hospitable, they will tell you where to eat deliciously in the city and what sights to see. In general, we really liked everything and recommend it to all vacationers!!! P.S. Thank you very much to the owners of this house for your hospitality and a good rest. Health, happiness and good luck to you and your family!!!

The location was very scenic and beautiful, very easy to get to get to the centre if you have a car. The owner was the sweetest guy ever, he made us home made breakfast every morning and suggested so many beautiful places to see. I cannot recommend it enough, it felt very homey and cozy. 10/10

The only minor thing I have to say about this property was that the hot water in the shower did not have a lot of pressure and the knobs were hard to turn, but you can still use it fine if you have a bit of patience :)

Tommy and Joan are friendly and warm hosts. My husband sat in the sitting room and Tommy brought him tea and some food items to go with it. Bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was wonderful. Continental items available and breakfast cooked per your request. Great location for us after spending the day visiting Blarney Castle, Cahir Castle, Rock of Cashel, and Hore Abbey. We ate at Bailey's Hotel before driving to the BnB. Food was great there but best to have a reservation. We were lucky to get a table within about 20 mins as we had no reservation.

Clean, easy to find, easy parking. Flexible: another B&B cancelled our stay the day before arrival. Tir Na Nog accepted our reservation. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful: recommended sites for the next steps of our Ireland journey. Excellent full Irish breakfast!

No negatives at all!

We had a wonderful stay here. Tommy greeted us from arrival and was a fantastic host. The room was clean, spacious and well supplied with everything we could need. The view from our room of the countryside was beautiful. Tommy gave us fantastic recommendations on where to eat in town and some wonderful recommendations on where we could visit in the area as well as routes to take on our further travels. The breakfast was delicious and catered to some dietary requirements of our party easily. This really is a B&B run with guests enjoyment as it’s priority.

There was the occasional strange noise from pipes or taps overnight but we were able to sleep through this.

Located 15 mins by car from lovely Cashel Tir Na Nog B&B is a lovely, quiet spot in the country. Our room was clean and comfortable (on ground floor, which we loved as we travelled with heavy lagguages), parking was right on the back of the house and breakfast was tasty and abundant. The heart of Tir Na Nog are the lovely owners, who welcome you in the old, warm Irish way, with some good chat. The value of good hospitality is very important to me, and it's sadly disappearing as time goes by. Here you can still find it, together with smile, some jokes and good background music while having breakfast. This is surely a little piece of the mythical Tir Na Nog island :)
