We attended for a Christmas night with work, Christmas night was great, food was delicious, staff were very well presented and mannered. Bed was so comfortable- I slept so good!!! The rooms are stunning since the refurbishment. I was glad the room was just the right temperature, previously I stayed it was way too warm. The bathrooms were also nicely updated 😍 The price at €104 (room only) was so reasonable, it made sense to stay instead of getting a taxi, great value!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Plenty of security at the event, but there was a guy in the smoking area that kept showing up and annoying people, he didn't seem to be a guest or anyone that was attending the Christmas night event. He was hassling two of my work colleagues.

Very comfy clean bed. We arrived after 1am so was pleasantly surprised as have not stayed at Talbot before. Thought cleanliness was good that night. However in the morning noticed floor in bathroom could have been bit cleaner.

Chap on reception when we arrived was not over friendly. He was polite and it was 1.30am so maybe I should not have expected over friendly ! I asked him if we could have a slightly later check out as it was such a late check in and he said he couldnt do that. He said I could ring at 7am for day staff decision. I understand we should have asked when we booked hotel.

Beautiful 3 day stay here rooms exceptional and clean very warm but we had a fan in our room food was Beautiful dinner service on Monday night was hectic does seem like a few of your staff need some more training as they walk past our table and many others while waiting to order for 30 min cerys is an absolute gem of a girl she knows her job and she was doing the job of 5 by herself with a smile shes a credit to your team also Dean was such a lovely guy we would def ve back again

More staff training needed for under pressure

Room and hotel in general very clean. Breakfast was excellent, as were breakfast staff. Housekeeping staff were very pleasant/friendly. Reception staff also pleasant, particularly the lady on duty at check out.

Debs/prom group arrived at hotel at the same time as us. Our room and floor was surrounded by them and I asked at reception if we could be moved to another floor (but none available) as I felt our sleep would be over once their debs was but was astonished that there was NO noise whatsoever on our corridor when they were returning from their ball to their rooms. So impressive and so much credit due to the young people attending the debs and/or hotel management for ensuring their stay did not interfere in any way with that of other guests. Location is quite a distance from town centre ( but we managed to walk it easily enough.

The decor around the hotel was top class really modern, including our bedroom. The carpets were even beautiful. Lots of mood lighting, hallways, bedrooms. We were pleasantly surprised. I really couldn't complain about much, value for money, facilities, kids were given a goody bag each day, so those little things make parents happy (during school holidays). Hotel rooms tend to be very warm so a fan was already placed in the room when we arrived. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of variety. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

The only negative thing I could say, is that the service in the bar for food was quite slow on Friday and it would be nice if there was an area of the bar available for those not dining. We did use a table but felt we were in a restaurant as opposed to a bar and tables were needed to cater for dining, but I feel this is happening everywhere in Ireland that serves food nowadays.

Comfortable room, I was there for the Co Tipperary Chamber of Commerce business awards. The meal was excellent, staff were wonderful. I forgot my handbag in my room, housekeeping brought it to reception. Very honest, reliable staff.

I arrived down at 10:50am for breakfast, unfortunately the fried breakfast items were left sitting too long. I know I left it a little late but it was Saturday morning and I slept in too late. Restaurant staff were lovely and I got a pot of coffee straight to my table. There was a huge selection besides the hot breakfast anyway which I enjoyed.

Everything in room and bar fabulous you could see resent refurbishment had gone on in some parts, the décor was really nice, and pool area good, nice size.

Fitness center locker room needs attention clearly not update yet, most had no way of keeping the key as nothing to put it in. Women don't have pockets in swim suits to keep keys. The shower had no shampoo, This is my first ever at a 4 star with no complementary shampoo in the showers. The pool area needs some attention on the roof area, big pipe with paint coming off. The restaurant décor very boring compared to the bar, in need of upgrade and no music on in there, very souls less. Would go into restaurant again. If though the food was nice. The view from our room was off a dirty roof. Some effort could made to clean it at least and add a bit of grass and some wild floors.. would make such a difference. If you don't want to maintain the planting at least keep it clean.

This hotel is beautiful and modern. It has a fitness suite and swimming pool. The staff were amazing. Super friendly and efficient. The location of the hotel is just on the outskirts of clonmel. We had a 2 night stay. Family of 3. The room was spotless and comfortable. There was a slight electrical issue in my room which was sorted out within minutes of me dialing 0 for guest support. My husband and I said several times during our stay that we would definitely use this hotel again. I really never encountered such excellent customer service and I hope that the bosses read this and pass on my thanks.

Everything was perfect

Room was excellent, obviously refurbished which was nice. It was spotless and very comfortable. Ate in the bar as i watched the football, great that was being showed too. The food was good also. Breakfast was very good, fresh and plenty of selection. Really couldn't fault anything.

Very minor but i did get a pint of Guinness from the bar and it was not nice at all but again minor complaint and just switched to an alternative drink. I was there for work so wasnt a big deal as it was just one with my mean really.

Rooms where beautifully decorated but the heat at night time was too warm, Food was good but waited 25 minutes to be served our drinks & staff where very busy

Stated above I had 3 young teenage sons with me & the life guards at the pool screamed at them quite a few times as they where messing around, as i was with them they were not being over boisterous just trying to have fun & we felt the life guards where a bit to over cautious.
