We had the unfortunate luck where a prior booked stay at another location fell through the day of arrival but we were fortunate to find a room available at Dún Ard. Everything was wonderfully perfect. Joe was an incredible host with friendly conversation and recommendations. The room and bath were beautifully decorated and immaculate with a picturesque view of the sea. The breakfast provided in the morning was nothing short of spectacular. Easily the best stay on our trip, and thank you for helping turn what could have been a downer into a bright spot. We just wish we had a chance for a longer stay.

Not a thing.

Joe(the host) was very welcoming from the doorstep of the accommodation. The interior design, quality of everything starting from the hospitality, royal breakfast (I highly recommend Anne's omelette for breakfast), fresh and clean linen, room that is very spacious. Every minute detail of the place is laid out including dinnerware, towels arrangement. Joes tips on what to visit on the way home or near the area were very helpful. These are only some of the positives about the place but there is not enough space and also the words to present how amazing the place is.

Thank you Joe and Anne for such a great stay. Couldn’t fault anything - easy to find, parking outside, a very large, comfy and clean room with a great selection of channels on the TV. A superb breakfast - you just don’t get that kind of quality or the standard of extra touches when staying in a hotel. The location was perfect, a short and scenic walk to local pubs or a shop if you need anything and a Local Link bus just down the road that brings you to and from Dungarvan town. Joe went out of his way to provide recommendations for great restaurants, swimming spots and local viewpoints. A great find.

The sea view was fantastic. The owner met us on the way in and on our way out. He was lovely and gave us some tips for our stay in Dungarvan. The BnB was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. We didn’t get the breakfast, but I can imagine it would be just as good!

The location is a little out of the way so it’s important to make sure you have eaten before going back as there wasn’t any delivery available or restaurants nearby.

Spacious Junior suite with fantastic view of the bay and to see sunsets. Joe was extremely helpful with recommendations, including Mahon Falls. It was not on our original agenda but we are very glad we went. Breakfast was excellent including fruit. Bed was comfortable and there was a sofa in the room. Very quiet. Includes parking.

We prefer walking into town for dinner. Dungarvan is close but you need to drive. We were aware of this when we booked. The pub across the street is friendly but extremely limited for food options.

Our stay at Dún Ard was amazing. The location is perfect, a gorgeous home with beautiful touches throughout. Our room was fantastic, breakfast was delicious lots of choice and made to your liking. Joe is a delight, friendly and attentive, readily available to offer assistance and/or recommend and suggest local sites/amenities etc. I’d happily recommend a stay at Dún Ard with Joe & Anne.

There was nothing to dislike

Breakfast was excellent, room was very comfortable. 10 out of 10

No house number. Arrived in the dark and could of done with a house number. Host did explain it was 2 house from the end, but when you're tired from travelling we missed it. That's the only thing, everything else was excellent. I'm really nit picking now.

I had a lovely stay at Dún Ard. The host, Joe, went out of his way to make sure I always had everything I needed. My room was very clean and comfortable. For breakfast there was a delicious selection of hot meals to choose from as well as complementary continental. The setting was beautiful. Located about a 10 minute drive from the local town, there were places in the house you were able to look out to the bay.

The property was spotless, the room had a fabulous view, the bed was so comfortable, the food was excellent and the host was very helpful with telling us of all the good places to visit and how to get there ,loved my stay will most certainly stay there again

The room was a good size and food very good. The proprietor went above and beyond with helping us to book an evening meal in town for us. He downloaded an Irish song I'd heard and played it over breakfast.He also advised us on our onward journey

I am a little lacking in mobility and there was a staircase up to the property and then again to the bedroom
