All the staff inclluding the cleaners were very friendly especially the girls who were in charge of the breakfast every morning and on the reception one was nice on the eyes 😂😂😂she knows who she is 🤣🤣🤣and they also made the effort with the kids by chatting with them

The dinnéar was a bit pricey for what was served and put on the plate didn't want to complain as it was the 1st night kids refused to eat there after that yes I know its a hotel I did pay 1000 euro to stay there the kids weren't happy and they are not fussy eaters ever.. but they do know what a cod looks like and tastes like they litreally said the fish was dumped in a chip pan fryer and tasted like grease the chips were like bricks that the chef should go back to cooking school only thing they liked was the ice cream and breakfasts 😭😭😭kids will be honest sorry but the breakfasts every morning were top notch nó complaints

The hotel is old fashioned but very comfortable and welcoming We had a room on the second floor. A lift was available. I requested a walk in shower as I have mobility issues. We got a beautiful new bathroom with a fab large walk in shower. The bed was large and very comfortable . All in all a good family run hotel in a great location with excellent cooked breakfast. Staff were all lovely and pleasant.

The bed was a bit high for me had to climb in to it. Very noisy on one night people in lane beside hotel but had to have windows open as it was a very hot August night and it's central location it was to b expected. Windows do need an upgrade but u can see things were being upgraded and in time I hope it will b an amazing hotel. Lovely to see a family run hotel rather than a corporate one in these difficult times for the tourism industry in Ireland.

We stopped at Lawlors Hotel for dinner and ended up booking a room. The receptionist told us the room wasn't ready, that she would have to see if she could organise it when my aunt asked at reception. However I booked it through Booking.com from our table which said the room was available. There was a bit of a kerfuffle as to the readiness of the room but thankfully we got sorted and it was both clean and comfortable. Dinner was good, we had roast beef and fish & chips. The service was great (thank you) Breakfast was a buffet but it wasn't fresh as we got to breakfast at 9:50 and they only served till 10. So my aunt's asked for a fresh breakfast and the staff obliged. The service was great in the breakfast room. The staff were both accommodating and courteous (thank you)

Loved that the hotel was so central to everything in the town. The staff were fantastic and so friendly and just lovely people. Food was fab especially the Ceaser Salad, best I have had in years. Pleny of hot water. I had a problem with tv in my room 304 and told reception and the problem was fixrd straight away. Brilliant service.

The noise in the bathroom with the extractor fans, noise way top loud when trying to have a relaxing bath. Need more staff especially at breakfast time. Lady doing breakfast was pure fantastic and cool,calm and so pleasent and cudnt do enuf 4 you. A real gem to have in hotel.

Location very good. Staff were nice. One room was ready early which was great for my mother. Beds were comfortable Had what you needed. Food was amazing Room was a great size for 3 people.

Very little plugs in the rooms and not in great locations in the room. None beside my bed. No fan in the room for warm weather. Windows and doors a bit outdated in the bathroom and room in general. Walls extremely thin can hear neighbours and the plumbing next door too.

The bath needs silicone where the tuoles meet the bath. It was filthy and unacceptable. A shame that the place you really expect cleanliness was filthy. Hopefully it will be addressed before my next visit. Otherwise I was very happy with everything and wonderful staff! Thanks!

Great location. Plesent staff.

Service is extremely slow in the bar in the evening. Took 25 mins to get two cocktails. One had to be remade. Bar man even sampled one then remained it. Order Seafood Chowder came without the brown bread. Ask server for spoon and knife told they are over there. And she just walked off. Same for the spring rolls. Asking about the brown bread and told kitchen was now closed. Room very nice but very Very warm.

OK well first night sleep not so good, noisy outside environment so in the morning mentioned it to reception staff and immediately moved. New room excellent, quite, peaceful and staff so friendly couldn't do enough for us 😊. Whole experience excellent. Private car park secure and safe and easily accessible. Spontaneous traditional music on two nights was a bonus. Breakfast lovely variety. Overall excellent value 👌 thank you

Lawlors is a great place to stay. The location with the free parking is so nice. Some folks have said it’s too old but I found it fine. My room was very modern. Breakfast was delicious as well as evening meal. The staff were lovely. I’d say the two women bartenders were lovely. Claire made me feel most welcome with good ideas for things to do.

I intended to stay for 2 nights because of business I had to do in Dungarvan but I ended up staying for 5 nights. I was very impressed with dedicated staff like India in reception and Martina in the dining room. I really appreciated the discount as my days extended from 3 to 4 and then to 5 nights. Friendly and accommodating staff day and evening too. Breakfast choices and evening choices were very good.
