We stayed here for a nearby wedding and found this place to be great value half the price of others in the area. ✅ Done Right: Twin room was clean and comfortable with a view of the street and church. No noise inside, very peaceful thanks to respectful guests 🙏 Outside was a bit lively late at night (we got back around 12:30 AM), but it felt safe and the narrow streets perhaps the voices felt louder. But again didn’t bother us in the slightest. Being so tired we fell quickly asleep Beds were comfortable and two pillows on each bed was perfect (comfortable too). Breakfast: Tasty and simple, sausage, egg, bacon, DIY toast, tea/coffee, and juice. We went down at 9:30 and had the place to ourselves—perfect. Staff in the breakfast area was lovely and not intrusive left you to your own. Other Perks: We parked at the Reheen Hotel for free, loads of space and only a 10-minute walk into town. No need to drive in. This place is not a fancy 5 star, but it ticked all our boxes: safe, clean, quiet, and close to everything we needed. Would stay again!

Great location and a wonderfully welcoming staff - whilst a faded glory, it was exceptionally good value for money, Beds were comfortable and clean whilst water pressure and good water temperature made for great shower. Central location was ideal, and the bar and the staff made for a pleasant stay upon return to the hotel. Breakfast was good and cooked to order - overall, a basic and dated hotel brought upwards as an experience by the friendly staff

As I said, a faded glory with an long overdue need for refurbishment and updating but it suited us and for such a price

What can I say? The staff orla and jacinta are amazing, instantly making you feel like a regular. The rooms are cosy and warm wither excellent showers, on .my second visit, I got to meet the owners, Richard and Esther. They are the loveliest couple, Richard took time to tell me about the history of the building, I had a drink in the bar and instantly included In conversations with the regulars, if you are visiting clonmel either for a stay or a night out, I would highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

I think this is my third time staying here and again very comfortable sleep town centre just outside the door and that breakfast everything cooked to perfection honestly the best breakfast in the country easily

Yeah the only issue I had really was the same as last time I stayed I felt that I was being rushed to check out like I get they want people out at the right time but I got a knock on the door with still an hour to go so I don't think that is a nice thing to do like it's a small thing but can be avoided also I felt it was little more pricey this time round probably due to it being the weekend but that shouldn't really make a difference as I paid just over 60 last time which is more than enough I feel

A lovely place to stay. Charming old building with a lot of history, vintage ware & dressers and decorated in a charming retro way. Very clean. Amazing water pressure in shower. Comfortable beds & all for a bargain price. Great location in the centre of town but not on the noisy strip. Staff were welcoming, so helpful & relaxed. We had a great night's sleep and a great breakfast. The bar below the guesthouse is lovely too. Highly recommended! Lovely people here, Clean, safe, welcoming and such a pleasure to stay

2nd time staying here and like before it was great value for money the breakfast included was so so delicious beds extremely comfortable with the town centre literally outside the door

No real issues to point out although I felt I was rushed to check out despite it saying on here checkout time was 12 not 11 even at that when I got a knock on the door from the cleaner she said it was time to checkout when it wasn't 11 yet at the time I just ask the place to be mindful of that other than that everything was grand

Great staff, each of whom tries very hard to make your stay comfortable in a hotel with all the basic facilities and a very convenient location. In particular, a GREAT breakfast.

Some minor aggravations that can be traded off when bearing in mind the excellent staff and convenient location.

The 2 Jacintas were so so nice & helpful, younger Jacinta in reception & bar & older Jacinta, who came in early to cook us a lovely hot breakfast because we were leaving early for the Knockmealdown challenge

Hotel is very out dated & old, but the location was perfect for us & the 2 Jacintas made us so welcome

As soon as we entered the hotel I was struck by the unique and sumptuous decor- it felt like we were entering the 19th century. The bar was more than a bar-it was a meeting place for friends and those who would become friends, and there was so much to look at on every wall and corner. The rooms were small but had everything a person could need- AND hot water showers! The staff were so friendly and helpful- it got to feel like home pretty quickly. Special thanks to manager Selina Chanel, who came back to work in the evening to help us with online booking problems for the airlines- she cheerfully worked with us for two hours to solve our flight problem- bless her, keep her, and give her a raise!

Comfortable beds very accommodating staff reasonable cost to stay oh and a delicious breakfast cooked perfectly I will most certainly like to stay here again

Can't really fault this place I mean it's on the retro side of things but that's just the style of this place and it's a good thing makes the place unique the only thing I'd point out is to make sure the cleaners clean the rooms properly before a new guest arrives found unpleasant surprise on one of the toilet rolls but other than that everything is perfect
