I’ve stayed here many times, I think this was my 12th stay, the lack of lift and so may stairs kills me but it’s close to what I need and the staff are wonderful, food is fantastic, rooms are so clean and bed is 10/10 the most comfortable bed ever

Stairs 🫣 I have a knee injury that suffers with every stay but not the hotels fault - the price was a little much this time, paid for the upgraded deluxe but none of the extra that were supposed to be involved were there

Room was lovely, especially the bathroom and huge walk in shower. Staff, food and service in the pub was lovely too! Both evening meal and breakfast had great options and were very tasty!

Bit disappointed the beer garden closed so early on what was a beautiful day. Even more disappointed that we were not told at any stage that the bar turned into a nightclub! We were told there was a nightclub onsite and had no problem with that, and had seen the room that could be taken to be the nightclub, however it wasn't explained at any stage that a bar itself is actually turned into a nightclub and there would be no ordinary bar available to residents! would be best to be aware of this so could arrange to go elsewhere!

Very clean property and nicely decorated. Room was small but bedding Luxurious and high end. Room faced street but little or no noise at night time. Overall very good value with free parking

It’s a well looked after property and very clean with a great location. It’s an older hotel but that’s a good feature, as it is a historic hotel with a lot of character

The property was spotless , in the heart of Thurles town , lovely pub across the road and disco in the adjoining garden until early hours of morning. The food was beautiful. Friendly staff.

Fire alarm echoed at 5am waking up most of hotel. Startled but no explanation as to why this happened. The staff at an event were not able to keep up with serving drink , extremely slow service , taken away from the time to enjoy the event itself.

We received a large room with a very comfortable bed. The room was clean with lots of natural light, cubpoard space and a desk. Staff at reception and at the restaurant gave us a very warm welcome and were helpful throughout our stay. We loved sleeping with the cold air thanks to partially opening windows. Conveniently located in the heart of Thurles.

The second room was on the second floor unfortunately as the hotel was fully booked. Convenient safe parking behind the hotel. Best to travel light as hotel does not have an elevator but the building does have lots of charm.

Great location for my requirement. Had breakfast & evening meals and both were fantastic. Great friendly staff, Gary was great.

It's not a not like but an improvement. Cut down on portion size for dinner. We had a starter and main. Could not finish the main as portions on starter were too big. Alot of food waste. Your meals are very reasonably priced for a smaller size.

At a cost of 194e for the room It was without breakfast It's a little bit expensive Not to give a simple breakfast. Only my opinion We stayed in 2 similar hotels around the same price that weekend, all with breakfast included It then cost 13e a breakfast after that , apart from that its a great hotel, and the staff were fantastic.

I arrived at around 9.30pm , I rang the bell and was greeted by a lovely member of staff. I headed to room 211,it was a beautiful spotless room ,not very big but was fine for me. As for the breakfast,well it was the finest I've ever eaten. I don't get to that part of the country very often but if I ever do, I'll be going back to room 211 if they have it available.

Possibly the shower could have a bigger more powerful shower head. I spent the last hour trying to figure out what fault I could find 😁

The room was lovely and clean. Hotel was kept clean, staff were very helpful. Night security guy was very helpful with access at all times.

Door wasn't open until 9am on the match day so had to keep bothering the security man to get in and out.

The Cusack bar, staff and management were friendly and welcoming. Food was fantastic!! Service was fast. The lady at reception was extremely helpful, professional and polite. Even the security doormen were gentlemen, gave me some advice on where to go around Thurles. My bed was comfortable and a powerful shower in the bathroom.

Couldn't fault anything.
