The staff was great. Check in was smooth. The parking worked well. There was an elevator so the only steps to schlep our luggage up was out front. The breakfast was adequate but the pastries were outstanding. The location was perfect for our needs. We walked up to the castle and then down to Hore Abby. The return walk included some shopping and enjoying of the town. The only downsides were that the older building was updated but not particularly well. If you like a firm bed, you will love the one we had. The only thing that made sleep elude us was the lack of AC. We do not sleep well in 24 degree (75f) air. This is the 3rd hotel in the last 3 months here in Ireland where this was a problem. The other 2 moved us into other rooms that were no better so we did not bother at Baileys. Bottom line, good hotel, great location and staff, acceptable value.

Reception Staff are amazing! So helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff are friendly and fab at what they do- Rooms are spotless and comfortable with all amenities you need for a great stay. Bar staff and front of house staff in bar/restaurant are fab and friendly - great cocktails too. Bar and restaurant are lovely and welcoming and very busy - a must to book a table in advance. Cashel is a beautiful place with plenty of bars and other restaurants and the locals are friendly.

Breakfast was a little disappointing on this visit - eggs always overcooked, as well as the bacon which was dry & the omelette. Some of the waiting Staff at dinner (young girls) on 2 of our 3 nights were clearly not very happy in their work and it showed - no friendly greeting, no smiles & they failed to bring things over when asked, so had to ask someone else to condiments again.

Room: Was spacious and clean. Love the king size bed. Mattress is comfortable and pillows were great. Breakfast: Was appetising. Choices were sufficient, especially on the hot breakfast options. Service was good. Very attentive. Dinner: Outstanding, service was great. Food was mouth wateringly delicious. Vibe was lovely as it was fully booked. Must make a reservation as is suggested by the hotel in advance of check in.

Room: Room was warm. Aircon wasn't working. However a fan was provided but only saw it in the cupboard the morning after ;-) Breakfast: Just a tad spicey for an Egg's Benedict (for me personally). Coffee was served cold, but was quickly replaced. Dinner: Nothing I didn't like.

Well located in town & within walking distance to the Rock of Cashel. The underground garage is very near & convenient. We can take elevator to the room from the ground floor - so no problems with heavy luggage. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant & bar which seems to be a popular place in town. They called us in room to let us know when our table is available (because we didn’t make a reservation).

The bar/restaurant was too crowded. We got the food but our drinks didn’t come.

Very smooth check in and quiet night. Comfortable bed, lovely coffee machine. Overall, very happy with the stay and would stay again as we found a good spot with lots of music and dancing, happy days!

More milk in the room would also be helpful as we had to ring reception for more but that was a small thing. Slight draw back is parking the car to check in and then having to get the code from reception. This would be better if it was provided at the time of booking or a reminder email before arriving as it was awkward and the town was very busy.

The location was good for our interests. The breakfast was freshly prepared and really tasty. The restaurant and bar were excellent. The staff in both were very friendly and welcoming.

There was an unpleasant smell in the room when we entered after checking in. It may have been due to moisture from a leaking shower screen which flooded the bathroom floor near the door when we used it. This issue was reported to reception on checking out.

Beautiful penthouse room with a view of The Rock of Cashel from the furthest skylight window. Impeccably decorated and clean. Room service was swift and the food was very good. The jet bath and spacious bathroom felt to be a luxurious touch to an already beautiful room.

The only advice I would give is, with the price of the penthouse I would’ve expected the following 1.Gratis biscuits with the coffee machine 2.Vanity set (disposable toothbrush; sewing kit; earbuds etc) 3.Option to leave a request in the door for breakfast to be delivered to the room

This spacious and gracious hotel has carefully thought of the needs of travellers and then delivered on them. Their attention to detail is outstanding. The room was comfortable, clean, lots of powerpoints and room for luggage. Off street parking was a bonus. The on site restaurant served great meals.

Car parking is complimentary and excellent. We could park very close by after an easy check-in. Staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. Our room was quiet and comfortable. A fabulous bar and restaurant is located downstairs, very cosy, with the feel of an Irish bar, and the food is excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Bailey's is located a short drive to interesting heritage sites in the area.

Shower recess could be updated.

The staff on arrival were lovely and efficient. The Hotel is very very old but the standard of the decor in our rooms and in the public rooms was excellent. The evening meal in the restaurant was really good quality and reasonably priced. The restaurant was buzzing with atmosphere. The hotel is fantastically located for the high street of Cashel and a short walk to the Rock Of Cashel, that really shouldn't be missed.

Noisy at times. Dependant upon what room you get really. Our rooms tended to the noisy side on the Saturday night. We were on the first floor above the restaurant and bar. However this didn't spoil our enjoyment of the room or sleep.
