The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area about 20 mins walk from city centre. It wasn't crowded or busy which I liked.

I liked everything about it. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. I made a complaint about my door and it was rectified the next morning. The place is well maintained and clean. The room and showroom are spacious It would be great if they could change their power points to universal chargers. The shower pressure wasn't strong, but that was alright.

Stayed for 1 night. It was more like a Chalet than a Hotel. Area surrounded with greeneries which makes you feel good and fresh. The room was clean and had good vibes. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. There were two swimming pools. Breakfast was awesome and the fried rice which was prepared extra spicy was fantastic. The hotel surrounding was beautiful and romantic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although there were small issues we really enjoyed our stay

The fried noodle for breakfast was very salty. The route to shopping area is not well lighted so it is dangerous to walk in the evening or at night unless in groups. Better to take car or taxi when returning to hotel late. Our main door lock was unable to lock when we were going out for dinner & shopping, informed staff before we left but nothing was done till we check-out.

A very pleasant and relaxing place to stay. The hotel has two pools, which made our time there—especially during Nyepi Day (Silence Day)—even more enjoyable. We spent most of the day by the pool, and it was the perfect spot to unwind. The rooms were clean, and the staff were kind and attentive. The breakfast and restaurant menu were decent—though we would’ve appreciated a bit more variety in vegan options. The location is also quite good, depending on what you’re looking for in Ubud. All in all, it was a lovely stay and definitely one I would recommend.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Taman Amartha Hotel in Ubud, and it was truly a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel itself is beautifully nestled in lush greenery, creating a serene and peaceful environment that is perfect for relaxation. The room we stayed in was spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden and pool area. The amenities were top-notch, including air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, and a cozy bed that made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel offers two stunning pools that are ideal for lounging or taking a refreshing swim, adding to the overall peaceful ambiance. The on-site restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes, with both local and international options. Breakfast was always a treat, offering a good selection of items that were freshly prepared and full of flavor. What really stood out to me was the location—while it’s close enough to central Ubud, it still offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. It’s only a short drive or bike ride to popular attractions like the Ubud Monkey Forest and Ubud Palace, but the hotel itself feels like a secluded oasis. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Ubud. Taman Amartha Hotel offers excellent value, fantastic service, and a peaceful, beautiful environment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in the heart of Bali.

The staff was really nice and everybody made you feel very welcome. The rooms were nice. I got one directly at the pool and it was beautiful. The AC was very good and not too noisy. Big clean bathroom. Breakfast was not super fancy but they had a nice selection, everything tasted good and you felt full after - also very nice fruit platter for every breakfast. It took 20 minutes to walk to the central markets and all in all very nicely placed.

The fridge in the room could get a little noisy but wasn't too bad.

We stayed for 3 nights (4 days) and had an amazing experience. The hotel staff were outstanding—always attentive, friendly, and smiling. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the entire property was kept spotless throughout our stay. We had breakfast every morning, and it was always fresh and delicious—truly a great way to start the day. Overall, we enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special!

had a great time at taman amartha, it really made my stay in ubud. close enough to walk into town, far enough to get some peace and quiet. great pickup from the airport with driver gusti. great welcome on my first night from kade at the front desk, both helped me with my silly sized luggage. all the staff were very warm, genuine, kind, thoughtful and very smartly dressed in their uniforms, just a good vibe. there are two pools which are both lovely. i sometimes ordered food on grab or had room service during the day. the breakfast was one of my favourite in bali so far, the egg omelette and fruit salad and bali coffee, just delicious (and clean ... i like a good clean breakfast). my room was cleaned everyday whilst i was having my breakfast and when i returned i had the bed made, fresh towels, two bottles of water, coffee and tea top ups etc. that was a nice touch. it has been the cleanest place i have stayed in bali so far ! i appreciated the clean floor :) i used the laundry service as well and that was brilliant, clothes came back smelling lovely, ironed, folded and good price too. there are also a few amenities nearby like a wee mini mart, some spas and some restaurants and shops, although its a peaceful getaway from the hussle and bustle as i said above, if you want to grab a few things without going into town, it's also on your doorstep.

the only thing i did not like was the desert choices in the menu, but this may be such a personal thing.maybe if you like watching something on a tv to wind down you will need to bring your own laptop as there is no tv in the room.

My partner and I stayed here in late December 2022. Great value for money! Our room was right outside the pool so had the luxury of stepping outside our room for a swim or lazing by the pool. Our room was large - if I remember correctly we had the “family” room. Great amount of space to keep your luggage and belongings without tripping over it each time you walk in the door. The AC and wifi worked well. The shower pressure was great too. Our bed was a typical Bali (hard mattress) bed but I think that’s to ve expected in Bali. The venue had beautiful gardens. We loved that it was just off Raya Ubud (the main road). This walk could get a little tiresome if you don’t have wheels. Beep beep! Daily breakfast was a hit too!

We stayed on the ground floor which had a much smaller outdoor lounge than the ones above us, it was only comfortable for one. That didn’t matter too much as we had the luxury of using the pool lounges. It could be a touch annoying if it rained. Bring mozzie spray!

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was an absolutely magical experience! The hotel surprised us with the cutest decorations in our room, which made our stay feel extra special. The rooms had stunning views of the rice terraces and the pool, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were hands down the nicest people I’ve ever met. Their hospitality truly made our trip unforgettable. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone visiting Bali!

The staff were great, there are two pools and nice sun loungers, the room I got on the second floor was clean and spacious with a balcony that had enough space for an outdoor bed and a dining table. The welcome drink was a nice touch, the breakfast was delicious, and there’s parking available and motorbike rental if needed.

The one-way road in front of the hotel for cars made it tricky to return to the hotel through the crowded traffic on Ubud's main roads. No issues for motorbikes, though.
