Agung and his wife were very welcoming and we always had great chats. I felt very at home and very well taken care of. Communication with the hostess was very easy. They helped us a lot for wherever we need. Breakfast was incredible and plentiful and they adapted it for our schedule. The location of the place is perfect. It is 10 minutes to center by walking. There are all famous restaurants around hotel. The nature of the hotel is amazing. It reflects traditional balienese culture in every aspect. Everywhere is green, there is also a temple inside the garden. Rooms are clean, AC is working, no problem with hot water. The owner, Ayu, is a great person. So warm, so helpful and friendly. She helps for everything you need. I think this place is the best option for this price. Please dont think it is low quality as the price isnt so high. I think it deserves more than this. If you want to stay in the center of Ubud in a good place, here is the best option.

I really liked staying at Jero because it was closes to an authentic experience. People who are interested knowing a little bit more abut Ubud should consider staying here. First of all, the building is located inside a compound, which almost looked like a temple (and of course, it has one inside!). Ayu and Bagush, the hosts, gave us insights about Ubud and their culture, and we cherish that experience. Ayu also gave us tips on what to eat and what to visit, which are not found in internet reviews - so off-the-beaten track. The place is near our favourite walking trail, but is also not too far from the main Street in Ubud. Our favourite room was on the second floor of the building with a balcony, which gave us amazing views of the rooftops at dusk. The room was comfy and spacious and we felt super safe knowing that we are living in a family compound. It was a great stay! - Lea and Carol

Where to find out why the score is high. Location, price, cleanliness and kindness are all perfect places. This is my third visit to Ubud, and this is the best accommodation. It is a nature-friendly and private accommodation, but it was very cleanly maintained, so I could sleep comfortably in a clean bed. The shower facilities are clean, too. I've been staying for three nights and four days without any inconvenience, especially the boss and his wife always check for drinks or things they need. The welcome tea was also made by putting the lemon in front of me, and I was able to get the best healing. The next time you stop at Ubud, you'll stop here again.

Our two-month stay at Jero Griya in Ubud was nothing short of amazing. We were treated to freshly made Balinese coffee and a mouth-watering spread of fresh fruit from the garden every morning. Nestled in the lush, green jungle surrounding Ubud, the grounds were impeccably maintained and provided a sense of serenity and tranquility. As a bonus, the Juice Ja Café Ubud is conveniently located across the street. What really made our experience at Jero Griya unforgettable, however, was the warm and welcoming staff. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family - greeted with smiles and open arms and made to feel our comfort and happiness were their top priority. Whether it was recommending local attractions, chatting about all things Bali, or simply asking about our day, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience during our stay. Jero Griya made our stay in Ubud wonderful. The beautiful traditional building and gardens, along with the kind hospitality of the owner's family, made for a truly enjoyable stay. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning. My daughter really loved the banana pancakes. The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning and a shower with good water pressure and temperature. The location was also great, with cafes, warung,restaurants, souvenir street, minimart, the Royal Palace, and Life Field all within walking distance, making it very convenient. There were six cute cats there, and my daughter fell in love with them and was very sad when she had to leave. Highly recommended for stay in Ubud.

Ayu is a very skilled master. The reviews here were all written honestly, and if you have read all the reviews, you can make a reservation. Ubud's lodge cannot be free from insects, especially ants, but I stayed here for three days and did not see any ants. And Ayu's breakfast was very delicious and hearty. You can't book a lodging like this in Indonesia at this price. The small rooms are decorated in a traditional style and the large rooms are decorated in a modern style. In particular, I was on a tour of the East due to a sudden change in plan, and I was so grateful that Ayu called me a taxi and I was able to tour comfortably. Anyway, if I go to Bali again next time, I really want to revisit this accommodation.

Our FAVOURITE accommodation in Indonesia. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to Ubud. The accommodation is run by a very friendly and welcoming local family. We felt at home. The space is beautiful and our particular room had a lovely balcony and view whilst also feeling private. We were walking distance to town but not on a busy street, plenty of lovely places to eat nearby. You can also buy a great breakfast at the accommodation if you wish. The space was clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend!!
