Our stay at this boutique small hotel was nothing short of perfect, so much so that we extended our visit by another five days! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were incredibly friendly, always helpful, and went above and beyond to make our experience special. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a serene view of the big, beautiful trees outside. It was a peaceful retreat where we enjoyed restful nights on the exceptionally comfortable bed. We were also delighted by thoughtful touches, like the surprise delivery of homemade cookies. The hotel offers excellent amenities and services, including scooter rentals and laundry, both of which were arranged seamlessly for us. The cleanliness was impeccable, and we loved the fresh, delightful scent of the towels—a small detail that made a big impression. Its location, slightly hidden from the main road, added to the tranquil atmosphere we were looking for. We couldn’t have asked for a better combination of charm, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended, and we’d gladly return!

It’s exactly as advertised. The breakfast was amazing, staff were unbelievably caring and even installed an additional router near my room as I was working remote and needed to be on video calls often, and the current WiFi didn’t support. Again the staff, when I got sick checked in, brought me tea, and when I needed to make an emergency trip home last minute helping with drivers etc. The room is clean, the pool is amazing and the location is secluded, but close with a scooter or grab.

Super stylish! I loved the design of our room that was so practically laid out. Especially adored the reading lights that you can adjust from the sides of the bed. The reception staff were so incredibly sweet and helpful. Loved the fact that the host provided a tote bag and coasters as a gift… we use them everyday and reminds us of the wonderful time spent at THE CIVYT. The breakfast options are great as well, a variety to choose from and very tasty. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to the vibe of Ubud but just far enough away to enjoy some tranquility. Everything is within walking distance : )

If you plan to stay in Ubud, look no further. The facilities are clean, there are markets nearby. The pool was crystal clear. Honestly, there were no insects even. The view from the balcony to the jungle was surreal. Away from traffic noise and everything, in this place you feel one with nature. The staff was very sensitive to the customer needs, delivering quality and on time.

The room is so stylish, everything good quality! Very well done to the owner of this hotel. I love the decor, beds and pillow so comfortable (best bed of all the hotels we stayed in Bali), also smart tv that. Location was very good - walking distance to the town. 20 min walking. I booked this hotel in a last notice and it didn’t disappoint me. Starting from the very neat and well designed rooms till the great attude from the host. My stay there was beyond my expectations. The room & toilet were very clean. The balcony was also really nice. This is a great place if you want a peaceful quiet hotel. I like the view towards the forest as well.

The only thing I wasn’t comfortable with is the walk between the property enterace towards the reception, which was a bit long and it was hard to move the luggage around.

I loved my room, the bathroom, cleanliness - I stayed in Bali many times in many different places and I can say even some high price hotels sometimes have smelly towels I guess due to the humidity, this is the first thing I notice so towels smelled clean. I did not have any pests and my balcony was beautiful. Area is quiet which is great. I like that there is a speaker in the room also and coffee machine. Friendly nice staff and breakfast was good too. I asked for plain yoghurt an they accommodated it too. Pool was also clean and beautiful

I only did not like that the AC was loud. I was lucky because at night it was not that hot so I could turn it off, but if it was a hot night probably it would disturb me, as I am a light sleeper.

We loved the modern and industrial design of the place. Great air conditioning in the room and the pool was amazing to cool off in. Unlimited filtered water was available, breakfast was delicious and some of the best pancakes we've had in Bali! There's also the cutest dogs that love a head scratch.

The bed was quite firm - my wife didn't mind it but it was too firm for my liking. There's some construction going on on the top floor which was quite loud during the day. The wifi was quite slow too, I imagine due to the concrete walls interfering with the signal.

Loved my stay here! Was pleasantly surprised after being dropped off at a building site! Keep walking, you'll get there:). Room was bright, comfortable and super clean including the bathroom. The shower was great! The bed oh, so comfortable! Had a noisy neighbour one night and What'sApped the front desk, it was immediately sorted out. Only ate one breakfast here which was fresh and delicious. Hope to be back in the not too distant future.
